Good standard for a 2* Great for a cheap stopover spot to explore the local area. An old fashioned camping with old but clean facilities, the hottest showers we’ve found in a while, and a small well maintained swimming pool to cool off in. Simple individual private/semi-private spaces for tourers in lovely shaded and hedged areas. A lot of permanent pitches and statics that are a bit ramshackle but well looked after. Seemed to be regular evening activities at the reception area — bingo & boules while we were there. On edge of a pretty little town — easily walkable — with a few bars and shops.
It was a lovely holiday in a wonderful spot with friendly helpful hosts. The caravan was clean, had everything we needed and nice countryside views. If you are travelling from calais by ferry it is an easy/short journey and a nice base to explore the region or to stop off for a wile before travelling onwards.
Walking to the village takes only a few minutes on a pretty path with interesting signs about the wildlife/area.
You are a short drive from St omer which has shops, restaurants, museums and the famous marshes which has boat trips and produces the best fresh produce in France.
We were there off season so no pool or restaurant which was fine (especially as they recommended nearby spots and had some local drinks) but even off season our daughter loved the wildlife and the parakeets and trampoline.
It was a safe welcoming place great for families and very good value for money. If we were a younger couple (without the kid/dog) we would definitely have enjoyed the smaller accommodation for solo travellers. If anything the photos don't do it justice!

Extremely nice camping, not too expensine for a pensioner's meager means. Facilities so clean I was afraid to enter. Chemical toilet dump (for casettes only), washing machines, toilets, shower, fresh water. Roomy plots separated by hedges, big old trees providing shade. Swimming pool. Very relaxing 10-day stay. The only problem (not with the camping but the village) was that there was no grocery store. Very good butchery, bakery and chocolate factory, which actually were enough.
