Bluets et Brimbelles

My 9th visit to this little piece of heaven in beautiful Alsace. So lovely to see Catherine and Thierry again, they are the best hosts and Catherine’s meals are amazing.
My husband and I had visited 8 times previously since 2017 and my first time solo was emotional.
I thoroughly recommend a visit if you want peace and quiet, beautiful countryside and great hosts.
I will return.

Accommodation in a small guesthouse with unimaginably good personalized service and perfect facilities. Among other things, it is possible to order dinner, which is cooked in the home kitchen by the owners. You won't get better anywhere.
Nothing.

Our reservation was cancelled after we informed the hosts that we have a child younger than 10. On their website nothing like this is mentioned and after reading that the only pets accepted are teddy bears one would think that the place is kids friendly. Especially during off-season when all rooms were still available this behaviour is not understandable. After reading the website we booked via booking. Com making the mistake not to scroll to the very bottom of the site where the age restriction was mentioned. But who could imagine an age restriction? Nowadays that comes right after denying homosexual persons or people of colour access to a hotel. Well, we booked another accomodation where all of us and not only our money was welcome!
To be considered: unwanted children may or in this case certainly will not become the guests of tomorrow.

We had a wonderful 3 days with Catherine and Thierry last week. It is easy to overdo the superlatives but Bluets and Brimbelles is a simply outstanding B&B. The old farmhouse has been lovingly restored with flair and imagination, the food is excellent, the hosts excel at looking after their guests and ensure a memorable stay. Not to be missed is a short tour of the area with Thierry and one of his cars — great fun and very informative. Thoroughly recommended.

Catherine & Thierry are just fab. Considerate, engaging, and knowledgeable. Catherine's patisserie skills are exceptional — DEFINITELY eat in if it's available. Delicious grub and fascinating conversation about the complexities of the local history over the centuries as France and Germany vied for control of the region.
The house has been beautifully restored. We will be returning we're sure — this time for a tour in one of Thierry's wonderful classic cars. Thank you T & C. Best wishes, Charlie & Juliet.

We visited Bluets et Brimbelles two years ago for one night and enjoyed it so much we decided to come back for a longer stay. The hospitality of Catherine and Thierry is second to none and Catherine is a wonderful cook and Thierry is very knowledgeable about the area. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed every minute but there is so much to see we need to come back again and stop longer next time. The house is extremely comfortable and we felt completely relaxed. This is a very special place and we felt we left as friends. Looking forward to next time and thanks to both of you for making our stay so memorable.

Owners treated us like family friends and made us very welcome. They knew so much about the area and really helped us make the most of our holiday. Great food! Fabulous cycling — quiet roads, spectacular scenery.
