We loved it. Everything was amazing. We had the "Tre Hyttes, " and it was such a unique stay. Really comfortable bed, breathtaking views from le upper lounge area that was equipped with sitting area, coffee, tea, and complimentary mini fridge. The staff was really friendly, from booking to checkout. Breakfast was delicious and had lots of nice and local choices. Dinner was also top-notch. We strongly recommend it.

My husband and I spent 5 nights at this delightful, unique and very peaceful rural hotel. We booked a Grasse Hutte and though a bit small, the clean Scandanavian design and the views from the deck were lovely. The staff couldn't have been more cheerful and helpful, even with our lack of French, especially Stefan. We would highly recommend this gem.

We spent 1 night in the hotel. We had amazing, calm and relaxing stay. We choose to take the breakfast in the room, 100% worth it, the portions were big and the quality was excellent.

This unique setting, nesstled between village and mountain is where luxury meets nature.
As a family of three, this Skandinavien wooden cabin concept offered the perfect chance for a break away from the hustle and bustle of our busy daily lives. Although we stayed only one night, we felt recuperated and refreshed upon leaving the next day.
The friendly and helpful staff supported us with every small little need we expressed. Thank you for giving your utmost best to make our stay as pleasurable as possible.
What really touched me deeply was the passion, love and time that goes into growing the vegetables and greens in the garden. Although reconstructed to be presented like a piece of art in the restaurant, the earthly origin remained in the taste. It was clear that every fine little detail was well thought through and carefully planned in order to bring forward the best attribute of every ingredient going on the plate. Chef Frédérique has this amazing ability to transform every course into a masterpiece. An explosion of flavour, well balanced with just the right amount of acidity to refresh the palate was served with finesse and pride!
We were so excited about this amazing chef‘s approach in the kitchen that we bought a gift voucher for a friend as a birthday gift.
Personally, I cannot wait to taste more of his authentic creations!

A beautiful place in the Vosges mountains just a short distance from the wine route. The unit is well equipped and very pleasant. The view is especially amazing at sunrise. Privacy is almost perfect. The breakfast is excellent. The staff is excellent and happy to help with any question. In short, an amazing and recommended place. A small note: more orientation lighting at night and tightening of the paths to prevent slipping.

Great hotel with great concept. The wooden cabins are amazing, the service great & the breakfast has amazing local food! We had a bottle of white sprakling wine for us ready in the cabin which was a sweet attention.
The view is also beautiful and you are in a peaceful place in the mountainsin the middle of nature. Would 100% recommend!

48 degré nord was a remarkable discovery. The cabins, with their unique design, felt like an extension of the stunning natural landscape that enveloped us, offering a tranquil escape.
Breakfast was a delight, serving freshly sourced fruits and melt-in-your-mouth croissants, eggs and veggies.
The service stood out for its genuine warmth and attentiveness, adding to the overall exceptional experience.

Nice and unique place, with a special Nordic architecture located almost perfectly.
The cabins architecture, the interior decoration, the views and services are hand in hand.
Of course there are several downsides, amongst which; unique prices, some food may be looking good but not tasting good, there's a road around the location and there may be motors noise.
For the food I would go for the less complicated, fancy, expensive choices. But in general, some of the dishes are incredibly good.
Breakfast is great.
I would like to have some activities in nature, discovering plants and comestible flowers.

My wife and I spent a long weekend at 48 Nord and it was wonderful. The rooms themselves are a destination worth traveling for — incredibly unique design, with breathtaking views of the gorgeous green Vosges landscape. It is a hotel so singular that you will always remember it. The food at 48 Nord was delicious and elegant at each meal, and the apero was also incredible. Having the snack on the hotel terrace with some white wine and beer was just perfect. The hotel is within walking distance of a small village and short driving distance of several others, and we took advantage of the landscape to hike each day. We will definitely be back.
