Charming and quiet surroundings…

A flair that is rarely seen. Rustic, ingenious, historic. Very tastefully decorated, great breakfast, very very nice and accommodating staff. Absolutely not the last time. (have already been there 2x). Walking distance 50m restaurant, supermarket, bakery, wine tasting, bar, vineyards… top.

Such a charming place. Certainly feels like a step back in time. We enjoyed the meals and trying new things. We had a really great time and the staff was eager to please. Take a visit and enjoy!

We stayed at this hotel with some friends so in total 3 rooms. In general the hotel was nice and cousy. Its an old style hotel in Turckheim a very nice village in the Alsace area. There are some basic things that could greatly improve the experience. 1) The bathtube does not have a curtain or anything to stop the water from splitting all over the rest of the bathroom. Very annoying.
2) There is no way to fix the shower of the bathtube high to have water coming from the top over your body. Instead you have to figure out how to shower yourself by handling the shower manually.
3) The curtains of the room (especially on the rooms located to the front of the hotel) do not cover the light, so you wake up with the sun hitting your eyes. For the ones sensitive to light when sleeping, very annoying. The concierge lady was very helpful calling to some restaurants to try to find out a table for us because we forgot to reserve. The breakfast should be included for the price of the room, especially because its not really great. A nice hotel but could greatly improve with small things.

Very nice hotel in the center of Turkheim, friendly staff, great breakfast also served in the cool courtyard. Sumptuously furnished with sometimes excessive styles, but everything is pleasant. Chess, books, magazines and board games in the common spaces.

Just beautiful. Dreamy. The room was spacious and clean. Varied breakfasts and all great.

The location of the hotel is perfect and is close to many places. Service is perfect and the room is very tidy.

Beautiful building next to the Town Hall of Turckheim. Lovely setting. But… don't go there in summer! Room was searing hot from all-day-long direct sunlight. No A. C. No electric fan, room temperature above 40 deg. Slept with wide open windows (did not help much), mosquitos were a 'bonus'. Reception staff was approached several times, but it appeared they couldn't care less, this was clearly NOT their problem. Worst night ever in a hotel. Never again!

I spend one of my best stay, a beautiful building and comfortable rooms despite a limited space that is quickly forgetting so much this hotel has a crazy charms! The staff are very professional and more than pleasant I would highly recommend!

The discovery of a very quiet place in the centre of this small Alsatian village is a 5-minute drive from Colmar.
You can access all the Alsatian villages known for their Christmas decorations.
A real little paradise for lovers enjoying the battisses filled with the culture of this beautiful region.
The staff are extremely nice, attentive to the clientele. The smile is always present.
The room of 3 beds certainly a little small but very clean.
It is necessary to point out the decoration resulting from the desire of the owner to discover the treasures that she brings back from her own travels (England, Morocco and others) a mixture of very pleasant style. Cosy little corners to rest after a day of ballads, games at the disposal of all and if you are careful the objects seem lively with a clean life changing position regularly such as this travelling stork puppet. In the evening under a driftwood tree and the next morning on a shelf near the reception.
A very rich breakfast catering to the tastes of all travelers European, American, English, Italian… Very fresh products, Alsatian pies and other sweets of the region.
I can only recommend this hotel to travelers who are looking for the soul of these old half-timbered battisses. He will not be able to meet the demands of the "toqués" of the architectural Ultra Modernism.

Hotel decorations very pretty, several games to kill time, very good bar service, I loved staying at this hotel!

I chose this hotel for our 4 days stay during our wine road trip as a base in Turckheim wich is nice city full of traditions. As many visitors write in their reviews hotel has charming atmosphere, very nice staff. Since first moment I fall in love with this place. It's situated in a historical center of small town, sorrounding is clean, full of flowers. Hotel has many different small stylish salons, which perfectly goes together. Rooms are clean maintain and nicely furnished. No matter that furniture and eguipment is not newest I wouldnt change anything. Hotel has a garden which is perfect for having breakfast. I missing hotel breakfast where was offered warm croissants, baguetts, local pastry, bio eggs and many other delights.

Very beautiful, clean and beautiful village surprising with its beautiful half-timbered houses. A baker is waiting for you near the hotel for a good breakfast!

Amazing old building! The surroundings are gorgeous, it's like you've travelled back in time. The staff is really nice and helpful. The breakfast is lovely and the rooms are really clean and cosy. We'd definitely come back!

It is a delightful coma site very decorated with the traditions and the local scenery. However it has the conveniences of an old hotel with the problems and inconvenience that this implies. Ideal place to set in the villages of Alsace.

Very cosy hotel with very great ambiance. Lobby has a lot of charm, rooms clean and well maintained and the size of sufficient parking right in front of the hotel, despite pedestrian zone. Only to recommend!
