What a fantastic place.
Perfect for our 2 night stay driving down to Italy.
Great parking and easy location to the old town.
The owner was very welcoming and spoke better English than we did french.
The breakfast was fantastic and plentiful.

Fabulous location! 6 minute walk from train station. 10 minute walk to old town. Historic villa recently renovated. You feel like home, 5 star hospitality and fabulous breakfast each morning!

This is a house which started out as a home on “millionaire’s row” in the early 20th century in Colmar. You are spoilt by the very large bedroom cum sitting room and very well appointed bathrooms. A lovely balcony is also attached. A good continental breakfast. Excellent location to the Old Town making it very easy to visit.

Spacious with a king size bed, wardrobe and convertible sofa. Large bathroom with stand alone tub, separate shower and two sinks.
The breakfast was minimal but fresh. Coffee machine makes everything. Hostess/owner is reserved.

We had a fabulous stay at the stately Villa Elyane. The home has been thoughtfully restored and beautifully updated — it is luxurious but also comfortable. Wonderful amenities and extras, lovely finishes, beautiful artwork throughout the house and lots of thoughtful touches. No detail has been overlooked. Our host was kind, engaging and helpful. The daily breakfast offerings were fresh, delicious and abundant. The house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, an easy 5-minute walk from the train station. We walked to the historic district several times (about 10-12 minutes) where there are lots of restaurants, cafes, shops. Wonderful stay — we highly recommend Villa Elyane!

Based on the other reviews I was looking forward to my stay here. However I suddenly became ill during my travels and needed to return home unexpectedly. I tried reaching out to the Villa Elyane to notify them of this but they never responded to my email or answered the phone regarding my situation. Instead they are charging me for all days of my booking. I could understand charging for one night, which is usually standard but charging for the entire reservation feels unfair. This experience with them not being helpful when reaching out before my reservation to notify them of my circumstance will prevent me from staying here in the future. Use caution when booking with them.

From check-in to check-out, everything was wonderful. Villa Elayne is a beautifully restored home. They owners did a wonderful job modernizing while maintaining the historic charm Beautiful and clean guest rooms. Soft towels and bedding. Lovely toiletries. The Breakfast Room is cheerful and comfortable. The breakfast options are abundant and delicious. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Check the website closely. There are more amenities here than any B&B I've ever seen. I wish we could have stayed longer.

We stayed 2 nights in 2 rooms — a larger one on the 1st floor (my daughter and I) and one on the 2nd floor (my sister). Both rooms were very spacious, cozy and immaculately clean. The bathrooms are very modern with beautiful tiles and great showers. Our larger room had 2 sinks and a large full sized tub in the center of the room — which we wish we had used (but did not get a chance to soak! ), always pressed for time. The smaller upstairs room looked out to the back, and had an exterior balcony with seating. Both rooms also had a mini fridge with some complimentary stocked drinks, and tea/coffee pot.
Florence was a wonderful host, and she was on site mid day so we could drop off our bags. The elegant villa is on a quiet street / safe neighborhood only a few blocks from the train station, making it an easy option for those travelling by train. Florence has detailed the fascinating history of the home and its former owners in a book for guests to read. The walk into the old town is an easy, scenic 10-15 minutes.
We were greeted each morning with a warm wood fire in a stove in the foyer and a most delicious breakfast, which included home jams, breads, pastries, beignets, cheese, meat, yogurt, granola, and a colorful tray of fresh fruit. The downstairs included spaces for lounging, a pool table, and lots of books to peruse. The garden had new daffodil and crocus blooms.

An excellent b & b within easy walking distance of the centre. Off street parking and very welcoming hosts. Very comfortable room and superb continental breakfast.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay with Florence in her beautiful b&b! My friend and I stayed in two rooms of the home, both of which were beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, and super comfortable. The house itself is great — gorgeous furniture, stained glass windows, and our favorite — a fireplace at the entry lounge which not only warmed us up after our days exploring the Christmas markets, but also filled the house with a pleasant aroma. Breakfast was fantastic, with tons of options — assortment of cheeses and meats, fresh fruit, tons of jams/spreads, cereal, yogurt — and of course, delicious fresh bread and pastries. Location is fantastic, a straight shoot from the station (we walked easily with our luggage) and about a 10 minute scenic walk to the city center. Thank you, Florence, for a fantastic stay!

Villa Elayne was a wonderful stay. The owners were very helpful with bikes that are available to guests and arrival before check-in. Once checked-in access to the home was keyless. The room itself was very well appointed — spacious bathroom with tub, separate shower with multiple jets, a small fridge, coffee maker. There were many amenities on site that we didn't get a chance to use (common area, spa), but we did take good advantage of the bikes available to guests and the owner was very helpful getting us set-up for this. The breakfast was hearty and delicious and the breakfast room very welcoming. It was a short walk from the train, set in a beautiful neighbourhood. The old town wasn't far (15 min walk) and it was nice to escape the old town to a quiet neighbourhood when our day was finished. I would be happy to stay here again.

Would thoroughly recommend — we stayed in room 4 with our two daughters aged 8 and 10, who shared a sofa bed. Air conditioning was very welcome in the heat, and we all enjoyed the selection of meats, cheeses, bread and local specialities at breakfast. The kids also enjoyed a game of pool in the games room, and the 'kids' space' in the basement. It was also useful having access to the washing machine and tumble dryer. The hosts were also very welcoming. The villa is also well located, being siutuated only ten minutes' walk into town along quiet residential streets.

One of the best B&B's I visited in my 45 years of travel. Unique restored Art-Nouveau villa keeping many original design elements. Friendly host caring for the guests in every possible way. Excellent breakfast, free parking on site, located in a quiet area in 10 min walking distance to Colmar city center.

This property was exactly how we expected it to be. So charming, so beautiful and so clean. One thing we didn’t expect though, we didnt expect it to be that spacious and huge which was a pleasant surprise. The room was very well appointed, the bathroom was absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful standing tub, double sinks, and amazing rain shower head with body sprayers jet were such an excellent touch. Florence made our first experience in Colmar delightful. She is very sweet and welcoming. The breakfast was fresh, scrumptious and delicious. We appreciate the fresh local produce served every morning. And the fact that we could use their laundry was a great added bonus.
The location was perfect for us. Its located in quiet neighborhood and it was an easy beautiful walk to the center of old town. We definitely would love to stay here again if we revisit Colmar in the future.
Ps: we arrived late and we were welcomed by an adorable package of Christmas cookies in our room. It was such a thoughtful gesture that we will never forget.
