Rested in Finland on new year's holidays. Wonderful country, beautiful nature. If not for the tainted impression I would put a solid 4+. Now the negative: Leaving from Villa Struka clearly during 11-00, 14-00 already I ripped off 114 euros. I had to block it because I had no idea that this cancellation is made by the owner. Now about the reasons of such behavior of the host. Leaving need to make the final cleaning or pay for it. You will be advised immediately, but the list of what is included in the cleaning is, as it turned out, in a certain folder on the site. Ever occur to you to go and read the files? I don't. My friends and I found just the book reviews wrote a good review, not knowing what a surprise is waiting for us. Before leaving we washed floors, swept, cleaned the bed, take out the trash, washed the dishes, wiped the tables, swept the bathhouse, paid for used towels… actually made a rather serious cleaning, since, in principle, are the people required, well dirt consider simply unacceptable. Now, the cleaning service, by visiting a Villa billed for 114 euros (the full cost of cleaning 160 euros) for what we 1) are not joined intended in the bath (10-15 wood) and 2) wash the toilets. In our attempts to explain that we cleaned up pretty thoroughly and just didn't know that you need to wash more bowls and refill intended us responded with silence.

Absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful cottage! The house is spacious, super clean, and well-equipped – perfect for larger groups or families. The view of the river is peaceful and stunning, and the whole place feels like a little oasis of calm.
The kitchen had everything we needed (and more! ), from cooking utensils to coffee and even small essentials like salt and toilet paper – so thoughtful! There’s also a grill on the terrace and another one in the grill hut, which was great for shared meals. Kids would love it too – there were games, toys, and plenty of space to run around.
We especially enjoyed the whirlpool and the cozy atmosphere – it’s clearly a place that’s well taken care of and loved.
To be honest, I don’t understand the few negative reviews here. They seem more like personal attacks – maybe due to cancellation policies (which are totally normal anywhere), or even because some influencer didn’t get their way. I doubt some of those people have even been there.
What I experienced was a warm, well-maintained, peaceful retreat – and I’m already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended! 💚
