You get an excellent attention from the staff, they are always aiming to help you and treat you like if you we're home. Building and rooms are modern and cozy. If you decide to stay in the hotel meal try the mushroom soup, it is the best I've ever tasted.

Great little place to stop for breakfast after an overnight train. They have a hostel but we only stopped for breakfast. Food includes bread meat cheeses, oatmeal, yogurt, coffee, tea, juice. It was about 8 euros a person. Very clean and friendly staff. I would recommended to anyone that needs a bit to eat before seeing Santa.

I love going into the city center to take a coffee or a drink in the Hostel Café Koti! Also the breakfast and lunch is really good. The atmosphere is cozy and the people are always super nice. One of the fancy design places in Rovaniemi I would say!

Best hostel in Rovaniemi! A cozy, tasty, warm attitude to the staff who is always willing to help you, even the most dumb questions. 35 Euros per night room for 10 people, clean linens, amazing décor, delicious and fresh food. I recommend that you stay there at least once, you should return there again! Thank you for your hospitality!

Wow! Nice hospitality, smiles, a small menu with delicious dishes. I suggest to ask for the main dish with different choices, served on a chopping board. Even the water can be tasted in different flavors. Do not miss this place!

Lovely place but the staff was not in a great/professional mood unfortunately. The café is definitely worth a visit because the staff is probably seasonal.

Warm and excellent services for a small price. Nice breakfast, possibility to leave your luggage before check in and after check out. Cosy bar but food (I took a salad) was horrible.

The atmosphere is very cozy and the food very good, we did half day menu with its salmon soup that was delicious and the sandwich and dinner salad of the menu, very fine and rich.

Simple rooms, all furniture from Ikea. No shampoo and no hairdryer. Dogs are treated well. The elevator is cool. Breakfast is poor.

We visited this place twice while we’ve been in the area. Once for the breakfast buffet and the second time for a dessert coffee and hot chocolate. The first visit was more by accident as it was one of the few places which served breakfast already starting at 7 and we’ve been hungry when we arrived there by train. The breakfast buffet is not fancy but the homemade bread was absolutely amazing. If you like licorice you must taste their licorice hot chocolate.

Truly perfect! Stayed 2 nights in a dorm, I have had a great experience. Enjoyed the bathroom. Loved the lunch. Cannot recommand enough!

Excellent location, very friendly staff and comfortable bedrooms. The sauna is also very nice. Definitely staying here again if we come back to Rovaniemi.

The hostel first. Great place. Nice rooms and great service. Nice and relaxed atmosphere. Cool events too. Pretty much all you can ask for. Second the café, which is brilliant. It's becoming increasingly rare to find properly good café's where they pay attention to detail, make everything in house and don't cut any corners, still maintaining a reasonable price and unpretentious attitude. This is one of those rare places. Good coffee and an outstanding selection of teas, always maticulously brewed. Varying selection of pastries, and the bread, the bread I tell you, you must buy.

One of the best accommodation experiences ever! Really nice staff, superb rooms, fresh and still cozy design, good breakfast and sauna + hot water pool at the bar! This 'hostel' beats many 4 star hotels.

For 30 euros (quite normal hostel price in Finland) I stayed in a well serviced dorm room, clean kitchen very modern rooms and nice personal. As well as I know the only hostel in town and for a monopoly a reasonable price. Best stay in Rovaniemi for travelers, that like hostels (of course rbnb could be a cheaper and better option for you).

New hostel un Rovaniemi, excellent location, low budget, nice installations, could do better with kitchen care.

Best accommodation you can get in Rovaniemi for small groups or couples. Security is good, lots of toilets and showers for dormitories although I stayed in the private standard double room, and location is prime. Airport bus stop less than 30 seconds away on the same street and bus 8 is just two lamp posts further down. I will definitely go to them again for their unique concept and value-for-money in Rovaniemi.

When I saw Cafe Koti Hostel online, I thought it was one of those bate and switch hostels, it just looked to good to be true. Then I visited it. I stayed in a shared, 10-person co-ed dorm, and have never been more pleased to share a room with strangers. The owners, two young women named Tarja and Tuulia, have dumped their hearts into this place. Their passion is obvious and its refreshing to see their staff has the same passion. From the Scandinavian design (mid century modern lovers with melt), to the cleanliness, to the food, and drink… I was blown away. I've traveled to many hostels in many countries, and I am comfortable saying that Cafe Koti Hostel is one of the finest Europe has to offer, potentially the best in all of Europe. Book your stay quickly, this place is only 1 month old (at the time I am writing this) and I anticipate word to spread fast. This is how you experience Rovaniemi!
