Beautiful hotel! Such unique decor. And outstanding staff! The lady who checked us in on 4th of March was so accommodating and pleasant. Unfortunately I didn’t get her name.

Aside from the beautiful rooms, this hotel stands out because of its staff. They all are definitely happy working there because they go out of their way to help guests and make them feel welcome. This is what I call a 6 star experience!

We stayed in the Christmas cabin and was wowed by its beauty quietness and family friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend it x.

Quite nice Hotel, right in the Center of Rovaniemi: stylish Lobby and rooms (though standard rooms are rather small with no safe).
Excellent Service and well trained staff.
Restaurant is also worth a visit, but as usual in Nordic Countries: rather expensive compared to central european Countries.

Very friendly staff, the breakfast was delicious and there were plenty of colourful options, the room was cozy but not enough pillows, as you can see in the pictures.

+printer, computer +air conditioner in room +nice music +beautiful lounge/terrace +birthday gift +coffemashine in magic room +very beautiful hotel +welcome berry shots +lady at the reception is good -guys at the reception are really bad -sauna was not offered during check in as to other guests -we were discussed at the reception desk -dirty curtains -1 set of shower utilities for two persons -slippery floor, I fell wearing offered morning shoes from hotel and have fallen very badly on the floor after shower -14 car places, partly occupied by staff, another parking further need special paper. -receptionist insisted on debit card or 50 euro because of minibar deposit instead of letting me to my paid in advance room, at the end mini bar was empty -staff discussing plans for placing tables in the evening very loud completely ignoring my time in lobby (had to listen to them and they interrupted my work and free time buy their plans discussion) -unfriendly cleaner -guys at reception completely disappointing! (both pissed me off)

5 stars — But tea — tea should be ready made at breakfast, black and green. White tea (not in a tea bag) to be prepared by oneself. However excellent Tom of Finland vodka compensated this small tea mistake.

Excellent location. Small room without wardrobe. Very clean. Very good breakfast and great restaurant.

Just love it. Friendly atmosphere with nice mocktails. Design is well suited for Lapland and service is very professional. I come to this place whenever I can and even if I compare with other places it is a good match for any design hotel. Feels the way Lapland should look for international visitors.

Excellent location, impeccable treatment, the reception people help you a lot, gives very good advice and are super Serviciables, the reservation includes getting on the sauna which is definitely worth it! The rooms have an amazing design, the lighting and the beds are super comfortable, the hotel is super well located and the breakfast buffet is very good, the prices vary a lot according to the season but although a bit pricey, it is worth 100%

Centrally located, contemporary styled hotel rooms warm and nicely decorated with light games. Very comfortable mattress and healthy breakfast, soundproof rooms. Very good indeed.

Luxe hotel met fantastische kamer. Heerlijk ruim en het bed slaap erg fijn. De sauna in de kamer is ook erg fijn na een gure dag buiten. Het ontbijt is gevarieerd en veel gezonde dingen. Enige minpuntje is de bediening die redelijk traag is met afruimen van tafels waardoor de vuile vaat de tafel bezet houdt en je tijdens het ontbijt eigenlijk geen plek hebt.

This hotel excelled in every way, location is perfect — central to the town and only 30 seconds from the number 8 bus stop (if you want to visit Santa Claus village). Room was large, bed was comfy, shower was excellent, breakfast has a large selection of fresh and healthy items and the bar has some decent beers (Icelandic Einstock and wines). But the most impressive thing about this hotel is the staff, they're all welcoming, friendly and eager to help in any way they can. If you're staying in Rovaniemi then I'd definitely recommend the Arctic light hotel.

I have traveled all over the world and stayed in many great hotels. But the Arctic Light is definitely one of the best, if not THE best! The uniqueness of it and attention to detail are just extraordinary, not to mention the impeccable service and care! I plan to come back again. It was a wonderful experience and is highly recommended!

Thanks for making my stay an extraordinary experience. From arrival until departure the staffs went beyond the call of duty to meet the needs and requests. The room was upgraded when my original was overbooked and when I made an enquiry to the reception staffs about the Nordic New Year Eve tradition of melting lead shoe horses, which I could not find to purchase in any of the stores, they informed me that they would find out if any shops had them available. Later the staffs presented me with a good bye gift bags of the shoes horses I had been looking for. Such kindness will always be remembered. Thanks. Superb service and customer service. The restaurant is excellent. The breakfast is amazing in quality and variety, the location is ideal. I highly recommend. Thanks!

Stayed here for one night in June. The hotel is very nicely decorated and the rooms are very comfortable and cosy. The hotel is dog friendly and has free parking at the back. Overall a good hotel at a reasonable price.

Room 301 an imposition, vent pipe of the kitchen next to the window, loud hum, as long as the kitchen is open. Not to relax, to think.
