For a hotel claiming 4 stars is not 4 European stars. In the standard double room there are 5 towels instead of 8, there are not even elementary bottles of water and disposable slippers. Shower and sun knot are separated only by a kleenkoj, in consequence of which taking a shower-involuntarily wash all around. Door handles stagger, and neighbors door at all did not get rusty-had to change the room. The balcony is stone and all the dirt from it flies to the room. The view is certainly great, but the stars are assigned for the service and comfort and not the views from the window.

Overall I was quite happy with my stay. Better signposting is needed to find the room location (it took a little while to find the right annex).

Hotel on the island but at the same time in the center of Savonlinna. Comfortable room, good breakfast. There is a swimming pool, sauna, wellness.

Great Spa complex. The rooms are small and the beds are poor. No doubles. Breakfast is delicious. There are many hiking trails and 10 km away. There is a ski track.

Very nice beds, the room is small, everything works, there is a kettle, but there is no fridge, but there is a large balcony and a chic view from the window, toilet shower all fine, but the room is very small, the hotel has a sauna and Turkish steam room, but very small and when Many guests then have to wait or stand, there is a small pool, but not for swimming, Jacuzzi one third is not working, breakfasts are great, nice staff ready to help in everything!

Most of the other cities bordering Finland, like Savonlinna. We stay at Spahotel Casino every time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. And also a good location. The pedestrian bridge connects with the center (3 minutes). Here you market and quay, shops, and a little to the left-the fortress (10 minutes). For those who like to take a break from the hustle and enjoy the local landscapes-the most!

Location of the hotel is very scenic, staff was very nice and always read to help. Morning breakfast was also good. Rooms were clean but my bed was a bit uncomfortable. The chef had knowledge of Indian food.

The location is great, the room is catering and the staff are very friendly. The hotel is on an island that is connected to other islands by bridges. Maybe catching a fish in the hotel.

Beautiful rooms, beautiful views, decent pool, nice restaurant and quiet. Only the hallways were a little bit older.

The hotel was built in the 60 years of the 20th century, and some of the rooms were renovated recently, located downtown, on the shore of the lake. The hotel has a small spa. By level, I would appreciate a solid 3 star, but if you take into account that there are only one five-star hotel in Finland for the whole country and that in Helsinki, this is a very good placement option.

The hotel was chosen to relax and explore the surroundings of Savonlinna. The hotel is situated on the island surrounded by the waters of lake Saimaa and trees. There is a large b/n Parking. Very close to two of the island transferred through the ducts bridges, which grows a real forest. On one of the Islands (the bigger one) illuminated at night track (and with strollers to walk). Within walking distance (5 minutes) from the hotel and a pizzeria (KotiPizza) and Hesburger. The nearest S-Market 1 km away. The hotel rooms are varied. We probably got lucky, because Our room was one of the most distant, but the view of it opened directly onto the lake, not on the patio or the city. The room is spacious with separate lounge and huge TV (easily connect and play movies from a portable drive). There was also a wide balcony with table and chairs and a door to the next room. No safe Deposit box, a wardrobe open. All is good, if not for the housekeeping, which was not. For 4 days the maid came to us only once after lunch and as we were in the room, just littering. The feast 05.11 (Saturday) and 06.11 (Sunday) hasn't been cleaned, so for three days we have accumulated a mountain of garbage. This is the biggest minus of the hotel. The disadvantages also applies to unstable operation of Wi-Fi (sometimes the device could not log in), and generally the need for continuous authorization of network devices again.

Very uncomfortable, cold rooms in the interior of the lower deck on the ferry.

A great location, and right by the lake Saimaa. Yo can even go swim in the lake from some of the rooms. A pedestrian bridge takes you to the city centre from right outside the hotel.

Great pool with hydromassages and Jacuzzi. A quiet picturesque place in the center of the city.

Yeah, maybe Spa is not very big and the rooms are not the first freshness, but all clean and tidy. And the best reason to come here is nature. The hotel stands on the island and around it there are a lot of trails with bridges between the Islands. The fortress can be reached in 10 minutes walking. The rooms overlook the lake and the track with the railroad. But at night nothing was heard.

Clean and large rooms, ok breakfast. Friendly service.
