What a fantastic location directly on the beach. You can watch the most beautiful sunset. Staff are lovely great food and drink, lovely cocktails reasonably priced. Entertainment is on some nights and reasonably good. Highly recommend.

Lost Few Gadgets and their staff said their cctv camera couldnt even reach the end of their driveway where the gadgets were.

The bar staff refused to serve us water. We also had to follow up with our food order which took a long time and they also missed half of our order.

Stayed in a double bed bedroom. Lovely, welcoming staff, cheap clean rooms with brilliant facilities including a fridge, air con, hair dryer, a safe and a kettle with plenty of complimentary items. The location is very close to a beautiful beach and only a 10 minute drive away from Nadi main town. Also, there is a free bus you can arrange to pick you up and drop you off at the airport. Would definitely stay here again.

Shein or something like that picked a fight with me when I could notnfind the room key, as I was never told would have to return it, I travel a loooot and never ever had to return that, he charged me $20
And told me I should travel more because every hotel asks

Good hotel located directly on the beach. Clean rooms, good food and an equally good price/performance ratio.

Three stars for the restaurant, I didn't stay at the hotel. The kokonda wasn't great, have had better for cheaper. The salmon was good. Basically paying for the view and being on the beach. Probably won't go back for the food.

Good time at this location. Everything on site that you need. About 1 mile of beach you can comb through and enjoy. Close to the airport as well.

It's quite good the beach and having that one mug of Fiji gold to yourself and watching the sun sets out in the mamnucas is just so beautiful.

This is the best place to come if you just want to enjoy a glass of wine by the beach. The atmosphere is amazing and the place is clean. Went on a Friday night and they had amazing cultural entertainment. The food is a little pricy and the desserts too.

I've been here 4 times over the past 10 years and this place keeps growing and getting better and better.
Always the most friendliest vibe from the staff and simply a great place to relax and unwind.

Lovely staff, certainly not pretentious but some areas of quaintness eg no face cloth supplied, unable to book meals, drinks etc to room bill. A great place to use as a Base while exploring Fiji.

Honest establishment. Doesn't try to be what it's not. Good size meals and generous drinks. Nice location over the water to see sunset.

We stayed in a standard double room for one night… + affordable resort + free pickup from airport — woke up with a puddle next to the bed with our clothes and items soaked. The AC had leaked water overnight and staff were reluctant to do anything about it. — we requested a dryer service for the items that got soaked from the leakage but dryers didn't even do a good job. — food was plain and not really worth its price. — free Wi-Fi was only available downstairs and not in the rooms.

The toilets near the reception area were stinking. A construction was going on during our visit in December, which started early in the morning. It was impossible to sleep after 6 am. The food was very basic and overpriced. The rooms were nothing like the pictures on the website. The bathroom was in a very bad shape, tiles were broken in the bathroom. There was no water pressure. The mattress was extremely bad.

Great accommodation! Comfortable, clean, friendly people and delicious food. The airport is relatively close but I couldn't remark any noise.

For a cheaper backpackers place, smugglers Cove holds up alright, the facilities are nice on the outside with a bar, deck chairs and a pool and hammocks to all use in the outside area. Inside however in the dorms, the bathrooms are a big on the small side, the mattresses are a bit hard and the furniture a bit outdated. However for a few nights on a stopover in nandi to go to the islands or before a trip home, smugglers Cove may do the trick as a low cost and cheerful backpackers resort.

Not the very first at the place, but clean, good solid kitchen and friendly staff. Total a nice hotel. Finally the new building is finished and the Belaestigung through construction work is over…

Very friendly staff! Had a great time! It is close to the airport and many fun activities near by! Also, the food is amazing! Highly recommend. Stayed four nights in the deluxe room. Didn’t stay in the dorm room. Can’t speak for them; However, we Heard great things.

Everyone here is the best, they make you feel so welcome, always have smiles on their faces, go the extra mile and even remember who you are. My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights celebrating our honeymoon and they made up a special table for us at dinner and everything! We loved it so much we ended up coming back one last night before we flew home. If I could give more stars I would!

Very helpful staff. Nice, clean rooms near the beach. Superb kitchen with a tasty menu and again, very hospitable staff. Nice bar and outside seating with nightly festivities. I'm happy I chose to stay here on my visit to Fiji. They also helped me book surf trips where they pick you up in the morning from the front door and drop you back after an awesome day on the water!

Love this place… this was a return visit. Fabulous staff, nice rooms for excellent value. Excellent restaurant & bar on site. Smal, uncrowded pool. Lots of activities. Best sunset view… amazing, low key the way Fiji should be.

Booking was done by the travel agency and included in a package to visit the smaller Fiji islands. I cannot recommend it for more than one night. Bathrooms quite old. Not the cleanest ones too. Beach is not that pretty, and there is not too much around the place to see or go. At least air con works and we got some sleep. Breakfast took ages to get and wasn't too good either. For our last night we changed booking. Compare prices first before you book and if you wish a bit of a higher standard look around for other places.

Amazing experience. Would definitely go again. It's ideal for single people and newly Weds. Not ideal place with children.

Really nice and cheap hotel/hostel with many daily activities! A good starting point for Fiji… The only weakness is the check in/check out where the things work more manually and with some delays! Other than that lovely staff, and probably some of my best moments in Fiji, while I lived there for a month!

Exotic, and affordable with great ocean view room with the sun literally setting at your back door.

Good chefs, good meal with five stars! But unfortunately, the service is only worthy of 1 or zero, the attitude of that waitress is so disappointed. They just looked like totally cannot understand what I am saying and kind of indifferently about customers. Btw, don't expect the waitress will look at you when you have order, I have no idea what they focused on.

I would give 2.5 Stars. Just Average. Worn down hotel from heavy traffic. For backpackers it great!

Great if you are travelling on a budget. Food is always nice. Nice views. Bathrooms need a minor makeover and hotwater is solar powered.

This place is proudly the best for the money. Cheap, cheerful and had a beach. Rooms are ok if not stunningly clean. Food is ok. Breakfast is a bit thin. Everyone is cheerful.

Came for dinner with workmates and u must say the meals are worth every dollar. They're huge to cater for the local appetite, fresh, tasty and the deck dining setting is awesome. Would recommend for locals for the occasional dinner outing with mates.

Food was reasonably fast and tasted great. Seats disappeared pretty quickly but the relaxed atmosphere means it was no trouble to share a table with others.

Nice & clean place, pool &activities. Staff sometimes moody, but worth a visit. Can't keep up with bamboo backpackers in my opinion.

It's alright if you need a place to sleep for s night or so before or after your going to the small islands. Beach has an awesome soft sand but the pizza we ordered had no tomato sauce on it what so ever.

The food is amazing and the dorm rooms are great. Airconditioning, lockers and clean showers. The swimmingpool is a bit dirty.

If you want to be covered with huge red flea bites for the rest of your stay in Fiji, then this is for you. When we arrived, the air conditioning in the room did not work well, but she started depending after 10min. The hotel staff in itself was not very welcoming, compared to the restaurant who was very friendly.

All in all, a good performance, the cleanliness of the shower in the bathroom is, however, a point of criticism.

Good service, great location and fairly good value. The food could have been better, lacked flavour and meat was poorly cooked. But then again it's a great spot with friendly people.

Over all a really nice experience. Smuggler's Cove is a partial hostel/nicer resort hotel. Stayed in the 34 person dorm-a little bit disgusting at times b/c of how many people were there (some/ bugs, not sure how much that could've been avoided). The staff is absolutely incredible/welcoming/friendly/helpful The 34 person dorm — cleaned daily, showers never got gross. Other friends stayed in smaller rooms, which were nicer. Food was pretty good but expensive Nadi is an ok spot The beach was fine, not super clear blue water or white sand beaches.

Great Resort, bad Service Rooms could be shared or private and experienced both and either was really good. Breakfast was just cereal and I believe there are eggs if you go early enough. Wi-Fi was slow. Location is right by the beach and has a shuttle to the airport. The staff was slow in checking people inn and were not very friendly. Tour desk was very helpful and the staff has good english. Restaurant in the hostel was decent and priced ok.

This place has it all if you don't mind sharing with cockroaches and lizards and you aren't bothered by unexplained stains on the walls and mould/mildew in showers with accompanying hairs and dirt on bathroom floors is your thing. Went with my family and decided to forego the full payment and go elsewhere. All I ask for from any accommodation, is that it is clean. "Smugglers" Cove wasn't! When I did make contact with the management (the day after), their reply was, "The main issue we wish to convey here is that you decided to check out after utilizing the room for 5hours without informing reception of any issues. " The reason it took us 5 hours to leave was that we arrived mid-afternoon and went straight down to their restaurant (which wasn't bad). Had some lunch then took a taxi to have a look around Nadi town before the shops closed. We came back, looked around the room to discover all of what I mentioned above as well as used tissues in one corner of the room. Considering the state of the room, we were not going to stay in this "establishment" even if they offered us their best room. That is why we decided to just leave. Their management has the gall to suggest that I had pre meditated intention to utilize their room for half a day without paying. That is just another example of the arrogance of the management. I have travelled the world and have only put up favourable reviews of places I've stayed. This is the first time I've been driven to be negative.

This hotel is half hotel and half hostel. I was traveling by myself so I stayed in the hostel part. I've backpacked through Europe, South America, Africa and Asia. So I have a pretty good comparison. And this was one of the nicest hostels I have been to. Right on the beach, very clean, store in the lobby in case you need anything, dinner and a fire show at night. Couldn't ask for more! It's not the ritz, but if you want a no-frills clean place at a decent price, Smuggler's is a winner.
