A wonderfully relaxing special place. My wife's 60th birthday treat for the week. Staff are awesome as is the food and service. It's not cheap but you are paying for the fact that there are very few guests and you get individual service. Cyclone Winston seriously damaged the onshore reefs so they provide premium snorkeling offshore which is a bit too challenging for some people that are not confident in deep waters there is however a small charge for this and well worth it at $25 a time. I think this should be free of charge personally All in all this is a five star resort that you will enjoy.

We've just spent four nights at Qamea as the start of our honeymoon, and we can honestly say we felt we had landed in paradise. From the incredibly warm welcome on arrival (which was perfect after our 40 hours of travelling from London), to the personal introductions as you met members of the Qamea family — we truly felt we had come home. We loved the familiarity of the staff — and the other 3 couples — as we felt so relaxed and welcome. Particularly every morning at breakfast — having people say Bula Cerys and Bula Martin with such warmth really sets the day off well! Our aim was to relax on the beach but we couldn't help but join in the activities. They were well planned so that they were only a few hours and weren't exhausting — so we got the best of both worlds. We enjoyed snorkelling and kayaking which were both incredible. And we also decided to do a refresher course for diving. Hal was brilliant at helping me particularly with my nerves and we completed the refresher successfully and even managed a shore and reef dive which were beautiful. We also ventured into the Jungle Spa for a Honeymoon Duet (full body massage and facial). These were of the highest quality and we floated back to our Bure afterwards! We loved hearing the dinner drums every lunch and dinner — as it meant amazing food was coming! Every meal was perfect and we were delighted to meet the chef's on our last day to say thank you.

Bula! (Hello! ) My husband and I recently visited Qamea for our honeymoon. The experience we had at Qamea was top-notch. Right from the start we were greeted with hugs and smiles. The people were fantastic. The Jungle Spa was one of a kind. The scenery was breathtaking. The daily activities were amazing. The food was incredible. Our accommodations were dreamy. The village tour and the waterfall tour were our favorites! Edmund will most likely be your tour guide and he was an amazing guide. We tried snorkeling for our first time ever in Fiji and we felt comfortable right from the beginning with Edmund as our guide. Another person who was amazing was Bubba. He is very talented musically and was able to serenade us every night. Salome, Mariah, and Sia are also very good at making you feel right at home. The workers at Qamea truly care about the guests. By the time we left the resort we were no longer guests, we were "family. " The experiences that we had at Qamea will forever be etched in our memories. Also, being able to learn about the Fijian culture while on vacation was spectacular as well. Like I said this resort is top-notch. A breath of fresh air. It is so relaxing. We can't wait to return to the island soon!
