As others have said the location is superb. The rooms are ok, a little small but my biggest complaint is the lack of ventilation or AC. Even with the window open the air would circulate. Breakfast was decent with some local selections. Overall a good stay.

This hotel is just inside the walled old town. It is easy to use for walking the town. It is also not in a high pedestrian / sidewalk cafe traffic area. There's a walk from the upper older area to use to return down to the hotel. Recommend to do " Old Town " then go to the up roads / ally ways to reach the church on the hill. Walk back towards the Imperial find the steps down and enter the hotel and put your feet up :) This property was recently refurbished, geat staff.

I like this hotel. Location is really good and everything works smoothly. Rooms are nice and clean.

Quite a nice hotel, good atmosphere, tasty breakfast (herring is certainly worth to try, and the coffee is good). Location is very suitable to go to old town and beyond. It’s a bit noisy outside, and the closed windows don’t help. Also, some small things in bathroom should be fixed. And the Wi-Fi is not ideal. Still, I am pretty satisfied with a choice.

Very good location near the old centre. Spacious room, bathroom a little deprived of items of necessities. Not very comfortable bed. Perfect breakfast.

There is a puppet museum near the hotel, I am very glad that I went there!

What a beautiful hotel! True craftsmanship in both wood and stone. The rooms are very nice, clean and we'll maintained. Service is excellent. Staff is professional and very helpful and knowledgeable.

Kind of old-fashioned hotel, very close to everything (Tallinn is rather small anyway). Good welcoming, nice room. Breakfast (included) with a lot of choices. A few free (for customers) parking places in front of the hotel.

Room was nice. Bed comfy. Shower clean. Breakfast was killer. Local breakfast: kefir, porridge, boiled egg, pancake with jam and 'vanilla cream'. :o) Not sure my mini fridge worked. Also, there are no travel sized soap and conditioner in the bathroom. (maybe this is an American thing? ) Location is super for exploring the old town. Also, price was very appealing.

Rooms were recently renovated and are comfy and clean, personnel is friendly. Restaurant (and Pub) was still undergoing renovations during my stay, so no review for that. Breakfast buffet is good, serving real eggs instead of scrambled eggs made from powder which is a big plus. Good location with easy access to the city center. Only negative thing I noticed is that the walls are a bit thin.

We reserved and paid for 2 nights but were relocated to the Baltic Hotel Vana Wiru when told upon our arrival that the Baltic hotel was under renovations and would be closed down. This was similar to the treatment of a previous guest's comments and therefore suspicious that this hotel lures guests to its locations then feeds them to their other property sites.

Late July 2010: We think we lucked into the best room in the house: room 305 is on a corner, and the cross ventilation with windows open was delicious in Europe's hottest summer in 40 years. The airconditiioning also worked a treat, and the room's spaciousness and elegance meant we felt like we'd won Lotto after three nights in a broom closet in St Petersburg. Staff were helpful, breakfasts generous with excellent choice, and you are right on the wall of the medieval old town, so you can't get lost! Absolute value for money — I would certainly stay there again.

Very nice hotel in the old city center. Stuff is very friendly, rooms are clean and quiet. Also, there id a good restaurant and bar. I had a very pleasant stay.
