The room is clean and spacious, featuring a comfortable double bed. The bathroom is good, but there are no amenities provided.
Unfortunately, the air conditioning lacks a dehumidification mode, which is problematic given the 70-80% humidity levels—particularly uncomfortable after a shower. Moreover, when the air conditioning is off, a cigarette smell seeps into the room, despite it being a non-smoking room. This odor likely comes from another room.
The restaurant is good, offering a variety of dishes and generous portions. However, considering the room's price, I would expect coffee or tea to be available at all times. After the included breakfast (6:30–10:00 AM), coffee becomes chargeable at 2000 FCFA.
The staff are welcoming and kind, primarily speaking Spanish, with good knowledge of French and English.
Regarding the Wi-Fi, it is capped at 2 Mbps, which is really slow and annoying, and there were occasional interruptions (three times over eight days), including one outage that lasted 24 hours.
TL;DR: Clean and spacious room with a good restaurant and friendly staff. However, issues with humidity, cigarette smell, limited amenities, paid coffee after breakfast, and slow, unreliable Wi-Fi detract from the experience.

Excellent treatment; clean and mosquito& moisture free rooms. Nice people and great location. Tasty food in the restaurant. I will always choose Ibis visiting Bata.

The staff are nice but the hotel and the rooms are old and smell of damp is everywhere.

Been here since 12 March, it's now 23 March, my room has been cleaned once and that was 7 days ago,.
I been calling them to clean it but they just do not arrive, say that this day is not for cleaning, I been using the same towels for 7 days.
They dont understand basic english.
The food we getting is definitely way below 2 star, most days it just goes back. The nternet doesn't work, the password was changed now I cant even read my emails.
Calling reception is not an option because no one understands you. Mark.
