Best place to stay if you want to surf Sunzal and relax. What makes this place so special is the people who work there. They make you feel like family and they work so hard to make your stay enjoyable. For example, when you're finished surfing, one of the employees greets you at the entranceway, stores your board, wraps you in a towel, and gives you a water. Talk about first class! Big thanks to Omar, Daniel, Bryan, David, Omar, Deily, Consuelo, Morris, Jimmy, Angel, and Blanca! P. S. Food from their restaurant is great.

The absolute best place you can stay in El Salvador on the beach. The surf break outback is called Sunzal and is a 250 yard point break great for all ability levels when surf is below six feet. Restaurant on the property has great food and you can order anything off the menu with it delivered to the pool bar which is for hotel guests only. Rooms have great views, cold ac, modern bathrooms, and comfortable beds, comforters, and pillows. What really makes this hotel so special is the staff. David, Coco, Omar, Blanca, and everyone else will make you feel like family on your stay. When my girlfriend got sick on our last day they went above and beyond to take care of her with lemon teas, chicken soup, and lots of fluids. A visiting surfer cut his foot surfing so the hotel brought in a doctor who stitched him up in a sterile environment rivaling a hospital in America. I have surfed all over Central America and Casa De Mar is my favorite hotel. If I could give it 10 stars, I would.
