I recently stayed at Casa D’OR for just over 10 days. I must say that this is one of the best boutique hotel experiences I’ve had hands-down. The owner was absolutely incredible. I felt like I was staying at a A world famous Hotel. Every single thing that we wanted was organized and there was just nothing that the Casa D’OR team would not do for us. I loved the bedrooms they were spacious and modern. Exterior was great too, we spent many days by the swimming pool bathing in the warm Egyptian sun. The breakfast was crazy. Every morning the owner and his team would rustle up a delicious homemade breakfast.
When it comes to diving this is the spot. Thomas (the owner) took us out two to three times a day, held our hands all the way. I don’t think you could ever have a better dive master than Thomas. We felt so safe deep under and had the best time of our life.
I am now proud to say I have my Open Water license. It’s just crazy out there. You stick your head under the water with a mask and it feels like you’ve suddenly arrived in paradise.
So to conclude an excellent hotel with superb service and one of the best hosts I’ve experienced. Diving I believe speaks for itself in Dahab!
