It was great! Very nice location, good breakfast, friendly staff!

For well over a week, we are back home and I would like to grab loved ones back in the suitcase. It was just great. After a very busy and fascinating Nile cruise, we were able to recover well. We were spoiled in this beautiful small Hotel really. Of course, everything is not always perfect, but damn close. Food was top. Not a huge Buffet, but everything is very tasty and also the eye was able to eat. If it's for Breakfast fresh eggs cake, I am so so happy thank you.

The third holiday in this Hotel, within 15 months before. If that doesn't says it all! It is a nice, small and lovingly hosted Hotel. We feel always at ease. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Anyone who is looking for something quiet to relax, is right here! It will not be the last stay.

This is my 6th time to stay at El-Gouna and I did spend a wonderful 5 days with my wife at Dawar El-Omda hotel for the 1st time but not going to the last for sure, room 307 have a wonderful view for the Water Lagoon, Staff was so nice & helpful everything was very Good (Room view — Daily Breakfast — Room facilities — Pool) the most important things made our trip really enjoyable : — 1 — our Room view directly on the Lagoon Room 307 (It was a free upgrade from Garden to Sea view). 2 — the Amount of relaxation you can gain daily 3 — Movie Night (Thursday in front of the Pool on a big screen we enjoyed watching a great Movie (Midnight in paris). 4 — Open Mic Night (Monday) live singer followed by open mic for guests 5 — Hotel located in El Gouna center which you can enjoy every night a walk and visit all kind of shops, restaurants & cafes. i Would Like to thank : — 1-Mr. Osama El Ashry-Rooms Division Manager without his professional support this trip was not going to happen I made a lot of emails and questions and his replies was quick and useful. 2 — Dawar El-Omda Hotel all the staff for being so helpful and friendly. i Highly Recommend it.

Great hotel, great staff, ok meals, ok prices, good facilities. Rooms are non smoking, quiet, cool. Adults only, no screaming or unruly children. Love this place.

Can you help me please to know what the meaning of adults only?! As I have an infant baby girl so is it okay to bring her with me or not?!

The place is very good and clean and children-free (which is amazing for people who don’t want so spend their vacation around screaming/crying kids). The swimming pool is so nice and it overlooks the blue lagoon. The location of the hotel is good and everything around is a walking distance. The staff is friendly and the management was flexible and easy to offer us a very late check-out. The only little thing I disliked was the repetition of music (they played an album by an Egyptian singer nonstop for several days). I recommend staying at this hotel.

Worst hotel, front office are rude, zero hygiene, Mosquitos are controlling the space, response is fair but nothing is done, zero value for money, Highly not recommended to stay unless you want to get skin diseases.

Stayed here for two weeks and the hotel is such a cozy place with great staff. The decoration of the room was really nice and very clean. Also the breakfast offers something for every taste. Even if I spend most of my time diving I really liked the pool area and the Lagoon. Also the location is perfect and the hotel is just around the corner of a lot of good restaurants, cafés and shops. I definitely will come back.

The view is stunning from most of the rooms, the stuff is nice. The hotel is near to the shops and the center of the town. The atmosphere is very relaxing. But the views in the following images cannot be seen from all of the rooms.

Hotel and family atmosphere or everyone knows themselves as a second home or it is good to relax. Nice room, good food and the musical evening of Monday with the director Veronique Lucci unforgettable.
Hotel in human size no more than 60 rooms. Recommended.

Hotel's designing is very beautiful I liked it very much. Rooms are also very nice. Good location. Swimming pool is very small but there is also lagoon where u can swimming or u can go by boat from Sultan Bey hotel to the Zeytuna Island where is bigger beach at sea. Food was little bit boring. I felt everyday was same kind of eat, even the dessert. Sometime I felt staff was very bored and they who needed entertaiment from customers not otherway around.

Excellent boutique hotel with nice decoration and infinity swimming pool. Service is great and pleasant.

The hotel is somewhat in the years, but is currently being renovated. The staff are just great. A small hotel.

A very cozy little hotel for adults only. Unfortunately at the pool due to extensive renovation works of great construction noise. Very friendly staff. The management and FTI have solved my problem perfectly.

My favorite and most romantic hotel. The building is very beautiful-a mixture of Arabic and Mediterranean style. There are many ancient Arabian things inside the interior. The staff is very polite. Good food. Lovely pool overlooking the canal. Lots of flowers and palms, I want to be photographed everywhere. On the beach free delivery by boat. Our room was 2 times with a balcony over the pool. Maybe the hotel and has some drawbacks (small bathroom, outdated plumbing), but the atmosphere and interiors-just super. We spent unforgettable days. I hope to return again.

Great cozy hotel with a nice breakfast buffet. Also easy to reach plenty of restaurants in the city by foot. There is a boat shuttle that takes you to the beach about 1-2/hour in 15 minutes.

Were in the hotel for a week. Beautiful little facility. Had only breakfast. That was fine. Staff super friendly. As usual with older hotels in Egypt, something is getting older. But when you book that, you know that.

The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The free internet is very good. Works always and reliably. Also the speed is good.
The hotel is rather small which is why we chose it for ourselves.
Breakfast is delicious.
At dinner there could be a bit more variety but you should not forget that it is a rather small hotel and therefore the buffalo is a bit more modest.
The dine around programme also offers a variety of activities.
The price-Leistungsvergältniss is good.
In our first room the shower was leaking. If you use the shower, the bathroom is completely underwater after every shower, as the shower tray is crooked and the water running down the walls is on the floor.
However, this problem was immediately corrected by a Zimmerchsel. (as already written the staff is very friendly and helpful)
Our second room was bigger, brighter with large balcony — great.
We would love to come back!

Small, country-typical hotel with perfect service and feel-good guarantee. Absolutely relaxed, private atmosphere. The food here is top. The "only" half board is a big plus for the hotel. Therefore very pleasant guests from young to old (adult hotel from 18! ). If you are hungry, you can buy snacks at an absolutely affordable price (soft drinks approx. 1, €20). Most of the rooms are facing the lagoon and the Red Sea. I think that Veronique (the manager) is Swiss and her lovable kind, reflects on the staff again. Which manager sings every week with band for his guests. Thanks for the wonderful time! Unfortunately, I only met the hotel after 10 times El Gouna. It was all the more beautiful now. Still worth mentioning is the Kater Mr. Garfield. It is really cute, well nourished, is fully accepted by the hotel, does not disturb a guest and does not harm anyone. See you!

Am a repeat offender, do not know exactly how many times I was here, in the small, nice and super friendly hotel. Also absolutely friendly and helpful staff, in all areas. I can just recommend it to anyone, even as a single traveller.

Everything is great however breakfast is. Not as same level as the hotel, it should be more delicious more fresh (especially bread) and more collection…

Its really beautiful and the Service is excellent. Nice view, old traditional and modern and a really Good breakfast.

From the pool man, door man and waiters a genuine welcome. Interested in the customer speaking Arabic, German and English. Nothing is too much trouble. Beautiful buffet breakfast with a chef ready to cook your favourite to order. Evening events including barbeque. Delicious. A place fir tourists but inclusive if longer term residents if El Gouna too. Quality can be judged by the number if guests who return many times fir the experience if a smaller quality hotel. Heated pool in Winter a bonus!

We stay here often — always a great experience with the team managed by the GM, Veronique Lusci. All the staff can not do enough for you to make sure you have a brilliant holiday in el Gouna.
On the second day of our short break we had a sandstorm! Veronique organised a trip to the el Gouna winery for us as a day by the pool was not an option in the wind and sand. Perfect day out. And we love her open Mic nights on a Monday — always a fun evening.

One of the best places where you can eat typical Egyptian food. The staff could be a little more efficient in managing many group especially when it comes to counting the number of drinks ordered…

We were already in this hotel for the second time. We felt very comfortable, were very well entertained and had a great time. We will be happy to come back. Very pleasant staff, very tasty food and very exceptional rooms. Here and there a small renovation would have to take place, the beds are a bit hard and the staff would need new uniforms. But that hasn't stopped the enjoyment. Thank you very much for the nice time. See you soon.
