Desultory at the front desk was great. He made sure we felt comfortable and assisted us with all my needs throughout my stay and was very accommodating. He is a gem and truly goes above and beyond!

Thank you to Desouky for taking such great care of us. He helped us check in early and with local sites! Highly recommend!

I'm not sure why all the negative reviews.
A basic room without a view, the air conditioning and shower worked. The breakfasts were basic but fine.
There was a very cute tabby cat aka security guard. The people who worked there were nice.
I had great food (three times) at the restaurant Kos downstairs but I think they were not connected to the hotel and relocated a couple a few days after I checked out.
A great place to stay if you want a step or two above a hostel, in the heart of downtown Cairo.

We liked the hotel from booking, and we wanted to see it for reservation. Triple room was 80 dolars for two days. However, when we arrived the hotel they said one day will be 75 dollars. I said okey I will reserve it from booking they literally said that „We have right to cancel your reservation. ” They did not accept our reservation. So we had to fine different hotel. Be careful about your reservation. Do not choose that hotel for your mental health.

The hotel looks nothing like the photos. They pushed me to cancel my reservation that I made through a third party. I ended up paying more. Bedsheets and towels are very old and very clear signs of wear and tear, yet they charge you $10 for “damage of towels”. I had water leakage in my room and when I asked to be moved to another room they simply said that all rooms have the same problem so there is no need to change rooms. Breakfast is very basic.
The location is good, it’s on a lively street with some restaurants. Staff are nice and helpful but I believe they had no option they are following what they have been instructed to do.

Located at a walking distance to the city center and cairo museum. Lots of food options and convenience stores nearby. The hotel itself is just okay. Not good, not bad. There is a fridge in the rooms. The beds are clean and comfortable, the bathroom is a bit small and I’d prefer if they updated it. Still, it is mediocre and livable. The outside of the hotel is in a dusty condition, but the rooms themselves are fine. It’s near the city center so you can’t expect it to be perfect for the price. We spent most of our time outside the rooms, so we didn’t care about it being perfect. Good for showering, sleeping, leaving. Not much interaction with the staff, but they are kind.

The made us wait for around 4 hours to not get the rooms we paid for (and telling us after we paid that they didn't have the rooms). We didn't even get for the first night the amount of rooms we paid for (we paid for 3 rooms and got only 2). The 2nd room was a disaster, dirty, toilet flush barely worked, shower head would not stay hanged (and it was next to the toilet, no separation) and the entire bathroom would flood if you shower. Super noisy. Elevator was not working the first night (would take you to a different floor than the one you chose).

AVOID THIS HOTEL.
Booked online and pre-paid three rooms. Initially, they told us that this room was only guaranteed if we paid. We confirmed we had already paid, in which they then suggested this was the wrong hotel (“another VG hotel”). We called the number on our reservation and the receptionists phone rang… “sorry, we are fully booked”

The hotel is miserable. We had booked three double rooms and one triple room and as soon as we arrived they told us that it is over booked and they put us in 2 four-bed rooms and a single room one on top of the other. The behavior of the employee is awful and ironic!
They had no place to sleep for us while we had made an official reservation at booking.
After all this they charged us much more than the reservation we had made and they did not satisfy us. Unacceptable and unprofessional behavior! It's the first time it's happened to me.

We made a reservation, we arrived, they let us wait for 30 minutes checking around and then they told us they don’t have availability. Both their own website and booking show that the room is available. This is ridiculous. After driving all through Cairo to come to this hotel.

Worst rooms I have ever seen, it’s nothing close to the pictures they have posted in booking platforms. The rooms had no window, single economy rooms are so small you can barely move around. The toilet is just a cubicle. The bedding looks so old and worn out.

Centrally located (less than 15 mins walk to the Nile), well maintained and above all, hospitable staff who go above and beyond to make you feel home.
Abraham in the front desk was professional, respectful and very accommodating.
Ibraheem, the bellman, didn’t blink a second to ensure I’ve all I need during my stay.
Again, this hotel is really clean.

It was excellent hotel and they organized for us tours to giza pyramids and Alexandria both were super nice the tour guide was very informative the car was perfect model the year their tour operator also gave us a full presentation about Egypt it was helpful and gave us the information needed to stay in Egypt The room was clean and the landry service was good breakfast was deliciousAlso good location very friendly stuff very professional managerThank you all valencia hotel team I all be back soon.

We stayed at the hotel for a total of four days. The first two days were at their deluxe suite, which was effectively two separate bedrooms and a living room: one bedroom had three single beds; a king-sided bed and a single bed were in the second bedroom. The amenities and such were fine (most notably, the washing machine), and on the whole we really enjoyed the deluxe suite, which was also quite affordable. To be honest, I'd give the deluxe suite FIVE STARS for the price. As this is located in the middle of downtown Cairo, though, you can't expect it to be quiet in the area. Moreover, the reason why this review isn't five stars is because we stayed in a different four-bedroom suite (not a deluxe suite), whose designer should have been fired for even proposing having a shower installed visible to all (and which actually leaked — I'll include a photo). My other criticism would be the cafeteria service: Paralyzed snails would outpace the speed of service, and the breakfast itself wasn't terribly appetizing. One other note: We made our reservation through booking. Com, which doesn't in fact have an accurate GPS location for the Hotel. Note, too, that the correct name of the hotel is "Valencia Hotel", not VG Hotel — which confused the taxi driver and even others in the neighbourhood.

Best hotel to stay in Cairo according to me. Really polite and cooperative staff. Rooms and bathrooms are really clean. We stayed 6 nights. Breakfast was amazing. They also have good links with to.
