My worst experience in Egypt. I have been 1 hour to avoid being overcharged in a very unfair way. I booked through booking the hotel for a price and when I arrived they wanted to make me pay 20$ more than the price for not being an Egyptian resident. I told them that in booking there was no such information, they said it was there but we opened the reservation and it was nowhere to be found. They did not want to acknowledge their failure, a 5 star Hotel does not have this lousy customer service. The guy who was at the recpetion did not help me at all. I called Booking to solve the problem and booking talked to them, Booking told them that they did not have to charge me 20$ more since it is not in their payment policy. They have remained the same, inflexible without recognizing their mistake, it was already 9 pm and I was tired as I was coming from a flight and they would not let me do the check-in. They have 5 stars but a customer service and attention of 1. I do not recommend it at all. The most unpleasant and unfair experience in my entire trip.
