Very very much a hotel. The ceiling is sagging. Bra doesn't work. The bathroom is dirty, the room is not cleaned.

Very happy with my stay in this hotel. Nicely located close to the airport with free shuttles to the airport. Big property kept very clean. Spacious rooms. Good breakfast. Would recommend.

Quick check in. Good comfortable but small room. Room service could be improved. Didn't enjoy A-La-Cart restaurant. Breakfast was very good. Excellent guest relationship representatives. Stayed there in a superior room from 8 to 10 July 2018

Near to Airport provided by Egypt Air for transit passengers. Halt should be more than 6 hours. 4 star hotel with good variety of food mostly Buffy. Allows to go to city for excursion and quick half day visit. The only bad part is one has to wait till 8 am for immigration officer to come for hotel allocation and exit.

Stayed not in the first African hotel and Egyptian is not the first. The thing is dirty. Kavrolin asks for replacements, the tables in the room are wiped yourself, the holder does not work. The price of $120 is clearly overstated. Although the bar prices are pleasant.

I enjoyed my stay at Novotel Cairo Airport. Front office team was welcoming. Guest Relation offered me Accor card. My room was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed my breakfast in the restaurant. Shuttle bus service was great. Thank you very much for all Novotel team.

Great hospitality and professional staff, they handled my checking in very carefully… the room was clean… it is considered on of the best business hotels I ever stayed at.

Please ignore previous post as Wi-Fi was sporadic and whilst rating, the post was submitted in error. Apologies to the manager. I stayed on 2 separate dates, the hotel is equipped with good facilities and the best is the free airport shuttle. I recommend staying at this hotel as traffic in the city is chaotic if you have early flights to catch. The free hotel shuttle leave every half hourly intervals. The buffet breakfast is good, also enjoyed the buffet dinner. Sparkling pool, and very accommodating managers. The new part of the hotel is very clean. Please consider refurbishing the other part as well. Thank you for the lovely stay.

The only hotel you are not allowed to receive guests. Doesn’t have public phones for room contacts, and doesn’t allow guests to call you from the desk. And Oh it feels like a comfortable jail.

Bad place, arrived at the 23rd, we were made to eat what was advanced from dinner, in the morning wake at 5, 30, even if I had the airplane at 9 ' 30

Very convenient and well maintained despite a somewhat dated character of the hallways. The rooms are very good.

A good place to stay if you're short on time, rooms are NOT NOISY even after being close to airport. There is a regular shuttle service to the airport as well and the staff is good in service.

The best… From pick up to drop off… My kids loved it especially when they were given little teddies they were thrilled. Breakfast.

The assessment can be put only comparing with the others here-no experience yet. Of the features-at the hotel to all prices a fee of 27%-carefully read the small text in the menu! At the check-in in the evening music in the café near yelling Shaw bad-do not hear what you say nothing!

Cozy, there is a gym (small, but you can do it). The food is above average compared to other hotels in Egypt. Rooms are pre-renovated and post-repair. Second, it's more enjoyable :)

Location wise is convenient if you are transiting as it’s close to Cairo Airport. Facilities wise is dated and need refurbishment which is ongoing but I would say it’s a week point. Staff need to give more attention to their guests specially during busy breakfast time. Pool is bit small but convenient. I wouldn’t come again as there are better options nearby.

It is an interesting hotel to be close to the airport. But cleanliness. Shines by his absence… As in many hotels in Cairo.

Very nice hotel with a view of the great pyramids from our room. Food is excellent, breakfast buffet is large and well stocked. Staff is friendly and helpful. Security is tight.

What is more to say? The hotel is perfect in every way. Next to the airport, you wake up and off you go.

It was a transit stay for me. It's really a great overnight stay experience for me. Full marks to location. Room is really good with some vintage feel. I loved it. Initially internet was down, but they repair it very fast. And it's speed was fast. Breakfast was really good. I can not enjoy their all un house facilities as I have not much of a time. But was a great experience staying here. A suggestion to front desk. They could offer more help to visitors. I feel it's a bit lacking there.

Practical, cozy. The room was very clean Comfortable and spacious beds.

Excellent Hotel by its position vis-à-vis the airport.

Well, the service was fine, but we faced a problem with the room, the air conditioning was set to be cold in one of the linked rooms and we couldn't turn it hot, no matter how much we tried, so a few staff members we had asked for helped switching to another linked room, for they couldn't fix It, but the new room had the same problem! I would recommend the hotel for a holiday, but not to rely on + not all the food tastes good.

Nice hotel. Friendly and respectfully personal. Location close to the airport. Rooms are big enough for a short stay. Unfortunately the general cleaning need to be improved in the rooms. This hotel is divided in two parts: one old and one new refurbished. In the new part the hotel could be considered 4 stars, but the old part, at the entrance is an average 3 stars. Now the Wi-Fi is available everywhere. Try their Turkish coffee in the lobby! :)

It felt like I came in war zone … security everywhere some guys with binoculars at the terrace and a feeling that an explosion is very likely to happen made me sleep with an eye open. Besides this. When I arrived to the restaurant at 14:00 hrs the waiter told me that I may serve myself at buffet which unfortunately had no main course food left and no one seems to care until I had to notify a passing by cook… I should mention that if you are a smoker this is your paradise! you may burn your lungs everywhere freely in open and closed spaces as well since ashtrays are available even inside the elevators…

I was the guide and accompanist of the Moroccan team. I assure you that this is the best hotel we have enjoyed our stay in Cairo.

The pool is the best. It also has a good gym and restaurant. The rooms are not good or very comfortable.

Great with affordable cost, food is good, this year was not as good as last year, but still I enjoy it.

I stayed a week at the hotel. It was nice, I had a cosy and quiet room with a comfy mattress, The room was clean. I appreciated the nice food at the buffet restaurant. Security at entrance makes you feel safe. I would totally recommend this hotel.

Horrible place, especially when u are on a long transit for a connecting flight and are being placed there on the airline's expenses. Rooms are filthy, food is old and being reheated. Lucky for me I am Caucasian and didn't have it as bad as my fellow Nigerians travelers who were being faced with the highest level of disrespect and racism up to the point of having the staff pushing away a little girl who was trying to get some food from the buffet. Also got myself grabbed at an intimate place by another staff member. Thumbs down to this establishment! Same type of scenario for the return trip in another Egyptian "5 star" hotel…

Located next to the airport, with a shuttle every 30min. We were very well received, the staff is very nice and the small care, everything was perfect. I will return.

Stayed here for one night, on an Egypt Air long layover. I don't really expect the best in such circumstances, so the hotel passed the mark, having significantly, most of the facilities and services of a standard hotel of its rank. But, I believe its an older hotel, compared to the alternative the airline offered me on my departure trip. Nevertheless, I give it 3 stars.

Too near to airport. Small rooms. Have two buildings one too old not good at all seems like 1980 other building is new looking great indoor and outdoor. Two good Swimming pool. Nice GYM. Food is very good and many variety. Service not bad.

Safety and confortante hotel.

Courteous efficient staff. Wide variety of foods, though the flavors take some getting used to. Rooms were clean very comfortable and large enough, considering the price. T. V could use some work though; most stations are in Arabic but, who wants to sit around watching TV when you're in Egypt?! Would have rated 5 but I saw a bit of grime on the bath wall. Had to look for it, but I I found it!

Excellent for the price rooms are clean and modern with basic facilities. Lobby is slightly dated and not a lot to do. But there are restaurants and a bar with friendly service at a good price. There is a shuttle to and from the airport. Pool area is very well maintained and clean. There is also a small spa. The breakfast is fresh and tasty with your regular continental and Egyptian breakfast however the tea and coffee is not the best. Staff are always friendly and helpful. All in all good for the price.

Dirty rooms with horrible smell, staff are impolite and they know nothing about how to treat their guests.

The room doesn't seem clean. Convenient but laat night had a wedding which is louder than the planes :)

Organized couple of events there. Staff are extremly friendly and supportive. Providing immediate support when needed. Food was okay and the venue itself was reasonable.

Convenient but over expensive and bad service. I only stayed for a night and service was never very helpful but it was particular bad in the end. I had just paid my the dinner from the previous night and I was about to leave but he asked me my credit card back. I handed it to him, he typed in the computer the numbers and when I asked him why he was writing down the numbers, he simply handed me back the card, looked to me and looked way.

Not so bad, but in a room on the side of the bed was sticking a nail and a little rasporol leg (

Ok … Good personal in hotel, old furniture, clean and quiet.

Very nice hotel near to the Tennis Academy where we spent a week during international junior tournament. Unfortunately the pool at this time was under reconstruction and we couldn't take advantage of full service. From the airport it is connected own bus-shuttle service that operates every half hour. A ten minute walk there is a big supermarket.
