The best view you will find in Gizeh We get the old rooms but at the moment the owner renovate the rooms which are then looking very good. Price is high for a guesthouse but you will pay for the unbelievable view direct on the Sphinx and the pyramids. Also you will save the money for the light & sound show because on the rooftop you have the best view on it.

Do not expect anything incredible from the quality and decoration of the rooms.
The main thing is that you can enjoy the view of the great pyramids even without leaving the room, and the Sphinx-in general almost "peep" to you in the Windows will be.
Of the main disadvantages: 1) Virtually all electrical outlets in a terrible condition. That is, you insert the charger and you have to hold it to be a contact.
2) The rooms have air conditioning, but the remote from all of them-in a single copy. Want to change the temperature-will have to look for attendants and ask for the remote. And after you change the temperature, you will be asked to return it:)
3) The dilapidated state of the hotel as a whole.
Total: I do not recommend for Aestets and connoisseurs of refinement.
Pros: 1) Great view from the window and from the track, allowing you to save money on payment of the evening light show on the pyramids.
2) Helpful staff.
Total: If you are willing to accept these shortcomings-welcome.

The best homely environment in Cairo with stunning views straight to The Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx with affordable B&B clean and secure accomodation. Most of the rooms are with views to the Pyramids. I love this place, it's magical and you always meet amazing and interesting travellers, scientifics, architects, etc.

呢度應該係唯一一家酒店最近又對正獅身人面像正面. 極力推介給背包客. 我喺十二月訂了六晚. 價錢超值, 雖然陳舊, 但地方牀枕都清潔, 獨立電熱水爐水不多但夠熱, 厠所沖水夠強. 只係要小心被電親, 插蘇位都太舊太鬆, 最好自己帶個多小小的一開四嘅USB拖版. 酒店的人都很友善, 除了樓下禮品店的伯伯惡一點. 在酒店內感覺很安全. 提議多付一丁點, 在網上訂有金字塔景觀的房, 及訂多一個牀位來放雜物. 酒店包簡單早餐, 還可以, 有熱飲, 麵包, 即製炒蛋及很多碟一般香港人睇到都唔會試嘅黑蚊蚊嘅地道食品. 除非不得意, 千其唔好喺酒店食晚餐. 難食之餘, 要喺景區night show 時間喺酒店天台度開餐, 十二月開羅晚餐時間天很冷得攝氏10至13度, 食凍餐仲要埋西北風, 凍到仆街. 晚餐一定要在外吃. 行一分鐘到五分鐘在外面的餐廳吃. 我不要酒店車去接機, 酒店收廿五蚊美金. 自己在機場打的去, 無講價, 卅蚊美金, 感覺自由些. 好像在早上約8點左右打的, 個半鐘到酒店. 一半車程都在Giza區塞車中. 我每天在這酒店出行都打的. 唯一是開羅的空氣超濁, 頭兩天肺很痛.

Ideal Location overlooking the pyramids. The toilet is not quite right. Very little Breakfast.

The place itself is nothing compared to other places, it's just a simple room you get in a building but, this is the best place ever to have a direct view of the Sphinx and pyramids. Others are a little thrown to the side which made me give this place 5 stars.

Great people. Great food. Gets four stars because you can sit and dine on the rooftop looking right in the eyes of the Sphinx. We also watched the nightime show from here and it was very good. Be sure to get out on the streets and smoke a water pipe.

Be meet from the heart ❣ most of the rooms are with the most fantastic view to the pyramid. The family is so friendly… this is my favourite spiritual place to meditate and do yoga at the top of the house so peaceful

Best location, 200 m from the Sphinx. Fantastic sunsets, great view of the Sound & Light Show, nice breakfast. I loved my stay there (last month)

A majestic place with a dazzling view and very kind hearts operating it.

Stay away from this place. Big problems are in store for you. Pros: Good view of pyramids, lots of charging outlets. Cons: where do I start? The owner asked us our plans for tomorrow and then he gets all of his buddies involved. His friend Abdullah takes you to the pyramids and then to all of his friends, all of them asking you for money for something trivial like taking a picture. Then he takes you to a gift shop to buy more things, then wants you to tip people and give them money. Then the owner tells us we pay 10 dollars for an evening meal. It turned out to be 20 dollars each (40 total) for a meal that looked like it was worth 5 dollars… some chicken, bread, and vegetables. They are running a classic racket, and will take advantage of your European kindess by shaking you down for money your entire stay there. The Wi-Fi sucks, the owner is dishonest, and all his little minions are there to do one thing… take money out of your wallet. Buyers beware!

This was the most incredible little hotel! I loved the people and the view! A fried back home in Boston recommended Gouda to me and I called and got a great room including breakfast all at a good deal and sat on the roof top deck face to face with the pyramids and the Sphynx — amazing.

Amazing view right in front of sphinx. The owner is so friendly. Downside, beds were quite uncomfortable… you can feel the bedsprings on your back.

Good: — The view is really great. (But I saw other comments saying that other hotels also has similar view? ) — the building is old but not really that dirty to me. Bad: — the owners kind of pushing to buy those painting. Finally we bought it and found that around triple price of outside. (cost us LE100 per painting) — also the dinner which cost us US$10 per head, it's fair in quality… — the shower really run lack of warm water really quick.

Stay here for the best view of the Pyramids! The accommodations are budget level but the view is utterly amazing! The Sphinx is right across the street and so is one of the ticket offices (the one with less touts). You can watch the sound and light show on the roof every night with arguably a better view than the people paying for the show get. The family that runs the place is very friendly and helpful too. They speak great English.

Stay away from this crap hole. Have you ever wondered why 3 of the 5 Google reviews share the same last name: Fayed? Did you know that the owner's name is Gouda Fayed? He has his children write reviews about his facility… absolutely pathetic.

Our experience at sphinx guest house was extraordinary amazing with its old and original building and the stunning view of the pyramids and sphinx that you will never find it anywhere else in the world and of course the very warmth and welcoming stuff and owner. We enjoyed every moment of our stay over there.
