We had very nice stay at the hotel, we also had very lovely and delicious dinner at Mezze Restaurant. Oriental selections with delicious taste to enjoy while overlooking the scenery of the river nile. Highly recommended ❤️❤️

We have just returned from a 3 week holiday, we stay twice a year. Lovely peaceful setting, delicious food especially in the beautiful Panorama restaurant & lovely staff. We have never come across anyone who isn’t helpful & keen to give good service. Special thanks to Wael Farouk, Yassin, Azzam, the customer services staff, everyone in the breakfast room, the waiters in the Lobby Bar, Mahmoud & the staff at pool bar, Mahmoud, Hamada & the pool staff & everyone in the Panorama Restaurant. Also our room was always beautifully clean. & Aswan is a very interesting city with a lot to see & do. We look forward to next years visits.

Stayed a couple of nights. Lovely location with great views. Helpful, thoughtful staff. Breakfast buffet was nice. Chocolate hour is a nice touch.

I absolutely LOVE the shopping experience at this Movenpick Hotel. Absolutely no hassle and a lovely cool environment to purchase all of your holiday gifts for family and friends. In particular, Onsey (lots of good quality ornaments), Ahmed (lovely leather bags and Romano (beautiful silver jewellery of European design) are fantastic. There are few places where you can buy good quality gifts like these in Aswan. I bought lots of gifts as I have done when I stayed at the hotel in 2017. Will def be back again! Thank you Movenpick for a fantastic experience.

You get to take a small boat to the resort. The rooms and amenities are very comfortable. Great beds and showers. (Very important on a 3 weeks long trip) The staff were fabulous in every way, they were so kind and helpful and completely added to the experience for being amazing. We stayed here for 3 days on our journey of 2 of the 3 of us, being a 40th birthday trip. They helped us both celebrate with amazing cakes. Wish we got to stay longer. Very much appreciated everyone we came in contact with.

There were a great hospitality, fantastic service and wonderful location, although there were some problems, there was a wise management that solve problems quickly and worked to satisfy the customer. Another thing is that there were no activities or parties for adults also there were no activities for children, but I hope to visit it again 💗💕

Fabulous hotel in a great location. Fascinating to see your vegetables being grown in the kitchen garden. Grounds beautifully maintained. Every member of staff friendly and helpful. Have visited many different locations in Egypt over the past 30 years and this hotel is probably the best. Thanks for a superb stay.

Stayed here before our Nile Cruise and loved it. The rooms are great and you will be hard pressed to find one with without a nice view. Would love to visit again and spend more time there.

Beautiful place, wonderful scene

This hotel is magical. Located on an island in the middle of the Nile. Boats take you up and down the Nile for tours or you can hop on a boat to the city.
The views are amazing! The hotel is newly renovated and clean. The manager Farouk and his staff are inviting and friendly. Highly recommended!

What a gorgeous setting for any getaway. Take your loved one and sip a beautiful drink while watching the sun set and the faluccas pass by. The rest is all pure magic!

Very satisfied to take a break in a hot day of Aswan. Don't worry about the ferry boats. They operate them 24 hours and the boat takes only 5 minutes to get to the city side. Strongly recommend this hotel. Even they prepared for us a breakfast box when we left for Abusimbel tour at 2:30am!

Beautiful hotel, fantastic restaurants, great rooms. Loved this place! In particular may we commend the manager of the terrace restaurant on the 13th floor. He was so kind and thoughtful, unfortunately we did not get his name but he was such a lovely person. He was a probably about 50ish graying hair with a mustache. If you could send us his name we would love to send a note of thanks.

Always clean always helpful and a pleasure to stay at. Clean bedding and rooms well decorated with all amenities to make you feel comfortable. If you're in aswan and in need of a place to stay. I highly recomend the Mövenpick.

Fantastic location in the middle of the Nile, huge room with wonderful views to Aswan & Tombs of the valley. Great pool.
The local travel agency left us stranded, and a manager of the hotel solved it perfectly.

An upscale hotel complex on Elephantine Island at Aswan. I restaurant on the upper level has great views and good food. The buffet on a lower level has a mixed variety of options which made it hard to choose. Regular ferries run from the town directly to the hotel grounds.

Absolutely gorgeous and clean in all corners. Impeccable service and the dining is top notch and classy. Dress is casual smart. A quiet reprieve on the island from the cacophony of noise in the city. Hotel ferry comes quicky as needed.

Very nice setting despite the famous tower that denotes a bit in the scenery. The panoramic restaurant does not live up to the expectations especially at the gastronomic level. Bad value for money on this restaurant. Otherwise very good welcome.

Well located on an island of the Nile. There are many shuttles to the city. The rooms are comfortable and large. The views are superb on the Nile. Small problem: The hot water is very long to come in the shower.

Number one is the staff. Friendly and highly professional. Knows how to make a guest feel welcome and special. Thanks for that. The hotel is well maintained (not that common in Egypt) and the staff definitely knows what he's doing. Our room is a suite of some sort. Two floors. The room is great. The view amazing and the entire island is breathtaking. Highly recommended.

This is absolutely delightful hotel. Resort is situated on island in middle of Nile away from hustle and bustle of city of Aswan. We had a room on west side with two balconies overlooking the Nile. Room was clan and spacious. View was outstanding. Staff was friendly. Best hotel we stayed in during Egypt trip. Highly recommended.

I did not house it but it disfigures the beautiful natural surroundings of Aswan…

It is an amazing place with beautiful views of the city of Aswan also in the other direction we have some burials of nobles from the Nubia region. The Falucas that crown the horizon are really beautiful. The attention the food and the setting are really to rest and to relax.

We stayed at this resort for 4 days. There are two Towers, we stayed in the newest tower. The whole resort is run down. In our room we had very old furniture and the cleaning conditions were terrible. Dust and dirt everywhere. We checked a suite in the old tower expecting to get a better room but we found courtains with stains, dust everywhere, dirty doors and old furniture. As we complaint the management agreed to offer us a second room who had a beautiful view and it was in a better condition than our initial room. Nevertheless the cleanliness was not what I have expected for a 5 star resort. Additionally, food is tasteless except from the breakfast buffet that was ok. Waiters have dirty uniforms and same dirt spots where seen in the same waiter for 3 days. In general we do not recommend to stay in this property. Very disappointing and expensive!

We have taken a villa, over $800 a night. Inadequate service at the shore level with our bags, we have to carry few of them. The receptionist is ill trained on how to receive top end customers. The villa was a smoking room, we have requested a non smoking one. The sheets on the bed wasn't changed after the previous guest left. Big villa but no iron box, when we call for one, it doesn't arrive even after 3 calls. For the money we have paid, we are completely dissatisfied.

Very friendly staff. Always leave tip is very common in Egypt.
It has nice views it is a good option to stay.

Check in time must be adjusted to 12 pm instead of 2 pm, as the time between check in and check out , is less than 24 hours, which is from enjoying the marvelous view and chilling atmosphere provided at the facility. The Kids area should be open and effective to enable the kids enjoy their stay. The food is great whether selected from the menu or at the open buffet All in all, a great experience.

New and very elegant Hotel. It has a manicured garden and the spacious rooms is with beautiful balconies where you can enjoy either sunrises or sunsets. What about I'd spend more holidays.

We first stayed in the tower hotel for a night,. That was more like a 3 stars motel… terrible with all what it means… 1 — mattress were unusable I called housekeeping to change them and was told that this is the only available (later we talked to a great manager and he changed them for us thankfully we didn't spend that night on the floor, …) 2 — rooms were not cleaned with trash in the bins and stained pillows and bed sheets 3 — cups had lipstick prints on them 4 — furniture was broken and super old and not clean 5 — restaurant was fine but food quality was average and below average,. U will find something to eat but don't expect more than 3 stars hotel quality 6 — crew and staff in general are not professional and not friendly… that it general notice starting from the front desk to housekeeping — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — then we moved to the new hotel thanks to a manager who we spoke with and he basically saved our vacation from being a great disappointment and devastating to a nice trip moving to the new hotel was totally different place, … 1 — staff are still average in professional level and expectations from a 5 stars hotel. (except the restaurant staff who were very professional and very sweet) 2 — rooms are very new and cleaner, still not very clean but at least a sky difference from the other extension 3 — food was better,.

A luxury resort on the island of elephants in the middle of the Nile. Breathtaking views, elegant and romantic. Restaurants and bars within good quality.

Beautiful hotel But the service is poor.

It's beautiful, the hotel. Very typical of that part of the world. The modern with that Arabic touch. The views from the different directions are priceless. I recommend going there.

It was a pleasure spending those magnificent 5 nights in your lovely hotel. The location is awesome, the food is so delicious, and above all the staffs are so friendly and helpful. I recommend everyone to pay this place a visit at least once in his life and I’m sure he will revisit again and again. I just have a small comment to the management that they have to keep an eye on the maintenance in the rooms since I noticed few things that needs maintenance. I’m sure they will do so.

If you are looking for a cheap getaway, Aswan is the place to be. The resort is located on an island and they have great boat service running between the island and the city. The view is fantastic and the weather pleasant, especially between winter and early summer. Wine and dine service is great with both indoor and outdoor area. Rooms are clean and big. Rent the top floors if you like more silence. The place is wheelchair accessible and staff are well trained.

All staff were friendly, very kind to all guest, Hotel location is fantastic and view from every where is amazing.
Breakfast restaurant Food was very good while the food trough room service was OK. But the food & beverage price looks very attractive and not expensive.
My staying was very short and had no enough time to go around all places. Hopefully to do in the next visit.
Just want to highlight that the old Movenpeak tower is my favorite (place since named Oboroie Aswan). Hope to be ready soon.

If you want to plunge into the history of Egypt and at the same time to have a good rest, then come and Movenpick Resort Aswan. Wonderful cuisine, great weather, green lawns and Nile will not leave you indifferent. And historical places close by.

Everything is very good: interior, service, food. I am happy that fate gave a chance to visit here.

The scenery is exquisite. Rooms are really spacious. Though the food may not good enough but in my experience the waiters did not make me pay for the dish I didn't like and were extremely polite.

It is an island in the middle of Nile River with very unique views, specislly when you be on the top of its tower at dinner, where you can see the whole of Aswan from there. Really It is one of the places you will love to visit.

Amazing place to stay in Aswan, Egypt. The hotel is located on an island with a spectacular view of the river Nile. The panorama restaurant on the 13th floor of the hotel is worth the visit. The entire city can be viewed and looks great at night. The hotel staff are very friendly and greet you with utmost grace. The rooms are very comfortable and have a balcony which overlooks the pool and the river. Stayed here for week, loved every bit of it. Would love to come back once again. Very nice hotel, clean and with large pool area usable all day until 18 pm. Staff helpful and attentive to the reception of the customer, beautiful rooms with fantastic Nile view, excellent interior restaurant with food of both Egyptian cuisine, yummy, and international cuisine. We happened in the period of Ramadan and the typical treats were great.

I found the hotel to be clean and well maintained. Beautifully situated with lovely views. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food was excellent! I would recommend this hotel anytime.

Awesome resort with great service. You will have to ride a ferry from the mainland to the island the resort is on. The ferry runs 24/7. There is free breakfast with several local pastries and dishes to choose from. Thr room has a mini bar with affordable soft drinks and beer. Most employees spoke English well and were very helpful. Beautiful views of the Nile.

The perfect place for a romantic rest.

It's a pretty cheap feeling 3 star resort hotel at best. 2 stars for major cities. The service staff has poor attitude generally. The rooms are 2-3 star quality. The bed is motel quality. They have a back room travel agency that looks like hacks and easily charges more than 10x more than actual prices.

The location is very nice. The is in an island in the Nile river. The view is amazing. Nice staff and good service.

The view from the panorama restaurant in the tower is magnificent. You don't have to stay at the hotel to go to the restaurant. I was there just before sunset and it was amazing to watch the sun set and the lights turning on everywhere in the city. They offer all kinds of drinks including cocktails. The cocktail I ordered didn't match "europian" standards, but for egyptian standards was OK I guess. They do serve food, but they always have different kinds to offer. I'm not sure if there is a schedule or not.

Great place but needs some enhancement like Cable channel is so poor, I asked for an iron but I got one since 80's. some minor enhancement would be perfect.

Super. The location on an island in the Nile, but the many mosquitos leave at night does not come to rest you. The hotel is urgently needed a renovation. All obsolete. Chairs. Old TV. The curtains in the rooms seem not washed for years have been. The only thing that is right, the service and the friendliness of the staff. Otherwise no Mövenpick Standart.

Perfect place, location is fantastic.

The hotel is amazing, the staff or the service is simply outstanding. The junior suite we lived in was more than spacious and very comfortable. Also the room was very well equipped (2 bathroom, large bed, sofa, sofa, terrace, TV (incl. German channels) good views of the opposite shore). The pool is more than clean and is located partially in the shadow very, um I to recover from the heat. The buffet is more than adequate, there is pretty much everything the heart desires! Was a nice stay, a pity only, that there is already back on the next day.
