Travellers Inn is one of my favorite places to stay in Quito when I come to Ecuador to climb. I have been a guest when arriving and departing the country on 4 of my 6 visits.

I arrived at night with a transfer arranged through the hotel. The door wasn't opened, and I had to wait for 15 minutes. Fortunately, the taxi driver didn’t leave.

We stayed here for three nights. The room was an ok size.
We didn't like the fact that the shower was separate from the toilet and basin. The shower was quite small.

We loved staying at The Yellow House in Quito. Charming older building, comfortable quiet rooms, and a nice living room area with 2 dogs and a cat.

This property was a stunning location to have as a base for my partner and I to explore Quito! It is so central and only a short fifteen minute drive to the main historic centre.

The appartment was all about "a room with a view". The view over Quito centre was incredible. The breakfast was continetial, modest.

I stayed at here on 3 different occasions while I used Quito as a base. Super friendly staff, clean and affordable rooms, great breakfast and secure parking for my motorcycle. Can’t recommend enough!

Clean, good service, and need improvement for common areas to make it more live. Transport, near alameda metro station but if have a lot of luggage taxi is the best.

Quiet, clean, in front of the tram, near good food. Good neighborhood! On the main strip, so safer to walk at night than inside Foch! Free breakfast was great! I drank an entire pot of coffee.

Excellent service only reason for 4 stars is no hot drink making facilities in the room and lack of electrical sockets.

This hidden gem in my favorite barrio. I travel a lot and I look for so much more than a clean comfortable place to stay at. I need to feel at home.

Stayed here 5 nights upon arrival in Quito from Spain and loved it here. The private room I had was clean, spacious with plenty of room to put clothes and gear out on as plenty of shelving too.

I have been in Quito for a week (just came for food and views; not staying at this hostel) and the guacamole toast I enjoyed here is in my ‘Top Five’ most delicious meals, thus far.

Stayed here on two separate occasions in January 2026 and wouldn’t choose anywhere else!

Absolutely brilliant hostel.
We stayed twice because the beds and pillows were so comfortable. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the showers were excellent with plenty of hot water.

We stayed for one night and the manager at night was so helpful and friendly with sorting out a problem we had — really appreciate your service 😊 room was also lovely and clean.

It was such a nice colonial house with vintage settings but remodeled facilities. Bed was very comfy and the beddings felt very high quality compared with other hostels I stayed.

Nice and clean rooms. Located in a busy area. Lots of stores and restaurants. Just don't go out alone after 8 pm.

This is by far the best hostel I’ve ever visited! They treat you like family — a place you never want to leave. The staf is amazing. They are all so kind and ready to help you with whatever you need.

Felt more like a home than a hostel, I wanted to stay for a couple of days and ended up staying for a week. There is a cozy living room, a great roof terrace for yoga and the kitchen is well equipped.

Our stay at the hostel was great the hostel has everything you need and more.
The service is also amazing, receptions helps you with everything.

I enjoyed the comfortable room and the location in the historic district. The light breakfast was good. Tours were available as well. The staff were kind and helpful.

I had a very pleasant stay at this warm and cozy hotel. It offers excellent value for money. Having a nice TV with Netflix was a big plus and really helped with my jet lag.

PROS: social hostel. Amenities are really good. Rooftop is an amazing place to socialize. The tours are really worth it. Staff was very friendly and helpful, specially Marta, Mayu, Mario and Irwin!

The terrace is amazing! A sheltered spot that is very quiet and has lots of different spaces to hang out. The room was massive, and the bathroom was amazing.

Modern larger rooms on the south west side of the complex, big big bed. Great value, hot water only int the shower.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. The location is great for visiting La Floresta and Carolina and you can easily get a bus or taxi to the historical centre.

The service here was brilliant — the workers are lovely and always on hand for whatever you need. The breakfasts also were brilliant with lots of choice.
