We had a great experience! We liked the size of the room. No amenities and the bathroom had a funky smell but other than that we enjoyed our stay a lot. Modern air conditioning and 2 swimming pools. We loved our porch outside our room and we had a king sized bed plus another one. Cable and hot water. Breakfast was included and it was the typical Ecuadorian continental breakfast. Recommended. Plus super close to everything!

The area that they have is nice and the garden is really beautiful, full of fruits. The breakfast is poor, only a continental breakfast, with bread, butter, marmelade, eggs and something to drink. We have to wait till they gave what they have, and you can't choose. The bathroom was with a really bad smell and the bed was with sand and with a bad smell too. Too expensive for what they deliver. You can have better things for less money.

The truth is, when I stayed here I was so verbally assaulted by the staff that I had to leave a nice review because I thought they were gonna find me and kill me in the middle of the island. I did not threaten to leave anyone a negative review… I told them I would leave an honest review. Because I wish I would have seen a truthful review before giving them my money and staying here and having this experience almost ruin my time at the Galapagos. This place had my boyfriend and I waking up covered in black beetles. I was genuinely freaked out because I was in a foreign country, far from home unsure what insects could potentially harm me. I tried to work with the staff but they were so cruel to us that we had to end up leaving the hotel and staying somewhere else. Our other hotel did not have any insect problems so I can assure you that “beetle season” doesn’t affect the entire island. It was quite hard and unfortunate that this hotel could not work with us whilst I was suffering from travelers diarrhea… all I wanted was the sleep comfortably after a long day of trying to do stuff. Another truthful remark… the rooms aren’t that nice and I would never pay that much if I would have known.

I would recommend any hotel on this island other than this one. I had a terrible experience here. Also, keep in mind that they overcharge you if you need transportation from the airport. They overcharge you if you want to do any excursions through them. They overcharge you if you want a room for a night.

I have to give this place a high rating because of the kind of service me and my wife received from the moment we arrived at the sidewalk of the hotel. Although, they were undergoing construction work but nothing unbearable. They were very accommodating to absolutely every need we have. They even got us the best price for one of the tours. The hotel is conveniently located just outside the noise on a back street but within walking distance to everything. It felt secure and tranquil. Being located in a tropical place, bugs are not unexpected, but in the 6 days we stayed, we only had one walk into our room. I would definitely return.

Nice cozy place with a good breakfast. Very nice comfortable beds and pillows (a rarety in Ecuador). Rooms don't have a balcony as announced. Everything else is great, including the rooms with a patio. Fantastic location in a quiet part of town, but still close to all that matters in Puerto Ayora.

Excellent place to stay in Puerto Ayora! This family owned hotel is very clean, safe, and comfortable. The owners (mother and daughter) are very welcoming and their attention to detail and accommodation is incredible! Would highly recommend staying here!

I was on the paradise in December de2015. And this paradise became my home thanks to this place so endearing created by this couple most endearing yet. Thanks to Yolanda and Sunday for their conversations, for their dinner, for their smiles, their hugs, and for having created this place.

One of the best things of the trip was the lodging, a thousand thanks for the care, concern, the place is very comfortable and the people are very friendly, recommended 100% to our Chilean friends and to all who are travelling to the Galapagos! A lot of love.
