A lovely spot in a very scenic area. Staff were excellent, very helpful and attentive. Room was fine — we did appreciate the open wood fire. Food very good, especially the breakfast.

We've booked at this place twice now for a total of 3 nights, and will probably stay again if we need a place in the north.

Good location and price for hotel with the Carcelen Terminal. The front gate is locked unless the attendant unlocks it. The rooms are smaller and have adequate bathrooms.

My experience at Hostal Terra was excellent. The facilities are very comfortable, ideal for resting after a day of activities. The place was always clean and well maintained.

Very secure… helpful staff… basically only Spanish.

This place was the warmest welcome we could have asked for upon arriving in Ecuador. We stumbled across La Casa del Colibri, and boy are we glad we did.

A visit to this restaurant was a real celebration!

Great place to rest your head for a very reasonable price. The caretaker is helpful and kind. The room and shower was not amazing, but it was comfortable and well worth the price.
