Excellent location across from the beach and fairly quiet. Owners speak Spanish, English, German, and French and we're very helpful regarding activities to do in the area and resources (like bike rentals). The $30 rooms with fans, tvs, and private bathrooms were clean and spacious, with hammocks out front and ocean view. There is a small well-maintained pool, community kitchen with fridge, communal dining area and cold beverages available. We give the Canoamar 12 thumbs up!

We had an amazing stay at Canoamar! Owners are super friendly and always helpful! The rooms are clean and spacious, and having a fridge in the room is a gamechanger! All the rooms have hammocks in front of them, perfect to enjoy the sea breeze. You have many restaurants in walking distance. It is the perfect stay for families and also a chill destination for backpackers!
