Terrible service in terms of events, they do not have any special services or packages. And the person who addresses customers does not have the right treatment.

A very nice place, although quite expensive both its food and distractions. I always had a good experience the times I've gone. But today they left us 2 hours and 20 minutes waiting for a table… When the initial wait was 40 min to 1 hour. We were with 4 kids and they didn't care. And they had us with 30 minutes more, and 30 more. Terrible. If they had said from the beginning that we had to wait more than 2 hours we would have gone elsewhere. In the final we went elsewhere, nicer less people and less expensive.

It is a beautiful place with excellent service and a delicious meal.

The place is nice and cosy, but the people at the reception were not kind at all (not client oriented). From the moment we started our accommodation we did not feel comfortable, due to the lack of service and unwillingness to help; it is not tourist friendly. It is also not environmental friendly, although it seems that everything is local friendly, its nothing but a facade. For example guests are not allowed to lighten it up the room chimney by themselves; someone comes into the room to lighten the chimney up with a highly toxic chemical! We would not recommend this place.

We wanted to celebrate an intimate wedding in a special place and we do not only find that but much more with you. There are No words to thank the staff of the Cottages of the Lake as it made our wedding day an unforgettable day. The menu suggested by the chef Fabio excellent, the coordination of every detail to Diego, Oscar and Daniel, the kindness of Nellicita and Pauli, walk in Tutayana with the excellent band of people that put us to dance at all and in general ALL the staff joined in with the natural beauty of the place made the perfect mix for a perfect day. Thank you for everything.

The cabin we stayed in was right on the lake, with a beautiful view! We arrived a little late so missed dinner which ended at 8pm, but were able to get a glass of wine. A massive fire was built for us in the fireplace, which was a great way to relax after a long travel day. The breakfast was delicious and included coffee and fresh juice (not included, but reasonably priced). We were disappointed we couldn't take the kayaks out, you can only enjoy the marine activities on the weekend. They did coordinate a ride from the airport for us for $60 with Freddy who was incredibly nice and also gave us rides around Otavalo the following day.

It is very nice especially for children but you have to wear warm clothes Because it is very but very cold very nice.

Don't go from 11am to 12 pm. The restaurant will only offer you ham and cheese sandwich. We order 2 capuchinos and 2 sandwiches. Completely overpriced $26! The worst part was that they were made with sweet bread, awful!

A very nice and cozy place. But the prices seem very high. A dish of mote with super small pork rinds almost $7 USD.

Great weekend getaway and have breakfast buffet on weekends when they have enough guests. So call one night in the first night to find out if there will be a buffet breakfast. Wonderful view and very good attention.

Two hours from Quito you can find a place to rest, eat the delicious traditional Ecuadorian food and get excited with the water sports offered by the Cabañas del Lago San Pablo. Close to the ponchos market in Otavalo, the beautiful waterfall of Peguche, the Condor Park. Be sure to visit this alucínate place on the shores of Lake San Pablo and at the foot of the Taita Imbabura.

Cabañas del Lago is a beautiful place to spend a family in an environment of peace and incredible nature.
The attention of the place is outstanding always going to see someone to help if needed.
In this place you can do different activities corresponding to the lake and its surroundings.

A place to disconnect a bit of stress from the city, the very good restaurant, is a mix of traditional food with a Gourmet touch, but without losing the taste of the traditional, very good cost-service ratio, the prices are a little high but it is well worth the Cost.

The cabins were so nice perched on a beautiful lake with hummingbirds galore. At night, staff put warming bottles in your bed and lit your fire. Staff was amazing. Food amazing. Scenery breathtaking. There was an earthquake the day we visited and I still love it. Perfect.

Excellent food ($$), very helpful bilingual service and excelent lake sports for entertainment. The cabins are lovely, spacious and cozy. Every night they will offer to light the fireplace for you and each person receives a hot water bag. They also haof mini holf and a rabbit farm for the little ones.

Great place to enjoy the scenic view of the lake! The hotel also provides water sports equipment for guests to rent. The food is twice more expensive than the local ones. It is built for tourists who want to enjoy a luxurious experience yet only spending a moderately high amount of money. Recommend at least stay here for lunch.

Really enjoyed my stay here. Great room and great restaurant. The staff went out of there way to find a couple items I needed.

Cozy, intimate little cabin on the lake. It has a fireplace, and you'll need it because the room a don't hit up. It gets chilly. Also, since the rooms are properly insulated, be on the look out of bugs and spiders! Cool pool area, mini golf. Breakfast was pretty good and so was dinner.

It is impossible to beat the view from this hotel's restaurant. It is right on the water. The menu has a good combination of Ecuadorian and international cuisine. Good food and beautiful presentation.

The place is nice, has many services, good food, you can also spend the night there, you can do water sports in the lake, there are water bikes and canoes, I do not recommend swimming because the water is freezing cold is not cold any more, is located near Otavalo and Ibarra, for souvenir shopping or clothes.
