Cheap hotels in Chimborazo Province

Rincon Aleman offers a relaxing, safe, green oasis in Riobamba. Both the garden and the roof terrace are great. It is a bit outside of the city center in a residential neighborhood.

Stayed one night here. The staff are friendly and the room, whilst basic was clean. I didn’t have a courtyard view, instead I looked out over the neighbours.

Very comfy, rooms are elegant and spacious bathrooms. Try to go for the rooms with a sun roof.

This is a small little cute hotel in the heart of Riobamba. I love it.

Incredible place, modern and extremely comfortable rooms, no noise at all and you can get a great rest.
Definitely 1000% recommended.

Boutique hotel that caters to your needs. Comfy, modern, clean, safe rooms and building. Attentive staff well maintained property.

The place is well located in the town and easy to get to, there was secure parking for our bikes, the food was great home cooked meals and the room was very comfortable.

We came to Guamote to see the markets and stayed in this lovely hotel.
As the Guamote is small, it's easy to walk from the hotel to everything.
The room was good, and the bed was very comfortable.

It was a nice experience, I traveled from Mexico, I stayed in La Merced Plaza Riobamba, Ecuador 🇪🇨 excellent service, very friendly, good treatment, recommended.

It is an excellent place to stay, the attention of its employees and above all the majestic view of Chimborazo… Highly recommended.

This is now my go to hotel in RIOBAMBA. Not new but has great character.

The hotel is a charming old building. Although not many of the staff spoke English, they were friendly and quick to use cell phone translation to communicate.

It was ultimately a great experience here, being there for roughly 2 weeks the staff was always caring about the rooms being made each day, and any problem they immediately tried to solve, like the

Really nicely decorated and modern looking place, not too busy during this time of year. Nice location, friendly staff, nice place to relax.

We got the bus here from Banos. The bus might take you into the town but might drop you off on the highway then it's a 25 min walk downhill to the hostal.

Friendly attention, clean rooms, rich breakfast, safe garage.

Excellent hotel, crisp rooms, everything very clean and amazing staff! It's the only hotel I go to when I'm in Riobamba, I highly recommend it. 👏🏻

I have stayed in hostels all over the world and this one meets the gold standard of giving weary travellers what they need.

Quiet, good breakfast, friendly staff, walking distance to so many sites in Riobamba. Receptionist helped me to organize a mountain biking tour. Laundry service was solid.

It is a perfect place for preparing to summit the mountain. It is super clean and the rooms are big! The view at the mountain is amazing. My and my girlfriend can 100% recommend this place.

I loved Chimborazo Basecamp Lodge!

Campo Wasi is an oasis of peace and nature close to San Andres.

Amazing place! We stayed here with our own camper van, so we didn’t sleep in the rooms but the facilities were great. Super friendly owners who built us a campfire in the evening as well.

Clean rooms, great breakfast, and Irma is a great host. Arranged tours and transportation, gave great restaurant recommendations. This is where I stay anytime I am in Riobamba. Highly recommended.

Best spot to spend the night in the whole Ecuador! The stuff is amazing, really sweet and helpful. They also know all the best spots in town to eat, do the laundry etc.
Absolutely recommend:)

Mr Ernesto is such a great person, he is welcoming and open to share with you his home.

Magical place, one of our favourites in Ecuador! The host is so kind, it's really touching. He accompanied us on the small street when we left and offered us food because we forgot ours.

This hotel is amazing!

My sister and I were excited to visit La Esperanza and words do not fully describe the wonderful time we had!

Excellent hostel! Cleanliness, very cozy order, comfortable and very friendly rooms, it is worth mentioning that it is easy to reach. Recommended 👏👍
