I really enjoy this place. Very clean … The front desk girls are wonderful in the guest services, also always smiling and happy faces, specially Laury… I can’t wait to get back!

Not too bad for $45. Suppose to be hot water but I tried twice in the evening and morning and there was none. Sometimes you have to wait and I waited. Prayers were no help… Breakfast was a winner. I could have handled the little box for a room if they had a lobby area to sit and read. Nope. It was about $20 cheaper to just show up without reservations rather book online.

Highly recommended. Wonderful and helpful and caring staff.

Excellent Hotel for tourists and business travellers, close to the city centre. Also The casino has a diversity of games and excellent service for entertainment.

It Is a simple hotel but with very good care and excellent service is opposite the PCMM next door ay a casino and a nightclub one of the best places in Santiago de los Caballero as it is a Plaza Hotel Casino and disco you can find what nesecite in that my SMO place.

Clean and attractive hotel with pleasant staff. The standard room at $50/night plus tax, was worth the price due to location and free parking. The decor and design incorporate Spanish Colonial touches with courtyards, wrought iron and colored glasses in various spots around the hotel. The inclyded breakfast buffet had a decent selection, including fruit, ham, potatoes and eggs. The coffee was strong and fresh with heated milk available for café con leche. Overall a pleasant experience.

I spent one night april 5, 2018, the hotel charged to me 25.00Us Dollars for a private taxi. When I get at the airport, the taxi driver asked me 20.00$ us dollars. For 15minute from the hotel to Saniago cibao airport. It cost tome 45.00 US$. I am so disapoint by the staff of this hotel.

It is a very good hotel, but there are some bits who have to fix it.
Example have to put a heater because the water is in a very cold temperature.

The room that I touched was ugly, you would hear the noise of the people walking down the hallway and across the front outside the hotel and down the staircase. But the breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. I would stay at this hotel again only if I were given a room upstairs where I would not hear the noise of the people passing by.

I've been here for over 10 years. The quality of the rooms have gone down a little bit but for a week stay is great. Plus they have great security. If you like the casinos it is open 24/7

Clean, friendly staff; some upgrades needed. Their chef (Simón) makes a mean Dulce de Coco horneado (sweet coconut baked)! Good if you are looking for a more simple, inexpensive kind of place.

Comfortable rooms, excellent facade, pleasant place, very attentive staff, parking, breakfast included. The material used for personal grooming is included as part of what is related to the minibar so bring your personal toiletries.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very good. Breakfast is included in the price.
The bad: The bathrooms are tiny, an overweight person would have serious difficulties to bathe or use the toilet.

Nice spot, fair price, casino, a few spots to eat eat or drink within 1-2 min walk; downtown Santiago closeby (5 min, $3 taxi).

Accommodation quite pricey for a comfort very relative. If the hotel wants to be upscale, ask for a room in the upper floors. I was in a room on the ground floor floor and humidity, the constant noise of the machines, vis-à-vis, no natural lighting, real cold…

Great place to go and relax on a traveling day, or a short stay, food is good and good service rooms are not too big but comfortable! I'd go there more often tho if there was a pool ;)

Just a place to sleep. There is a casino so there is a lot of noise around. Air Conditioners are old and not well cared. Also a bad experience when another person entered my room while I was in, not so secure.

Bathrooms are quite small and the showerheads should have better fixtures. Breakfast needs some serious improvement in general, but the place is clean, attention from staff (Kirsys, Lizbeth, Fabiola, Maritza, …) is very good and it's definitely a cheap place to stay. Keep the improvements coming…

Relación calidad precio es bueno, un hotel decente por un precio razonable, algunas habitaciones son muy pequeñas, principalmente muchas del 1er piso, el desayuno si eres de los que te hospedas por más de 1 o dos días no esperes mucha variedad.

Room very small, the closet to big and the bathroom very small 4ft x 4ft, the night service front desk you need repeat the same few time because the person (man) watching every woman get in to the lobby. I told with the lobby to don't clean my room and they don't follow instruction. Room with ac problem. TV too small. Pillow skinny need better pillow.

They let strangers in my room while I was sleeping.

What I liked the least of the site is the care that they have with the guest in the Reception area, there was no organization, and it was not a pleasant.

What an horrible place to be! PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS! Noise all floors dirty, humid, just a nasty place to be! Favor no visitar! Please do not even wast your time and money!

Very good memories brings me this hotel, enjoy very much my stay, mainly for its excellent staff.

I just loved it.
The silence at night time, a comfort bed, super clean room, super nice staff and a delicious breakfast in the morning.
That is a 5 start hotel to me.
After a long trip, and hooping from airplane to airplane, my most important requisite in a hotel is comfort, Hotel Platino have it for me.

Hotel was clean, quiet and reasonable, but staff was not the friendliest. No one smiled or offered to help me. Esp the men outside. Made me feel I had to keep looking over my shoulder.

Stay far! I do think the first opinion with 5 stars is a fake… it is simply not possible.
