Review of Ocean Blue & Sand Beach Resort 5*

Judging by the price we paid (11 days all inclusive including flight about 2000 euros) an excellent hotel. If we had paid more, like many guests, we would have been disturbed by several little things — but we like to see it. The hotel grounds are beautiful and well maintained, the animation good, the food varied. The restaurants offered a very high quality in the meat dishes. Tip: If you can't find a place in the steakhouse, you can also try another restaurant. The kitchen is the same everywhere. The room was spacious although we actually booked the "Super Saver Junior Suite". Some details that could be annoying: many rooms have an intermediate door to other rooms and are accordingly hardly soundproofed, there is a certain maintenance jam in detail (scratches on the wall, lamps have failed or hang, etc. ), the cleaning ladies are Especially motivated when you leave a small gift (in addition to the money of 2 USD per day). In addition, there was a bad habit on the beach that the reservation of chairs is tolerated by the staff. The alcoholic beverages that you get as a "standard customer" are of low quality. The food is often not what it should be according to the card: Serrano ham is rather bacon, Parmesa is normal hard cheese, the choice of the whole selection is cheap, the free wines really undrinkable (and partly stretched with water). A Frenchman or a Belgian would break the heart. ;-) The breakwaters, which many find disturbing, have not disturbed us. On the contrary, they were helpful because you could always swim on our beach section. A few more tips: the best long drinks and Cocktrails are available at Villa Marina, the smoothies in the coffee bar are very good, the pasta in the buffet restaurant is amazingly good and the one or other animation is fun when you get involved in it (e. G. Archery and Aqua aerobics).
Overall, we recovered very well. If we get a very cheap offer again, we would come back. Therefore full score.
