We stayed at NowOnyx for 5 days on a best-girlfriends trip for my birthday. I loved it here. We’re going to miss all the wonderful people we met. Everyone is so nice. The workers go Above and Beyond to make you feel at home and all with a smile. I will definitely miss our Butler Girlfriend Gabriela. She is the only female Butler and took very good care of us. We were in a Jr. Preferred Swim up in the 1st building closest to the beach. It was in the perfect location. And even though we were on the 1st floor. We could still see the ocean from our lounge chairs. The rooms were very nice, but the floors are very slippery even when just damp. I fell on many occasions even with flip flops on. Our maid Rosanna was so cheerful all the time and did a good job of keeping our room straight. She also decorated my room for my Birthday, and room service delivered the best Strawberry Shortcake for my birthday. The food at the Buffet, Bluewater grill and Capers was just so so but we could always find something on the menu. We utilized room service quite often for garlic shrimp (Preferred Menu) and other items off the regular menu. We we’re right by the main pool so there was always something to see. At 3:30 the E-Team was great at keeping us entertained. DannyBoy, Yoel, and 2 other lady servers kept the drinks flowing. My friend and I both have problems walking long distance, so anytime we needed a ride we just called the bell hops and they would take us in a cart where ever we needed to go including Breathless next door. Ivan and the rest of the Bellhops were great. The only big big downside was the seaweed problem and not being able to go in the ocean. But you can’t control Mother Nature. The guys worked hard day and night to try to keep the beach clean but it’s never ending. NowOnyx is definitely my new favorite vacation spot.
