We got here August 15, 2018. The rooms and the pool area are nice and clean. Customer service is great! Gino (Lino) very friendly, polite he makes great drinks he’s between Oceana and Seaside Grill. The steak at Seaside grill is great! David the bar by building 4 and 5 is great also very friendly. Very polite and great people. The beach has a lot of seaweed but they have chairs to relax underneath the. Sometimes is better to have the great service than the luxury. Love the place!

We had such a fun & relaxing honeymoon at Dreams! Loved the food, service was good, and entertainment staff was super fun!

Just returned from Dreams Punta Cana. The one positive thing that I will say is the wait staff, bartenders, and maids were very kind and attentive. As others said, the beach was full of seaweed which was disappointing. The worst thing was on the 5th night of our trip, our group of five ate at the Bordeaux restaurant on the resort. About 2 hrs after, 3 of us started to feel sick with GI symptoms. Our symptoms worsened and by the middle of the night I was so weak that we contacted the hotel doctor who said I needed to go to the hospital. Make sure your Visa credit card has an available balance of at least $2, 500. They wouldn’t treat me until we paid for it all up front. You also need $60 for the taxi each way. We did tell the hotel manager about our situation but was told that no one else reported getting sick that night at Bordeaux so we must’ve gotten sick elsewhere. When we checked out, we realized the hotel charged us $6 for phone calls my family made to the hospital, trying to make arrangements for my return. Needless to say, it was the most awful trip we’ve ever taken and I felt the need to warn others because in reading other reviews it seems like this is an issue at this resort! Still waiting to see how the resort will handle the situation and if they will try to make it right.
