Bavaro Hostel Hostel

Cheap, kind owners, very small, people stay just a few days, no hot water, water smels bad, shower drops down, no microwave, Wi-Fi can be reached on just half of the hostel. Next to public beach entrance.

Cute place and a great location by the beach! :D It's a good area with shops, restaurants and the staff are super helpful with everything. The hostel is small and personal, but clean, and the balcony is lovely. :) Would definitely stay here again on another visit!

I had a wonderful experience at bavaro hostel! The staff is amazing Tova and her mother are great ladies as well as all of the other workers. The place cute, tidy and I felt very safe there. The location is absolutely perfect just a couple minute walk to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants. I'll definitely stay there next time I'm in punta cana!

Water has a terrific smell.
Beds are dirty Stains stains and stains.
Fancy sleeping on Blood? There was blood on the wall. Blood that came out of splashed bed bugs. … And to enjoy things even more…
Bars under the hostel put music so loud you'll feel like you're inside the bar!

Smelly stained mattresses, awful unsanitary kitchen, water smells weird. Worst hostel I've ever been to. Pictures on the website are deceiving to say the least.

STAY AWAY! unless you're into sleeping on a smelly mattress with disgusting stains and horrible unsanitary kitchen. Really, this place shuttle be shut down. Also, we were up all night because of the very loud live music playing somewhere near the hostel. Not saying it's their fault but it's still something to consider. run for your life!

Dirty as hell BedBugs (Blood all over the matelases and black spots showing their feices) Dirty I mean just look at my pictures. Smelly water Oh and they are on top of bars so I couldn't sleep while I was beeing eaten alive by the bugs.

I stayed in the dorms. Between the stifling heat, being eaten alive by mosquitos, and the club next door, it was almost impossible to sleep. Location saves this place from a 1-star, close to markets, restaurants and the beach.

Cheap and located 3 min away from the beach.

Termites cause wood shavings to fall all over the stove and anything that is being cooked. The shower nozzle shocks you when taking shower in private room.

Good economy accommodations. Realize this is a budget option in a developing country. If hot and free potable water is a necessity maybe it's not suitable for you. Some rooms have noise from the street. It's a safe area and secure building, very close to the beach. The staff members are great, very accommodating, and knowledgeable of the area.

Is to spend the night. Much more I don't know.

Dirty and only one bathroom/toilet for the ten bed dorm. 19usd for a bunk bed with a disgusting moldy mattress is quite expensive, but at least you are close to the beach (5min). Staff is friendly, but the stoner guy didn't get our hostelbookers reservation and was kinda annoying.

The best hostel in Punta Cana! Close to the beach, great and helpful service very good prices. Definitely worth to recommend!

Great time… great staff and guests. Please add an additional bathroom to the dorm room. Peace.
