The place is cool, the hotel is nice, the staff are diligent and positive. Too bad there were seaweed, so the ocean experience is a bit overshadowed. But this has nothing to do with the hotel.

Resort was pretty decent. For what you pay for on groupon it was well worth it though. However, the reason why I am giving it 3 stars was due to the front desk people not being too nice/friendly. It was always a pain to ask for assistance and to even get checked in. I felt like they really just didn't care about our concerns. Everyone else at the resort was pretty friendly. Just expect to tip everyone… also make sure you stay on the upgraded side of the resort. There's a big difference in the way the rooms are setup and cleanliness.

This is definitely not a great vacation spot for Americans. English is practically not spoken by any staff or those vacationing. The mixed drink alcohol is 100% fake. The wine is fine — drink up! The beer is literally recycled (overflow from tap & what's left in bottle are poured down tap drain into a plastic jug) and put back into bottles and served again. Excursions are extremely lengthy due to the fact you're spending approximately 2-3 hours driving (each way) to the destination and stopping and waiting to pick up/drop off others from different hotels. Excursion time at each spot is very limited (avg. 20 min) before heading to the next spot. The beautiful blue water you see pics of on their website is falsely advertised. The water is brown, you can't even see your feet in a few inches of water. I'm not sure but maybe the beautiful blue water is seasonal. We went in June. Overall, we made the best of it. But we'll never go back.

While there were staff members who were very nice and wanted us to enjoy our vacation, there were also a few who were quite rude. We booked in the adult only area but it was under renovation and our rooms were clear aceoss the resort. When you flush the toilet, sometimes the tank refills and sometimes not. It is difficult to find toilet paper and washcloths and ice on the resort. The TV works sometimes and one night we slept with the overhead light on because the switch would not turn it off. On the bright side, the pool by our room and the one by the beach were both very nice and we met a lot of nice people.

This resort was beautiful. I would like to give special acknowledgements to Orlando at the VIP desk. He was very accommodating and made sure my visit was amazing! I also would like to thank my butler Jorge who also was amazing! Whenever I needed him he was there. They both went above and beyond what was necessary! I will definitely visit again and will recommend BE LIVE Punta Cana to my friends and family! Thank you again Orlando and Jorge!

I been in some hotels around the world but the best that I’ve ever seen is the Be Live Collection In Punta Cana. It was a great experience. The the weather is so nice, they have all kinds of food, a great pool, and a nice beach. The best thing that be live hotel in Punta Cana has is animation team, they very friendly, very nice, and they have all kinds of activities to make your day fun. Especially champagne, he is nice and a funny guy to make your day great. We wish to come back soon.

I am currently and really very very disappointed c is the third time I come to Punta Cana the first time nuturaparck at the top the second time Vista Sol very well but here for 5 days I am in a hurry to return. Hotel very noisy days and especially at night no respect CA howls in the corridors personal not smiling see aggressive towards the French especially lookéa. A salesman of the hotel m assaulted me by telling me that I should not have gone through lookea but directly by the bi live and I will be in VIP for cheaper. The low-end food restaurant has theme worse than the main cocktail plastic glass with 1cm alcohol at the bottom of the glass has less to go out the dollars to be better served with smile when at the parasols you have to get up at 6h to have one I promise I do not lie PA If you have to put the deckchairs along the buildings not to burn in the Sun. €3000 for 14 days c is the last time I come to Punta Cana as much to go to Europe for much cheaper. I go back on May 16, 2018 and very cash to leave I forgot the safe at €3 the day. We made outings with guests of the Catalonia Bavaro lookea them super happy fortunately that there are still good hotels.

I've made best friends with one of the Entertainment Staff called Champagne he looked after us all holiday and has been amazing, he's so lovely&great fun we will miss him when we leave! The hotel has been fabulous, we were upgraded to a beautiful room and given VIP bands which have been a perfect bonus. It's a gorgeous Resort and we will be back!

We have spent some wonderful days in a heavenly place. Very well taken care of by Duran, santos, Gimenez. And all the staff. The food is very good particularly in the restaurants. Impeccable in every sense. Shows, entertainment, pools, would no doubt to this same place.

For the first time in Domomenane… But I loved it, many different restaurants are very clean… Restaurants 6… Brazilian, Chinese, Mexican, etc. D. Very beautiful beach…
Eat a lot, varied, all do not try. Fresh, sweets, ice cream, fruit, seafood, meat, pizza, all this is very tasty. Very happy we planned our trip to Punta Cana. When we arrived at the hotel at check-in was somewhat delayed. Give us a room too far away from the centre of the hotel and the activities. To make matters worse in a 2nd floor apartment and we were with our daughter and raise the car was a feat since q had not elevator. When we arrived the room still was not ready, they were cleaning up. Thing q to me was not to my liking because after a 4h trip but 3h of eatanestancia in the airport to wait for q to finish the room was not what was planned. It is assumed q when you assign the room is porq this list. The service in the lobby was pesimo, I mean people q working with the check-in. When I asked the q I will change room, one of the supervisors told me q I was putting brava because I wanted to. A total lack of respect and we exchanged a few words in a tone of anger. I want to describe q is the supervisor, wear glasses. He had no hair. It was bald. Skin color cinnamon. Very rude. Not the one who assigned him the position because dealing with the customer does not know. Then we assigned another room where it was on a 3rd floor. Without elevator and with a car q was impossible to climb. My husband got very upset and claim another room downstairs. The rooms need a renovation urgently. There is a musty smell and the sheets were not clean were stained. Including the pillows. The vendors will not leave you in peace.

The hotel is very very bad, to tears… And by the way as written in response to the previous review there is a valid Moryat cockroaches. Right while you went out to sunbathe for example. Back in the room began coughing and saw a sign that my room was treated with insects. To be honest, people who liked this place no more where and never rested.

It was not like the pictures at all! The pool was dirty and the buildings need renovations or at least a new paint job. Most of bartender are not the friendliest so the drinks are done very mediocre. The rooms are paper thin walls so you can hear everything going on outside, and also not very clean especially the bathroom. The main buffet food is alright not too bad but we were really upset at the fact that the resort is suppose to have 7 other restaurant but they are by reservation only. When we went to go and try to book the reservations for our trip as we arrived there they told us that everything was booked for the next 2 days, so besides the buffet we only got to eat at 1 of the other 7 restaurant in our 3 night 4 days stay there. It just does not seem organized they should find a better scheduling so that everyone has equal opportunities to enjoy the other restaurants. The worst though is the staff around the lobby and the workers that try to sell you merchandise or excursions they are on top of you every time you pass by or even when you are just trying to relax on the beach. We just wanted to relax! … The only good part was the beach which is beautiful.

I just got back after a week here. I agree with other reviews that the check-in process was pretty lengthy and you need to take advantage of making restaurant reservations to avoid eating the buffet food 3x/day. Overall my group of 8 had tons of fun. My only complaint worth mentioning is the nightly music — during the day they played English/American music which was great, but every night was strictly Spanish music. I just wish there was some kind of mix so we could recognize a few songs and have more fun dancing. Especially considering we asked various staff members multiple nights for even one song to play.

Animation is very good, for participation in contests give prizes. Friendly, funny and kind animators, especially liked Keila. Night show worthy and interesting. Have been to this hotel 3 times. Loved.

Probably one of the worst hotels on the island. In the sea you can swim net the water there is a dereckige broth. Drinks are adulterated and therefore hardly sneezable. The food is usually cold and the same is always the same. The system is completely installed. We can often do the night not sheep due to noisy partying guests and the hotel has done nothing. … this group of hotels died for me.

A very nice resort if you like something like that. Great room, great buffet (for Americans and Europeans seasoned, so not) well maintained and clean. Good shops with reasonable prices.

It was a beautiful holiday. Just gorgeous. Best of all were the poolside bar at Sergio and the VIP pub with Pablo. (The best waiters) are now the second time here and would come back anytime.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. As they say this is a national feature of Dominicans. The food was excellent. But it is possible to organize a pleasant supper on a system of ALA-cards. 6 restaurants serve to enrich the evening meal. We liked the Brazilian and Asian restaurants more. Sunbeds on the beach is enough for everyone. And if you want to stand out you can take a Balinese bed for $10.

Not much to do. Friendly staff. VIP beach are was lacking as staff would just lay around and not attend to our drinks are see how we were doing. Had to walk up to bar are when we needed a drink. Maid service was excellent. Room service only had a few options and had to call several times to get someone to pick up. Make sure you book actives in the beginning as they may fill up and be sure the dates match when the active is happening. Spa is excellent and I recommend the pedicure and facial massage. All and all if you looking for a reasonably affordable place to stay it is not bad but not much when it comes to VIP status.

Super good place the rooms are spacious clean with coffee maker in the bottled water room all day buffet and restaurant a la carte very very good for the beach it is 3 * as there is seaweed and a lot of wind that made the sand lifted a lot of animation to the Swimming Pool and beach.

We came from Canada and the trip was amazing! Workers are super nice, fun and interactive! Beach was beautiful and food was amazing to eat! Every night there is a different show to watch as well as fun games for kids teens and adults! We will for sure come back here, never wanted to leave! Macarena and Spaghetti are super and very nice and funny.

We booked in VIP and enjoyed the service. It's a bit noisy in the hallways, but the room is clean and we have access to good restaurants.

Just stay away from looking for rest and relaxation. But if you want to party, you're right. But you don't have to fly in the Dr 10 hours, that goes cheaper and faster at the ball man.

The people at this hotel literally come looking for us on the beach to tell us that we have advantages inside the hotel. Even if we're at a nearby hotel. Tourist Trap! Nice resort, medium size, slightly dated. Staff in abundance everywhere, in general the kitchen is good and in abundance, both at the buffet and at the various restaurants. Everything was a very beautiful experience the guides for good fun the food and drink well, but what hurt me the day was that there was a boy in the VIP area of the beds facing the sea and I was incomfortable. Very daring to make proposals… They should train their male staff to not disturb the female tourists… That's just why i'll think twice before I go back. A shame.

I stayed here for a week and it was amazing the food was really good I really liked the Japanese, steak house and lobster house the staff was great entertainment was so amazing especially spaghetti who would always try have fun with the guests the resort was beautiful and the pools were super nice same with swim up bar and the beach was lovely very clean and lot of chairs the service was really good if you wanted a drink they’d make it very quickly the micheal Jackson show was a lot of fun! They did a lot of dancing on the beach every morning witch was so much fun! I’ll definitely be coming back here next March break everyone was super sweet.

Hello, we came to rest but impossible to spend a full night. Hotel not soundproof at all infested by American students totally disrespectful who spend their day at the bars of the hotel and make the Fiesta at night in their rooms. I ask them to keep quiet in the hallways at night and they mock you and make even more noise.
If you want to spend a quiet holiday, this is especially not here. Well I spend the restaurant even noisier. A shame!

The hotel is OK, The rooms are good. The staff does not give the best costumer service experience, Of course not all of them but some of them would act in a lazy way and would make you feel like they are doing you a favor when absolutely everything is being paid for! The food is good but the service at the restaurants is no good! They take for ever to get you a soda or coffee the wine is BAD! the coffee machine does Not work all the time. When people book a vacation package it is usually to celebrate something and look forward to have a great time, It is not to go some place and feel unwelcome by lazy staff who is NOT into costumer service and not very welcoming and not active. The Gym staff is fine, the recreation team is actually good but the bars, concierge and restaurant staff could be definitely effective and better! Their service is NOT free and it is their job to make the costumers have a great experience instead of having to struggle for a coffee or a soda.

Poor coordination in reception, flaws in the rooms. It is a very nice old hotel which requires some repairs. The bad, is Q these are implemented during our holiday. The place is beautiful and has entertaining activities, should improve the number of workers, are few for so many guests.

Great location and decent hotel for the price. Lots of food options, always a spot on the beach. You can walk about 10 minutes down the beach and there are no hotels just beach. It was great. Entertainment was some of the best I've seen especially the Michael Jackson show. The performer that portrayed him was amazing.

The food surplus and the drink too, cleaning service very good. Attention some of the waiters were not well attended, many handicraft sales stalls inside for each one you spend you insist on buying every day, much and the best of the hotel that promote is for VIP (those who pay more) to go to the nice part of the beach where the A is not dirty you have to get away.

Great time if you're looking for a tropical getaway. You do have to learn a few things in order to make the most of your time though: 1. Food it's freshest when a restaurant first opens, the buffet and burger joint typically have food ready and waiting when you come in, so come in when it opens to make sure your burger hasn't sat out for an hour. 2. Watch out for employees wearing tan shirts, they seem incredibly nice and want to offer you a "welcome gift" or the best food and drink. In actuality they are trying to lure you away to be pitched a 3 hour presentation about joining a time share. So unless you want to lose a quarter of your day, just tell them "no thanks". 3. Many of the prices are negotiable on tours and trips, so be sure to ask for a better price. Also if purchasing from one of the sales people on the beach, you'll need cash, so hopefully you Bright enough.

Service at the reception as incompetent as the tour guide of English Yes but only if you want, German No.
Next it goes to the pool or beach, which would get Max 1 *, but just because he is there otherwise 0!

The place is old, the rooms leave to be desired, the housekeeping will be ironed, the buffet not very varied repetitive day by day. The atmosphere very good, excellent animation, evenings are entertaining and diversified. Good for a first trip to the Dominican Republic on a low budget, the VIP is not recommended, you want a little more luxury, take another place.

The hotel is spectacular! You never get bored, it has a lot of activities at all hours, the animation is excellent.
It has a lot of pools, spread throughout the hotel, which has 17 blocks of rooms and restaurants, both free buffet and thematic. A lot of variety of meals every day the beach is extensive, although at this time there were plenty of algae, which all the days were removed PPR the hotel staff.
The best waiter you can find, you have it in the pool bar and it is called Sergio, definitely the best!
The airport is about 10-15 minutes away so it is very well located.

Be Live Hotel is a really great place for holidays. As a couple, we loved our stay here (1 week). The swimming pools are beautiful. The workers are very kind. Rooms are not perfectly clean but we accepted it for the price. The food is really great, no worries about this even if some people say it is bad. The buffet is very nice and restaurants are fine. It is very relaxing to be there, the hotel is very pleasant with many activities.

Very good value for price over the peak Christmas season. Food good to occasionally excellent, with a good buffet. A la carte dining very good, especially Brazilian. Upgraded alcohol selection with VIP upgrade. Concierge/butler service spotty. Housekeeping excellent. Rooms/public areas a bit dated, but always clean. On resort tour operators/water sports providers excellent, especially Hector in the water sports center and Gene the Machine for land tours. VIP lounge/beach area very good, although the water is quite cloudy and choppy. Seaweed cleaned daily. Souvenir shopping within walking distance. Nightclub/casino better than average AI resort fare. Overall 7.5 out of 10.

As Well As all The hotels in this Chain, it probably only makes a nice Impression visually. Zimmer didn't work Air Conditioning, it stank moist for Mold, as if it was just getting blacked over. Shower just came out of ice-cold water. The Food looked good but was all cheap quality not exactly my Taste. No Idea otherwise. Luckily I was only there For 8 Hours.

Excellent facilities, very good food. Great Staff. Drinks leave a lot to be desired by the alcohol they use. If you are not one of those who are going to get drunk until you lose your memory it is a good place to rest.

I will Tell you honestly and without exaggerations… The hotel is just a nightmare. Dirty, smells of damp everywhere and cockroaches. We Arrived at the hotel at 14.30, brought not to the main reception, on the main register all except Russian tourists. Settling in 15.00 did not want, explained that other tourists did not depart because of problems with an airplane. Okay place for all inclusive escape trip in the winter. Beech here has too many sea weeds. Their food is good and most of the staff are very friendly. One down point is there are too many time share people trying to sell you something. We did a one day trip with the hotel to Saona island on the Caribbean side which was really nice. The beach on the island is perfect and the included lunch was pretty good. Overall it's a good choice for the price.

Excellent tourist accommodation located in Cabeza de Toro de Punta Cana. Next to this there is a community of fishermen and various water parks for the delight of all, children and adults. The beach is white sand, soft, clean. The staff is very attentive and the rooms are superb. Great variety of national and international buffet.

Only Latin music. The staff is friendly. The food is normal. In a-la-card it is necessary to record at the earliest time 6-7 pm. The bar has to ask for extra rum. By default, pour the cheapest and not tasty.

Large hotel with extensive employment offers. Super service and nice staff. The food is great and the rooms generously cut.

Complex OK. Non-attentive staff seemed to disturb them, except the 5% of the others. The rooms felt damp, the air conditioning was not working, the phone either. It took us several days before we were found a room two days before we left. The beach had plenty of algae we had to walk along the beach in Bavaro to be able to have a bathable water. It must be said that the whole motor boat is on the end of the beach of Be live. In addition, they try to sell a time shearing membership, with a lot of represent, which you atta at the exit of the restaurants, disappearing that first hour in the morning not always pleasant, and it does not seem to understand the no gracias. The hotel though has 5zvezd on the international classification on them does not pull. A maximum of 4, though fairly 3 +. The staff cleaned the rooms not sitstemno as the cart would come. Refreshing drinks in Holodidnike (mini-bar) a separate story, you need to force. Gesticulating! The rooms are very smelly. Regardless of the floor. I. E. Built-in air conditioners no one cleans. When I visited this hotel I found it to be a more comfortable place than I expected, even though it is 3 stars they make you feel you paid to be within a very luxurious place, part of the satisfying experience is due to the amazing service that your employees of Pray, from the beadles to the receptionists, waiters and hotel managers are shown to your entire disposition against any inconvenience you may suffer, this is something that bears the name of this company in high, I definitely want to go back because I felt like in House and this is a feeling that I have not been able to experience in all the hotels where I am staying. Congratulations! They are an excellent tourist company.

Resort would be a five star if it weren't for the hotel staff members pushing you for a time share! Im sorry but 30minutes to an hour of my time isn't worth a tshirt… its only our second day here and we have been approached by 7 different people already. Aside from that the resort is really an amazing place to visit. Food and beaches are great. Entertainment staff does a great job keeping everyone busy. Also the resort does an amazing job keeping the adult section away from families with kids.

Have! Accustomed to this country, we always well was received but this hotel sucks sincerely. There is so much better, for an equal price… It would have been better to believe the messages and take another hotel… Short!

The hotel is good. The towels are 90 percent alive. The food is not bad, but in Russia it's better, there's a bartender in the pool. The name is Nicholas, very good location, and makes good cocktails. A Coke is not diluted, juice is not crap. Very fairly on the job. And always ready to help.

The hotel has a very nice view, the pools are nice, the food isn't bad, but the service overall is terrible! The staff including managers and everyone else are professional liars. Our check in was at 3 and we got our room at 6:30. I booked a junior suite and they wanted to give me a standard room. The restaurants are supposedly always full. They tell you that if you are VIP you have numerous benefits, well, it is a lie! Everyone who works there seems to be working without pay. They are so rude! If you are VIP you cannot enjoy the side of the beach that is standard, they make you pay! When you book you are supposed to get a bottle of champagne or other liquor, they did give it to everyone else but because they made us wait until 6:30 to give us our room, they claimed that we wouldn't receive it. They suck! They are the worst! I was stressed my entire stay. Don't even bother on booking with them!

Good location. Not without shortcomings. Big Little however numbers. Good food, drinking river. Service is unhurried. Dominicans are in a hurry.

I do not recommend this hotel. I stayed at this hotel the week of August 7, 2017. The pictures online are pictures from when the hotel was new. They are over booking and when you check in if they are over booked they will put you in the old building which smells like mold and mildew and the air conditioning do not work. They are half cleaning the rooms and do not change your sheets the whole time you are there. They over book and try and get you to upgrade to VIP which is not that great either. When we stayed there, there was so many people complaining about no air and smell. The place is also in the hood. So be careful when going outside the resort. If you stay in building numbers higher than 17 you are staying outside the resort and it is not safe. If all possible and you can afford to stay some where else I would strongly recommend it.

The hotel level is the real three.
Food, service-everything is very inexperienced. "Restaurants" don't go, it's meaningless, the same food in the main restaurant. The lobsters are not cooked, you better eat them somewhere else, on a tour, for example.
The beach is often littered with rubbish, staff not cleaning or doing this very rarely.
Be careful-Tez tour sells excursions and if you're not lucky with the weather and it's going to rain-they're going to take you out and then get you back to the hotel, deducting half the cost of the tour (Will you tell me what? ) you've already had the food purchased and the boat paid for, it's just not good for you, so it's no use in these Tezturah, take it easy on the most normal people on the beach.

Gave it a 3 out of 5 but would have been a 2 out of 5 if we didn't get lucky. Most of the people who we got to know had broken AC or other things wrong with their rooms. The food was pretty bad overall, BUT the food that is cooked fresh is good. Entertainment is good, excursions are good and we really enjoyed them. But the actual BE LIVE hotel we did not like that much. We had a good time, nothing wrong with our room, but literally everyone else we came with had multiple problems.

I stayed here for two weeks and it was everything I hoped it would be. Staff was friendly and helpful, even when guests did not speak the language. The entertainment team specifically really made the resort fun and special for everyone, kids and adults. Magic Mike, Javier, Moses, flow, and Stephanie were great at making sure the guests had fun. There was always something fun to do, volleyball, dancing, themed parties, etc. The hospitality and vibe in general was great. Randy was great in the buffet. The bartenders were hilarious and nice, especially Ramon and Sergio. The restaurants and buffet were great, with enough options you'll definitely find something you like. Our room was always clean every day. The beach area was phenomenal, we made friends from surrounding resorts and they told us that our resort had the best beach area of them all. Overall we had an amazing time and would definitely go back!

After two weeks of being at this resort, I was not ready to leave. Everybody made me feel right at home and made sure I was having a great time. Specifically, Magic Mike was one of the most friendly, caring, and hardworking people I have ever met in my life and he made my trip so much better everyday. He is also an amazing dancer and his smile is very contagious. He felt like a true friend to me and I'm sure to everybody else as well. Flow, Spaghetti, and the rest of the entertainment group did just a phenomenal job everyday. I hope we will be back soon!

Nice beach but horrible hotel. Rooms are very dirty, air conditioning did not work in the room, staff is not that nice and there's always someone on top of you trying to sell you something. Also, rooms have BED BUGS! Food is probably the worst thing ever. I went on a trip with 51 people and around 44 got food poisoning. They were sick the whole time. Do not recommend at all. Barceló hotels are A LOT better. Don't fall for the nice pictures!

My boyfriend and I booked with Vacation Express and stayed at the Be Live Resort in Punta Cana about a month ago. It was honestly the worst experience I have ever had at a resort in my life for these reasons: 1. You are solicited almost 90% of the time there. 10% is the time spent in your room. In every single spot of the hotel you're solicited whether to compete to buy excursions, buy timeshares, buy hotel activities (which were suppose to be included in the "free" activities), or goods. Once you were done convincing one person you weren't interested another person came to try to sway you. You literally have to be rude, run and ignore everyone to try to get to where you want to go. 2. The food quality was horrible — — my boyfriend had food poisoning the second night there. I'm guessing he wasn't the only one because on our last day there they had a person giving hand sanitizer to whomever was walking into eat (we hadn't see this yet on the days prior) He was sick the whole time there. Also, there's gaps in times that they close all the restaurants/snacks down so you don't have a place to get a bite to eat. Time yourself accordingly. There was one server, in the main buffet, who in the middle of us eating demanded us (not asking politely) to move from where we were sitting at an 8 seating table to a two seating… We were in the middle of eating.

Was wonderful had such a great time the waitress in the buffet area were great thanks guys. Las bori de puerto rico.

If I could put anything less than one star I would, going in I didn't expect much because of the low prices but nothing could prepare me for this, can't even get a decent drink. The ventilation in the rooms are awful, don't get pass room temperature the place in general is hot even in the open air. And the worst thing out of the whole place is the food and the service. Most of the time I would lose my appetite before I even ate. Got a couple of attitude from some of the employees for ordering drinks. I strongly dont recommend this place. Would much rather pay the extra 300 and stay else where for example Bahia Príncipe which is 30-45 minutes away. But no matter where you are the sales people will try to make you over pay for things, will start you off with high prices to see if you bite, and they always have a special.

I've retired four months ago, and after ten years without a vacation I have chosen this hotel despite of some negative comments to spend a few days of rest and relax a little, trusting in the good of people and the desire to excel, both my wife and I look forward to our first trip to the caribbean will be unforgettable and I desire that is our opinion after the same encourage others to live this first experience, thank you in advance.

Honestly the best place and time I ever been. I'm not a flyer by any means, and this was my first trip in 20 years. Single greatest time, with friends, with all the people working there, the tourists, the weather, everything for me. We went in a group of 6, did a day excursion too. There's always something to do, or being done, all over the resort, different times, doesn't matter your age, kids or none, this is the spot. We're definitely going back, and if you plan to go, please look for these 4 guys, they made our trip, Spaghetti (hype guy on resort), Mini Me (hype guy on resort), Hensel (bartender) and Jonatan (bartender). These guys smiled with us, laughed with us, keep us hella drunk, even played some basketball with me lol, danced with us, really just made a connection. I'll be looking for these guys, and pray they get promoted. Book now! Hotel Be Live.

HORRIBLE! Service was the worst! Our stay started with the wrong room, which we had to wait 24hrs until we got the one we requested and payed for. Besides that we had an incident where the server at one of the restaurant said that we were not entitled to additional drinks, because we had already ordered 3 different ones. Lastly room service was awful, we called and they said that someone would call us back to take the order, until this day we are still waiting for roomservice or at least Montero (guy's name) to take our order. If you have a chance to pick another hotel, do it! This is not even worth the time. Worst service ever!

It is a good hotel, although you need to be a five-star hotel. You have problems of organization, for example for the chekin it takes an eternity, you lose easy all afternoon or all morning. Turvan hotel a week, went with a baby of 8 months very cute and clean hotel, very good food and excellent service by all workers especially to Chef Marcelo which helped us a lot with our baby food. Also the animation team was great from morning into the night with the show especially to Juaquin by his good character and kindness with all its clients despite the hard work and the heat under the Sun was always active with all customers. The only thing that I think is missing to improve hotel is conditioners in restaurants as heat feels too, we went to several of the restaurants inside the hotel and never the feel switched on. The rooms are spacious well. It is a good place to take a holiday.

I stayed at the hotel for a week. This was definitely one of the best weeks of my life. I recommend the hotel if you want to have a quiet place to stay. They have really good and all kinds of food, don't forget to make a reservation for the "special restaurants". Drinks in the bars are a little water down, but nothing that you can't handle. The beach in front of the hotel was a little bit dirty but is okay. If you want to see a really beautiful beach, you have to go up on the island, or buy a trip to Saona Island (Totally worth it! ) In the overall, the hotel was what was written. I recommend the hotel.

A heavenly place! Great food, wonderful ocean and beach! Friendly staff. This couple is local flamingos, that we lived under the window, delighted us every day! I want to come back!

We just returned from a weeks stay in Punta Cana. It took 3 1/2 half hours to get checked in. It seemed the staff was incompetent and came across as ambivolent. It took multiple requests and 3 days just to get hand towels and face cloths. We never could get an ice bucket. Service in the restaurants was slow and again the wait staff seemed like they could care less. Getting a glass of water was a real challenge. The food in general was mediocre. The best was the fruit at the breakfast buffet. The tour we booked at the hotel was poor at best. The bus was small and uncomfortable and the guide was not that proficient in English to where he would explain things. We will never return to this resort, the best thing about the trip was the weather — period. We have also submitted a review with Interval International.

Where should I start! In the Hotel arrived, there was already Communication difculties. Most of the employees were no or broken English what can you expect at an "International" Hotel. My friend had paid$ 400 for a sea view and he did NOT get and he has changed rooms, and again to $ 100, in addition, had to pay for, well, probably a view of the sea. But that was not all! The hotel we will charm, we liked the attention, very friendly staff, and the group animation was great, it is ideal for a family. The only drawback that we had was of great displeasure, and we are evaluating inniciar legal action, was that when leaving the hotel as we hadn't hired a taxi from the stand at the door of the hotel (who are in collusion with the hotel and are carisimos) we lowered the barrier of entry and a group of taxitas hotel is placed in front of the truck that we had taken and we were not allowed to leave. I had the pleasure of visiting this resort in April of 2014, it just so happened that I celebrated my birthday during my stay (which I celebrated with lot of warmth). My status as a guest was standard (there are vip). 1° — food: the same turned out to be excellent, with variety and quality, the dining room is a spacious place where you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner with a masterclass on the part of the young men (walking on all sides seeing if we need drink). I was a pleasant stay of 5 days, from the 23rd August to the 27th August 2015. It is not a luxurious hotel, but it is nice. The spaces are well distributed, the restaurants, the bars, the rooms, the pools. The food is very good and there is a lot of variety, but the breakfast and the snack bar are a bit poor. The drinks are made with Liqueurs, tequilas and rums are good, so the drinks are of good quality. The room was very spacious, very comfortable, air conditioning good, all good. Animation, entertainment, service staff, the theatre, the disc, the karaoke is excellent. There are 3 points that should be improved: 1 — The process of Check In/Out is very long, and it takes up to 2 hours for check-in. 2 — The breakfast and the snack bars do not have variety, and there are not many options to choose from. Another observation would be: In the snack bar, they serve rice with string bean hours of the morning. And finally 3 — Is the selection of music that the DJ for the animations in the pool, beach and disco. In general the relationship of price vs. Quality, where quality exceeds the price.

Staff did not speak good English BUT the attempt to assist was excellent! The food was gross! What you are not told us that you need a reservation in advance to eat at the specialty restaurants. IF you do go it's the same slop as in the buffet house just a different presentation. All inclusive BOTTOM shelf liquor except in the lobby bar. The room had ants… I had bite marks to show! The beach was poorly kept! My girlfriend was celebrating her birthday and she never got the "welcome" gift as stated on the website. I could not wait to get home this was the WORST vacation ever! Save your money!

Hello, I wanted to comment that our family is very happy with the care that you provided to us in the hotel, mainly the miss Chacata and Mabel some of the cheerleaders that we got a lot of help and joy mainly to my girl in all the stay in the hotel, we are very grateful for all the attention, I believe that soon we will see.

Well I went to that hotel and I don't like myself for anything, except for the treatment of people who are good… But in the service of the hotel pesimoo… they Last a long to deliver the room. We were a week ago. We will not return, nor recommend it. Although it was not an experience traumatica, had major flaws. Siege of vendors of all kinds, on the beach and within the resort. Awful! Don't "Be Live" the hype. Rooms are awful. We had bugs in our shower, leaking air vent. The 1st room refrigerator was broken. Mildew on shower curtain. Paint and glue all over the walls and bugs got in it so they are on the wall as well. We had key issues and had to walk to the desk 3 times because no one would walk down to assist us. Buffet is not the best. The same food everyday. The entertainment was probably the best. Became very tired of persons trying to sell u something at every minute which made the trip unenjoyable. The drivers over here drive so fast and it is unsafe. Be aware of excursions many do not practice safety. And whatever time they tell you the trip will last add 2 hours to it. We NEVER stay here again! Don't believe the pictures on the internet. The resort is nothing like the pics.

It is a hotel that has just changed owners and management, has a great potential for its infrastructure and personnel involved. Obviously you have a couple of points to improve that are very important, as the cleanliness of the rooms, as the mu beds must understand that it is not enough just to make the beds but you have to really clean everywhere, under the beds, the bathrooms, etc. Another point that should be improved is the planning of the Maintenance of the rooms, this would be changing guest rooms. Clearly this is a legacy of the previous administration. The most important thing is to find a satisfactory answer to the problems, as I found with the sr Wilkins, manager of relationship is public of the hotel, who greeted us kindly and helped us to resolve issues that had been presented. Highlights are the sr Medina and Sr Vi is called from the main kitchen, who always and with the best will in the world we prepared special food for our baby who has food allergies, a liking for people and service. Also noteworthy is the variety of food, the brazilian restaurant, the gourmet restaurant. My friend and I went to Punta Cana for our Birthdays. The food was good and the VIP room, beach and service was awesome! The Public Relations Agent was amazing! He upgraded us to a VIP room and was so concerned that our stay was everything we expected. Thanks to him, we had a fabulous time and I will definitely be coming back again:)

Horrible place! Like some of the previous reviews, check in was horrible. They told me they had to call housekeeping. I got to the hotel at 3:30, check out is noon. Why isn't the room clean. The room I ended up getting was bull****! Smelled horrible, leaking in the bathroom, pillow cases were mildewy. I didn't have an towels, every time I asked, they told me 5 minutes, also no iron it took them 2 days to brine an iron. The staff was very rude. The best part of my trip was meeting a terrific couple. Staying here would be a waist of money!

Very bad stay, after our vacation in Miami we come to this that is far from being a resort, bad care, bad neat places, in the hallways looked dirty laundry of bed that the staff toilet not retired, the beach is extremely dirty. Yes, it's a good deal. Don't waste your money though. Where do I start? BED BUGS! Got a junior suite upgrade. Didn't help. Room smelled of dry water. Yes it was spacious but that didn't take away from the poor service provided. This resort is only cares about making reservations. Even though there were several options for food. It became really old and tired. Got a junior suite which was on block 15. When your room key doesn't randomly work it's a walk to get it fixed. Pools were filthy. Had a family walk into my room while naked with their own KEY! Complain about phone not working for 4 days straight and was always told "someone is coming". Doctor on site had an attitude out of this world. Even though their "all-inclusive" doesn't mean it. Drinks are shitty. The men who worked there was sketchy. The guys in pink shirts selling excursions were perverts. Not forgetting the room was haunted. Wore flip flops to shower with. The place was just straight up dirty. Only place the food was good was Brazilian and Italian. Otherwise be prepared to eat recycled food from breakfast and lunch. All in all spent the few extra dollars and get a decent resort. BELIVE PUNTA CANA should be shut down! P. S. The beach was no beach. Beach of seaweed. And there was constant construction.

Were in September 2014, I agree the food is good, 5 stars as 3 pulls high, with us guys flew with Belarus they really were at the Hotel Riu they got 4 stars Yes they are free, we also stole 30 bucks from jeans pulled, well that 900 spent already at the end of the drive.

We were a group of 05 couples from 27 may to 02 June and had a good time, I think that this is targeted to couples or single people. It is more I do not remember to have seen children often. I recommend it if you want to disconnect from the world xq no Wi-Fi or reception.

I've had the experience more horrible of my life. I have visited Europe several times and several US state. We have been to Disney 6 times with the holidays most beautiful of our life… but what we have experienced from 8 to 12 June 2015 has been a nightmare! From the check-in that lasted 3 hours, the door to the room did not close, the acondidiionador of the air was not working, no hot water in the shower, roof leaks, clogged toilet, the drawers of the cabinets, not hospital, the phone was not working, room buffet with heat unbearable, the food in the mexican restaurant was damaged and by little I poison the babes and to finish I leave my cellular in that restaurant and I lost with most of the photos of the Senior Trip for my daughter… imagine that I've cried… I would not want anyone to go through an experience like this… ahh, and all reported many times without solving ANYTHING! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT!

Was in November 2014, the food is excellent, service is so-so, steal a lot, but after going to beg the protection of all returned, apparently they participated.

I do not stole but many cases of theft in the hotel, careful with that therefore I do not recommend to leave things of value to the exit, all the safe. Sellers both in the hotel and on the beach you crazy, persecute you on all sides. The food and drink is good and never lacking anything, the animation of the best. For a little more you can go to the chain Riu or Iberostar and note the difference.

The resort was very nice, but we had a 4 hr wait in customs at the airport and the locals were pushy trying to sell souvenirs and excursions. Be prepared to be annoyed by some of the locals, even near the resort. Food was good. Weather awesome. Scenery and people, for the most part, very enjoyable.

Very bad service in my opinion. The beach was very unappealing if you are looking for a resort with a great beach look more towards the punta cana resorts or bavaro, cabeza de toro is not a good area. When I first arrived to my room it smelled terrible and it had bugs everywhere and I had a very bad vacation at this hotel and I did not enjoy.

All the rooms are bland. And the air conditioner does not get colder then 76. There is mold on the shower curtains. And all the bathroom ceilings leak in the bathroom. Which is cool cuz after you get diarrhea from the food it's refreshing to get dripped on while your in there. The rooms also smell like mold. The buffet is pretty bad as far as buffets go there isn't much of a selection and anything wroth getting Like chicken bacon a burger or any other meat you need to wait in an endless line as they make them fresh. They also have a small buffet outside that's pretty much the old food from prior meals inside. I don't recommend it because there is constantly pigeons eating out of the trays. The staff here is terrible. Basically useless. None of them speak English. They also have a tendency of trash talking you in Spanish. The cleaning staff starts at like 7. Good luck sleeping in past then because they make a ton of noise in the hall way yelling back and forth to each other. The bar staff are jerks. Ordered 2 beers while no one else was at the bar. The guy continued doing what ever for the next min. Some lady walks up orders like 4 drinks he makes them for her she leaves then he asks me what I want. Another instance. Went to get pool towels at 8 am.

This place is a complete joke, save your money! Right from the get go we had issues, check in took forever, we upgraded to VIP after reading a few other reviews but don't waste your money. The list of things they say you're going to get with the extra $35 a night (per person) are non existent. No champagne, no housecoats, no special treatment whatsoever, Wi-Fi is only good for one device and you have to renew it every 15 hours which is a total pain. Aside from the "VIP treatment", the room we got was garbage, no hot water, the jacuzzi and fridge didn't work, the door to the room and patio door didn't lock (a maid barged into our room at 7am that morning). Our balcony looked out onto the Dreams resort and the back of a restaurant after we specifically requested and thought we were paying for pool view. We were told 4 different times someone was coming to look at our water issues and no one ever came. Finally after talking to management they switched us rooms the next day, better view but fridge still didn't work and still didn't get anything special from the list of VIP luxuries. We both got sick from the buffet the 2nd day we were there, buffet and a la cartes were terrible. Staff were also unfriendly and not helpful at all.

That, for me was the worst hotel in Punta Cana ever: The rooms were not cleaned The TV was not repaired for days On the hotel ground are dozens of reps trying to sell agressively something I have got a food infection due to bad see food and had to go to the hospital which costed over 1000$ for 1 night. My son got ill and we could not fly as planned the hotel charged 220$ per person and per night as they knew we didn't have an alternative.

Ewwwww well here I go we entered our room and the musty smell was so bad, then the toilet leaked, the ceiling leaked. They wash our coffee cups and glasses in the bathroom sink. You dont want to know how I found out! the room was sooo dirty I know they dont wipe down the toilet and tub everyday, the food was pretty bad. Everywhere you go they ask for a tip very annoying expecially seeing Im on vacation. We got there on saturday by wednesday my husband was up all night with the runs and vomiting. Bu the time we left the following saturday I was in the same condition and was on the plan ewwww. Just to let you know many people were sick at this resort. To me there is so many other places to go to much nicer and cleaner I will no longer try to save a buck! you get what you pay for lesson be learned.

We were disappointed in this resort, but it wasn't awful. We went for our honeymoon and had done all-inclusive resorts before. We did not receive ANYTHING we were supposed to get as part of our honeymoon package, even though we reminded them we were on our honeymoon at check-in. The room conditions are not nearly as nice as they look in the pictures (I refused to shower without shoes on because I was disgusted with the lack of cleanliness). The food was so-so and we were disappointed that we were not able to try all the different restaurants — half the reason we chose this resort was because they advertised so many options, but the restaurants were only open for dinner, you could only make up to 4 reservations per week, and when we went to make reservations, they had a limited number of people that they could accommodate each night, so there were usually only 2 to pick from for any given evening. The only thing open for breakfast was the buffet, and for lunch it was the buffet or snack bar, which got old. There were several people who got sick during our stay, although we were fine. Most of the staff selling excursions were obnoxious and pushy, never leaving you alone, but the service staff were very friendly and we liked that they provided some type of entertainment all day it seemed. The beach was nice and we were able to find chairs every day, even if we didn't get out there until noon. The pool was always full.

This great, don't expect luxuries but if a favorable treatment. This hotel is a practical and clean, the beach is not nice, but 150 metres left is the sea that one expects to see in this island. I was with 41 persons during 7 days. 37 got sick The first 3 days beach with algae Rooms need renovation Personnel need training to deal with customers. A lot of solicitation from hotel personnel; photographers, excursions, SPA, souvenirs, etc. Restaurants with low variation of meals, and the same taste. Mexican, Japanese, Italian, NY etc far from original. Internet WI-FI is a scum Hotel offers free WI-FI in a designated room I connected only once to internet. Internet packages are offered 4$ for 15 minutes without stopping, or 25$ for 25 hours Hotel do not accept RD pesos only US dollars. Barmen serve when they want.

Horrible and Sea resort. We have been sick all week. Problem with the same water if hotel claims that it is water. Cramps and diarrhea all week. The sea was dirty, lots of algae and the water was Brown. A lot of boats near the beach. Walk 25 minutes to find a swimmable sea. The staff was not very friendly. At the bar, some servers were pretending not to see to not to serve or they stood all in the bottom of the bar and none came to serve us. They have not seem to understand that we are already paying for this service.
This hotel stands as a 5 or 4.5 stars, I'd give only 3.

I was in this hotel hosted in 2012 and the truth I have no complaints. Clean, good service and atmosphere. The only downside is that something dangerous is to get out of the hotel zone, though my cousin and I were out with an employee of the hotel who showed us the surroundings. I recommend this hotel.

The hotel I was lead to believe was 4 star, this was not the case as far as the rooms go, the room we stayed in was zero star, it was dated the bathroom ceiling was leaking the room had a damp musty smell about it, the food was bland, on the good side the staff were polite (most of them) the beach and the pool was ok, about 50% of the sun loungers were broken, it was our first time at this hotel and certainly our last.

Regrettable. We spent 7 days 22-29 September and the truth is that we have become with bad taste in the mouth and sick in the stomach. Don't spend your hard earned dollars at this place. The check in process was a mess! We arrived at the hotel at around 10:30 am and did not get he room till after 3pm. None of the restaurants had A/C and the food was not good at all. We even had a roach on our plates in the Japanese restaurant. It seemed that they had more people trying to sell you stuff then actually make your experience pleasant.

We enjoyed a few wonderful days, very good service, highlights the dedication and cordiality of the staff at the Hotel. Good rooms, very timely cleaning, beach cleaning should be improved and provide more variety in the menu, otherwise a very pleasant experience, my small Bruna was that enjoyed the stay at Be live. This is a hotel that can be deceiving. When we arrived, with the family, there were several lines for check-in. We waited for approximately 3 and a half hours in a lobby that had nothing to offer but many customers fighting, cursing and arguing with the employees in the front desk. There were some fans blowing out heat and everyone complaining. We had to carry all our luggage ourselves to the room — no bell service and no elevators up to the 3rd floor. When arrived to the room the air conditioner was not working and the toilets were clocked. All over the hotel numerous people complained of the same thing. The day before leaving the hotel, I noticed my 18 kt. Gold necklace missing valued at $850.00. I spoke to the cleaning lady in charge of cleaning the rooms and she said that because they were having trouble with the bathrooms she had to call maintenance. I made the report and to this day nothing has been resolved. After several phone calls all I got was the run-around. They said they did an investigation and are not responsible as per Mr. Brayan Valdez at Customer Relations at the Be Live Grand Punta Cana in Domenican Republic. You go out of your way to take your family on a nice vacation but some hotels seem to take advantage. I would NEVER recommend this place.

BEWARE! DO NOT STAY HERE! This has to be the most horrible, disgusting hotel in all of Punta Cana. I don't even know where to begin. I reserved a Master Suite with VIP access and once I arrived at the hotel, they claimed that I had reserved a Junior Suite. After an hour of going back and forth with the front desk and guest services staff, I was finally escorted to my 'suite'. This room was filthy. It had evidence of mold, smelled of mildew and the air conditioning did not work! I then moved to a second room, which was slightly less raggedy than the 1st. This room did have air, but it had stains on the sofa and the ceiling fan appeared to be rusted. All of the metal fixtures were rusted and the drapes and curtains were filthy. The bathtub wasn't very clean and there were cobwebs everywhere. The food was equally as horrible as the rooms. The main dining area did not have any air conditioning and the food at the other restaurants was mediocre at best. And to top it off, there was a ROACH crawling across the counter near the food in the Japanese restaurant. The staff was rude and the timeshare vultures were everywhere. The spa was a joke. The rooms were not secure and the maid walked in on me changing clothes, twice. The pools looked lovely, but I NEVER saw them being cleaned! Again, this was the worst hotel experience that I have ever had in my life! Do yourself a favor, avoid this hotel at all costs. If you stay here, you will regret it.

So the check in process is ridiculous, first day I didn't get the room that I paid for than the front desk people don't care or is lack of training. Why is it they use notebooks and flash cards to find out about rooms, why are the computers just sitting there? The food was OK I expected local food or at least well cooked. The buildings and recreational areas are really nice and the people are helpful except the front desk people. Mr Delicio? Kitchen Supervisor the best out there. If you don't care much about food than this is an OK place for the price $500 for 6days 5nights with airfare is what I paid.

Everyone enjoyed it. That's just the poolside towel steal, stay alert, do not otplyvajte far) ) the food is delicious, fed for slaughter, my wife and I enjoyed it! Fruit a lot! Staff area. Only the Ocean was rather dirty. And so everything is OK, still to come).
