This is the worst resort that I've ever been to. They rented a room that they didnt have. Then the manager miraculously found a room in an attic on the last floor. The room smelled musty and I found myself bitten by bed bugs. The next morning the other manager moved us to another room on the 1st floor which was better. The food is okay not the best. The soft drinks are either cheap soda or powdered orange juice that taste like metamucil. The servers are always in a bad mood and not happy at all. The show was terrible. I will never go back.

This Resort did not meet my expectations. 1st my reservations were lost and I had to pay to sleep that night after discussing with them for over 3 hours. We had to change rooms because our room sounded like it was flooding every night. The food was not authentic for lack of a better word. The only shining gem at this resort is their staff, the personnel there treat you with respect and try their best to make you comfortable.

Some rooms are very poorly kept and rundown, like a 1 star motel, while others earn 3 starts. Overall staff are lovely and genuine. Food is better than expected. Pools are clean and new. Well kept grounds. The beach vendors were a bit of a nuisance and kept returning daily even after one made a purchase from them previously.

We booked this hotel because it was cheap and also had good reviews. Once again, though, I wouldn't go there.
The room was very large, you had enough space. However, it was very cold set up. On our beds were stains on the varnish, it looked like blood. The towels also had yellow and red spots that apparently didn't go out. Our air conditioning was so loud that we couldn't sleep the first few nights and visually it didn't look exactly clean now (see picture). The shower was calcified and rusted everywhere. The rooms were very clairvoyant, so barrel you became awake at night more often when a door fell to. Since we were two girls, the location of the hotel was not for us (our fault, we just had to inform ourselves better), because when we got out of the hotel complex to take a walk, we were right back turned over because we were afraid. After all, there is nothing going on, like extinct. The taxis are far too overpriced. As far as I can remember, a taxi to Santo Domino costs over 100 euros! We chose the bus (that was maybe an experience! — if you can't know Spanish is more likely to refrain from it). The food was very one-sided. The fruit was not refrigerated. Very little choice. There are 3 restaurants with a map, which are great (but you can only visit once per stay). The staff is nice and anxious. The only thing that really convinced me was the beautiful beach! Turquoise blue! — In hindsight, I read reviews of the hotel and was puzzled by what some positive wrote.

Only positive emotions. Of course the hotel needs renovation, but all the minuses overlaps the local nature. The sea is just super-clear water, white sand and palms, what else you need for a good holiday. The food is great for so many stars.

This hotel is located in the city of Juan Dolio and not in Santo Domingo as it is indicated on the actual map. It takes approximately 45 minutes to get to the city of Santo Domingo from the hotel with the local bus on the boulevard nearby. The hotel was okay, some rooms are newer/nicer than others. The food was not that great but there was a large selection and 3 good restaurants to try during the week. There are a few shops and restaurants outside of the hotel if you go right on the main road.

Pros: Large hotel area, friendly staff, cleanliness, food for any taste categories, on more than just excellent.
Cons: Beach bad, shallow, breakwater, coral plate with algae always, walk to the left-right along the coast at a distance of about 6 km ineffectual (old rooms in all aspects. The hotel is very small. Saved excursions around the country and on Atlantic.
Summary: The hotel is designed for an alcohol weekend with excellent food from the locals of Santo Domingo.

I recommend a very good hotel. I did not regret that bought here ticket. Excellent staff and constantly smiling greet and all this from the heart. Very good-natured people.

Plant in the years, but overall quite okay. Buffet was fine. The staff super nice. The DR are just nice people. The guests relatively international. Russians, Canadians, Poland, DR, Germans, Swiss. Did thoroughly enjoy spending my time with these people despite language problems. Unfortunately, my holiday was again far too short.

Good place to spend the day. They need to improve the food. The beach is beautiful.

Bad service, my husband called for a reservation and a young lady gave him a price he cut the call, then called back and took him another person and gave him another price and when he reclamamo the price difference this one told imbecile.
They must monitor and monitor the call center in the sales and customer service area.

Hotel is 30 years old. But now all the renovations are underway. I'm here for the fourth time now. All are totally super friendly. The service good. Beach Super. I love Juan Dolio.

The hotel is very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Great sea level Unfortunately many algae and sea grass but otherwise great ambiance very nice personnel and even without English and Spanish you get further. Really only downside quite noisy in the evening when partying but you can still fall asleep or partying.

Not a bad place for a Beach Passday, but it could be better. They have a good beach front area and facilities for the beachgoers (Showers, restrooms) and good seats at the beach area. For the passday, we paid USD 50.00, and for that price, the "all inclusive" offer still have lot of room for improvement. Food is acceptable, but one could expect something better for the price. Coctails and drinks, not bad, but they use low cost (for not saying cheap) alcohol, and the beer (not bottled) had a weird flavor, at lest they have a giftshop where you can boy President Beer in bottle at a reasonable price. Servicewise, not bad either and they offer Taxi service in case of needing to move to another town or to the capital city. Do I recommend it, not yet, I would like to try other places at Juan Dolio to have a better judgement.

The property is actually really nice and the hotel is also right by the sea. Unfortunately, the rooms are a disaster. Most things are broken and it is drekig everywhere. The shower does not work well and most of the staff is unfortunately very rude.

First time ever in Dominican Rep and I can say that I made an excellent selection by coming to "Coral Costa Caribe"… It's a great place. The room were great. The service was excellent and the food out of this world… too many choices! The bars were great as well… but the most important thing is that the beach was just amazing. Most of the time it was totally empty early morning. Great for long walks and very safe. If I have the opportunity to come back again… I'll definitely stay here at "Coral Costa Caribe".

Not great but not horrible either. -the food was good but the selection was not -nice open space dining area, except it's above the washrooms and that smell does take over some tables -the beach was great except the locals try and sell stuff and don't leave you alone and it kind of ruins things.

Good Hotel interesting entertainments, for all the areas there are wheelchair access. They have good attentions, Lobby, people willing to give the best with a good face. He's having a good time. Varied food, great dinner! Snack all day and overnight.

Great hotel. It is possible to rent a mask, glasses a boat (did not understand, as give out). Tennis, table tennis, basketball, gym, etc. Coastal line of the sea is shallow. The room is OK. The food too. 3 types of restaurants, which can be booked in the morning at the reception… Much more good. One problem if you sit in a hotel then it is not better to choose Turkey!? A disco is held in the evenings. There is going to a lot of people-nowhere else. Great choice for a family holiday in the Dominican Republic.

Lower budget all inclusive beach resort. Good service, full amenities.

The hotel is very nice and clean. The food is delicious, the room is cozy, the bed is huge, but bed linen with stains which hike not wash, such should be thrown away!

A hotel that has reached its peak. Rooms completely outdated and urgent need for renovation. Only plus the beautiful beach and the well kept outdoor facilities. All in all, I don't recommend it any further!

Sumptuous Hotel Recommend! The concept of the hotel is: You can not leave the territory at all! There is a tennis court, a basketball court, tables for table tennis and volleyball net are right on the beach, also there are billiard tables (equip), disco, restaurants carte-cards. Chic, big rooms. The food is excellent too! Every night trade in souvenirs, paintings. Animation in the morning, afternoon and evening! Nightly performances on stage, in delicacy. Karaoke Days! Single rooms No, they are all as big as the photo! I stayed in this hotel for a few nights.

It's very good hotel I like it I recommend the excellent staff treat you very well.

Let's start with the positive things: the beach. Compared to other beaches at that area, this one was the most beautiful one! It had clear sand and water and enough palm trees, they made sure to clean up every day. Really a plus point compared to the hotel and the rooms. Also mostly good: the themed restaurants. Especially the Mexican one, then comes Italian/Dominican. Buffet was okey, it's 3 stars, nothing great expected. The live cooking area was better than the buffet. The omelette and egg man was the only highlight every morning, he was awesome and very talented, how he did it was always like a little show. But the last 3 days I must have eaten something bad, I got big problems with my stomach and had to go on toilet every hour. Also they had a lot of times green tomatoes in the buffet, which I know is totally unhealthy and not recommended to eat. The service in the buffet area was really bad, once we had to order a beer 3 times and the woman we ordered at just kept walking like a snail and doing other stuff. The service in the restaurants is mostly really good. Like in 8 of 10 times. Sometimes you just catch a bad day or waiter. One big tip:
DON'T GET A SAFE KEY! WE PAID 40$ FOR 13 DAYS AND DIDN'T GET THE MONEY BACK! No-one told us that. A little upset about that. The beach sellers are annoying but always friendly, you get used to it. Just don't start a convo, say no thank you directly and they will leave afterwards.

It is a very quiet and cozy place, highly recommended for family and social environments. Very nice.

The beach is perfect and certainly one of the most beautiful on the south Coast (mainland)! Enough space under palm trees and in the sun. The hotel itself is very large, partly used and the buffet is just too busy. But you always find a place. It was clean and the food was good. Our superior room was very large, but the bathroom was totally outdated. For the price we had about Anex tour unbeatable and absolutely OK. Even so with Anex tour everything worked out, also the flight with Azur Air was super just! For the double I would not have booked this hotel.

The best times of the hotel are looong past — the Russians are (as unfortunately almost always and everywhere annoying and born) — the animation (on the same level) too noisy — over the weekends by locals (can be quite nice) — the rooms in the old Main buildings are noisy and oll — the beach is sadly neglected because of the guests with Tipps and small drinks straws filthy.

Room stayed, service and food used to be better, animation was earlier much better (you can forget 15 people and let's see, maybe 3-5). Casino no longer exists. The beach has been widened, so you can go into the water 20 meters before the grass and stones come.

We had a wonderful stay at this resort. Two staff that went above and beyond to be very pleasant were Roberto and Manuel. Only thing that we didn't like was the peddling on the beach, wouldn't stop was constant and very persistent.

Not everything is perfect, but people try as they can. The beach is lovely but not bad would have been the bottom clean of algae. The animators will remain satisfied with everything.

Staff made all the difference. We felt welcomed and remembered!

If you're looking for the palace, go your way.
For the others, go for the opportunity.
Value for money, extra!
Even if the hotel deserves a small renovation, the 2 swimming pools, the bars (of which 1 in Access 24/24) as well as the various restaurants make forget the small details that reveal the age of the structure.
Direct access to the beach and village just a short distance from the hotel entrance.
Wifi available throughout the hotel and even on the beach.
Everything to please… or almost (depending on your degree of requirement).
Have a good holiday at all.

Great value hotel which has its advantages and of course disadvantages.
Advantages: 1. Very good location first beach Line 2. Three different restaurant and one main restaurant.
Dominican Restaurant Italian Restaurant Mexican Grill restaurant 3. Inexpensive 4. Cosy atmosphere 5. The best Palm Beach Cons: 1. On weekends very strong noise due to neighbor Disco 2. If the wind has a battle situation, then it stinks throughout the hotel after burned Mühl.

Excellent facilities very good place to rest or spend a weekend.

They must improve maintenance. But still a good place to spend a day at the beach near the city. The best thing about the hotel is its beach.

In the Dominican Republic we were the first time, decided to celebrate the New Year 2018. Having read the reviews and seeing the prices of other hotels-decided to choose Coral Costa Caribe.  
I will try to describe all the details, start with the positive.  
Great location.  
First coastline, nice big beach that is cleaned, palms and sunbeds. In general all that is necessary for rest in style of vegetables.  
The hotel's territory and infrastructure.  
Large area, tired of course from the years lived, but still decent. You will find where to walk, and a little fun in golf, tennis, basketball. In addition, there are several pools, if the sea is not pleasing to you. In addition, within walking distance there are several shops and a tour agency with adequate prices (to the right when leaving the main building, minutes 5-7 walk) and restaurants (to the left, minutes 20)
Food.  
Was pleasantly surprised by the food after having read the reviews from other tourists. Well, apparently we, unlike those who wrote these reviews and belitvered the quality of food in the hotel, do not eat in Michelin-starred restaurants. Everything was all arranged-a large selection of dishes, a decent taste, every day you can try something new. Of course, there is much to improve-it is cooking meat and the number of types of fruit, but in general-excellent.

I don't recommend it. This hotel is very expensive. Disgusting room, food to feed the pigs (buffet) a la carte restaurants 3.0 * no more. Ride from Punta Cana very long, the bus stops at several other places before. (2:30 for getting there) Prostitutes outside who you are busy and are on the brink of dying of AIDS. If you go there, you're going to regret not paying 300. $0 more to have a real 4 *. Bartender who only rinse the glasses so you expose yourself to hepatitis. Danger danger hazard. Do not rely on those who write that it is a 4 * you go to regret it strongly.

Feedback about the main body. Nice hotel, good location right on the beach, tasty food (there is always something to choose from), Wi-Fi in the rooms, little things like free billiards and kayaks. There are 3 free restaurants available for guests to record.
of the minuses-disco (at night) and entertainment program (day and evening) can interfere with sleeping in certain rooms, but promptly resettled.

Something old in the years, Max 2 * * Hotel. The beach makes up for it again. Let's see what the holiday still has to offer.

It's a beautiful place, it's really good food, the sea and the beach are spectacular. Ideal place to relax and unwind.

The room was a bit tired, but enough big and cool, well this is not the main thing. The hotel itself is great, located on the first line by the sea, clean and tidy beach, comfortable pools, great restaurants with adequate and tasty menu. Walking to the beach of the neighboring Hotel Jemoshens, was shocked, the beach is small, dirty, all in seaweed. The animation is also good, not gone and not silly, one night the truth was karaoke and I horrified, but it is only one evening. The staff is very vezhlevyj and helpful. All who meet in Dominkanu, will sincerely advise this hotel. The only thing that strains, it is merchants by the sea, but they are everywhere in the resort areas, here they at least with local flavor and kind. In the evening a bunch of tables and bars where you can sit down with a cocktail and relax. The bars by the way are not bad, from the beach bar, to the cold sports bar with kicker and billiards, to choose about 15 different cocktails, beer, and of course the alcohol in its pure form and countless mixes, all this matter, absolutely free of charge.

The hotel is right on the beach. Food is good, always vegetarian is, than to eat. Always available fruit, in the hotel restaurant or on the beach. The shower animators are many Brazilians, Americans, Europeans. Rooms are cleaned every day. I had no air con in the room, but hot and stuffy there was enough fan on the ceiling. The hotel is fall.

Nice hotel, clean every day, up to the sea to walk a couple of minutes, depending on which of the houses were lodged. The rooms are clean. The food is very good. The beach is very clean. Because the beach is a municipal-a lot of shopkeepers, a little annoying. The bar variety is good.

This hotel is NOT worth the amount of money you spend for a night there. The rooms lack hygiene. The A/C, when it works, makes a noise that could wake up the dead. You can smell the odor of humidity. There are no ammenities in the room I was given (no iron, no fridge, no coffee maker, no blow dryer). The windows don't close. Nobody goes to clean your room or, at the very least, change your towels and give you more shampoo. The food, no variety or quality. The so-called "snack bar" only had fries and ketchup, and pizza with moldy pepperoni. You have to wait a looong time for somebody to even look at your table if you need something at the buffet, and one of the waiter was even drying his sweat with one of the table napkins! The building is old and dirty. A lot of the employees do not speak english in any way, shape or form. You can find way better options for a similar price in Bayahibe and Punta Cana.

An all inclusive facility with low costs, kitchen, bar and disco always available to the customer, to visit!

The capella being barcello closes, we opted for the costa caribe: horror! food poisoning of the 2nd day… this during our entire stay 12j. Despite the anti-diarrhea… drugs and we were many in this case… gastro enteritis Severus avecfievre a 40. More than dubious hygiene for sheets and towels. Not cleaned… not fridge to keep a bottle d, fresh water. Finally a disaster! I all the juan dolio a years because my daughter s, is installed in r. D. C, is the 1st time that j, have problems of this kind. I think the services d, hygiene should, interresser a hotel.

Second time visiting the republica de dominicana, this time, it was myself and a good friend who never left Canada. We had an amazing time here at the hotel AND outside the hotel. Taxi service was fantastic, I had the most eventful trip I could have asked for. Visited San pedro, the city of Santo Domingo, beautiful monumental and historical places. La playa de bocachica and of course la playa de juan dolio. I met so many great workers and new friends! From the second we landed to the second we left we were treated like queens! The food is delicious, all types for everyone's satisfaction! Horse back riding for the first time ever was fun! snorkeling for the first time, let alone being in deep ocean waters for the first was life changing and an experience I will never forget! Isla Catalina was absolute paradise! Everyone we met was an honor. Shout out to LonLon for showing us the real Dominican and for looking out for us gals! I recommend this hotel and beautiful country to anyone looking to have a girls trip, couples trip and even family trip! Will be visiting again next year, until then amigos! xo.

The people, and staff hete are amazing. I would give it a 4 star, but we had hot water issues for the first 2 days. It got resolved. And for the vendors on the beach… There are alot of them. But friendly. The food is good to really amazing… I'd come back.

Prayed the reviews were wrong all the from our 2.5 hour ride from the airport. Sure enough people have a right to complain about this resort. The rooms were very dated with no coffee machine and no fridge. You have to ask for the extras lol. I so wished I brought my own cleaning supplies for the bathroom, it was pretty grungy, with sometimes hot water. The food in the main buffet was pretty bad, lived on fruit and veggies for the buffet visits. The Italian and Mexican restaurants were good, but booked up really fast. (I wonder why) The pool is rather small and full early, you gotta be quick to reserve a chair. I would give the beach a 5 star, absolutely beautiful. Service at the bars were really good, Bahama mamas were awesome. I would have paid extra for a better hotel if I knew what I know now, certainly not worth the price. Never to return to this one. Wish I would have payed attention to the reviews before I booked this one.

This is the first time that I am doing a review so please bare with me. This place has the potential to become a four star resort. The food and service in the dinning area, restaurants, beach/pool were great. The group that I was with decided to take a tour into the city of Santo Domingo which was amazing. I highly recommend that! Where they lack or fail is the hotel itself. You have to time your showers right to get water pressure and hot water. Yes, I understand that it is a third world country, but if you want to be a four star resort/hotel you need to take those things into account. My room was okay, I believe that some paint and some tweaks, everything would be good. One last thing and it is not really the fault of the resort, but the people on the beach seem to just throw their cigarette butts and straws anywhere. Walking around in some areas was disgusting; however, the Private International Travel Member area was great along with the staff working in that area. Other than that it was a good time.

We spent there ufortunatelly only one week… really short time : ( (The vacation there was wonderfull, nice friendly people, delicious food, fast and good service in restaurants. Only one thing I must say, that hotel is quite older, so rooms are not in 100% condition by technical way, but we weren´t there to spend vacation in hotelroom. Some problems with water pressure in bathroom was quite unpleasant. This problem was usually after 6 pm, when the towel service and swimming pool close and many people come to hotelrooms to take the shower. But outside everything OK, clean garden, clean restaurants, ncie disco, good drinks. This hotel is placed on quiet place, so there are almost no opportunities of shopping outside. Every day, from the morning till evening there were programs, for children also adults, from watter gymnastic, caraoce show, to dancing etc… Very family friendly hotel, for everybody who want relax themself, but not for people who are looking for luxury rooms. We´d like to come back again and hope that quite soon. :) :)

The hotel is a good one. Food is quite good, there is everything and in sufficient quantity. Powerfully put 5. The sea at 4. Many lounges. But the measure at 3, strovatye. V. In the room working on 5. Write out numbers. In the whole hotel for a relaxing holiday, deserves firm 4.

Great food. Great beach. Decent rooms, but rarely has hot water. They also have no problem pouring very strong drinks.

Horrible. Very disappointing. Have been to far better places. 2.5 stars tops. Few nice employees but not enough that could speak fluent English.

The need to improve the rooms, they are ugly and have no hot water. It doesn't feel like a resort. They do have great customer service.

I was disappointed with the resort the first day I had to go to the front desk and switch room due to humidity and my wife has asthma and couldn't stay there, at the other room had to call for the plumber the toilet wasn't flushing, another day they cleaned the room took the towels, but never put new ones so had to call again for towels they took an hour and 10min to bring the towels. We couldn't enjoy the beach because the people that sales bracelets, cigars etc. Harass you trying to sell something, the casino was close. The food was ok, the waitress and waiters were excellent always care and good service. I don't think I'm coming back to this resory.

Horrible. Para pagar tanto por este disparate de hotel les sugiero que pagen menos en un hotel en punta cana. Tendran mejor experiencia por menos dinero. La comidad es horrible fria, cruda y una variedad muy pobre. Lo unico que sirvio un poquito fueron los postres. No tienen ni personal para recojer los platos, tienes que pararte tu mismo a buscar tu bebida y recojer tus platos. La habitacion no me gusto para nada, la cama es super incomoda y la furnitura es vieja y fea y nisiquiera neverita tienen. La piscina esta chevere aunque los trabajadores siempre tienen actitud. Son super lentos en los bares y con actitud. El entretenimiento nocturno es muy bueno por eso le di una estrella x que si hubiese sido zero estrella le doy esa si no hubiese sido x el entretenimiento nocturno. A mi no me gusto para nada este hotel, no lo recomiendo. Noooooooooo.

The rooms that are renovated but the whole world by giving complaint k the bathrooms clogged, k, the rooms made a sickening, stinking, lousy services, The show is terrible, it's boring. All horrible the worst of the worst. The only thing k looks good is the infrastructure, but for anything because it is terrible that hotel. Don't fence don't waste your money by visiting this place.

I was in the hotel the last week of July 2015 and thanks to God for all he went excellent, the room acceptable aires excellent. The treatment of the employees very well, I take this opportunity to thank Mr. Alex Infante for his good treatment and kindness.

Terrible customer service. The rooms were dirty. The food was cold and bad. The rooms were never fixed on time. The bathrooms kept getting clogged. The front desk service would not respond until the next day. The towels given to you were dirty. The showroom was badly set up. I'd spend my money elsewhere. The employees were also advertising another resort which made no sense considering they worked there. I had a terrible experience and I would never recommend this resort to anyone.

Excellent with all the Remodeling they did good food, good SHow, good Disco very well be very happy to visit this Resort I would like to go back again.

The hotel is well located, close to Santo domingo. I liked the renovated rooms and the food was good, the beach was always kept clean.

Went there recently with my family. Lets just say, Id rather sleep and eat in a sewer This place was a piece of shit. 1. The staff was NOT at all happy to work there, they all looked like they were forced. 2. The front desk took way to long to check in and check out. The rooms. 1. Dirty, Dingy and overall a SHIT HOLE. 2. To walk to your room to anywhere else was such a hassle. 3. We called for towels 3 times and didn't receive any — > Id rather shower in an outhouse 4. The water pressure was terrible People are constantly coming up to you badgering you about buying stuff, you CANT even relax on the beach. IF YOU WANT TO BE CHEEP and DIRTY, this is your place to be. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Hated it! worst place ever.

Coral Costa Caribe, the Dominican Republic is located more than 2:30 h from the Punta Cana airport, not recommended for families with children.

The hotel but it is evil for that is I was in holy week and lasts for four days. Restaurant always the same menu in the avitacion where I was was in a fourth floor and the elevator is not served up and vajar stagger the animation was lousy is a pure waste of hotel.

I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. It's a dump, I would never ever come back. The service was terrible, the rooms were barely adequate, no locks available for safe, food was totally lacking in quality as well as variety, even in the "private" dining rooms, bars ran out of rum numerous times as well as coke, any complaints the staff told you what you wanted to hear but never meant a word of it. Lots pressure to buy into their "time share" International Vacations Club etc In a region of Dominican Republic that is totally run down, there is NOTHING outside the compound, not a safe place to be.

I went last weekend and tell them my experience. I see it as 3 stars, not 4. You have expected exactly for check-in and after last half an hour 3 not yet had our keys. We were told to climb to the snack and twice to look for it, when we returned only had the room and as a 5 pm was that they gave us of the other. One of the rooms had a horrible filtration and bath was filled up to outside water and one of the beds had the loose backrest and sounded just you sat down.
I think they should modify somewhat facilities, seem to have been there too time, many are very obsolete.
The beach is very nice, that Yes, and swimming pools also. Oh, and note that the employees are very friendly and cortez.

Coral Costa Caribe was a great place for a vacation. I have been to the Dominican in the past and I also enjoy the resort I stayed at. The people on this resort were very nice and accommodating. The food was good! Some people that stood out are Adrian our tour guide and the two guys that sold us the tours. Adrian made sure my girlfriend, my daughter, her girlfriend and I were safe. This was my daughter's first trip out of the USA and she loved it. If I could give a slight negative, it would be the language barrier. If you do not know Spanish, I suggest you learn the basics. I would definitely go back to this hotel. Ola.
