Bromølle Kro

Beautiful location. Can’t comment on the rooms, but the food was a huge disappointment.

We went to Denmark for the first time and for family reasons my husband and I needed to stay in Jyderup. It is a little gem of a place, not just this hotel but also the town. I did book through Hotels. Com for a two night stay. However, we decided later we needed 3 nights, which wasn't available on Hotels. Com and so I contacted the hotel. They were very accommodating and advised I could have an extra night and pay on arrival.
It took us about an hour to drive from Copenhagen and the hotel is about 5-10 min drive to the town. This hotel is a classic old building built in the 12th century. Amazing. The main house has the breakfast/dinner areas including outdoors as well as a function room. I am unsure if there is accommodation in the main building. We had a room in one of the many rooms which are out the back of the main building. I believe there is about 30 rooms. We faced the carpark (I know that doesn't sound nice but it was great) and we faced the greenery where a river than through below.

The owners were so kind, so accommodating and always at your service despite how busy they were and the place was extremely busy during our stay.
We had a double room, with a fantastic bed, desk and chair as well a two seater lounge, one seater and a coffee table. No complaints it was great. The room was extremely clean as was the outdoor furniture. There was a kettle and tea and coffee which was great. The room was clean and big enough, as was the bathroom.

A very nice and historic place at a beautiful location. The service was perfect, friendly and professionel.
The food was also very good with exceptional perfectly cooked meat.
Bromølle Kro is definitely worth a visit.

We stayed two nights, because we just needed a relaxing weekend and to calm down. The rooms are located behind the restaurant, away from the road and facing the forest — wonderful! Breakfast was very good with lots to choose from. Room was good and clean with a small private terrace and a good bathroom. Staff was very friendly and helpful, we felt very welcome.
We had dinner in the restaurant both night, good traditional Danish food in a ‘traditional atmosphere’ sensing the old time in Denmark.

This hotel is a great hotel if you want some quiet time. The hotel is in two parts, you have the main building which contains the restaurant where you have a typical Danish breakfast. The rooms are like little chalets with a balcony which has a table and chairs. The rooms are a good size with a fair size bathroom. Staff are friendly and helpful. Just be aware of the 6pm check in time. We were a little late and rang ahead to warn them which was all good.
