This hotel has a nice location, facilities and breakfast service. The problem is with the heartless and cruel management. I was traveling with my 91-year old aunt who has multiple physical handicaps. As we were readying to checkout in the morning, my aunt was struck by severe and painful stomach distress and had to spend considerable time in the bathroom, and then later wash-up and change her clothes. Checkout time is 10:30 AM. At 10:45 AM, my aunt was still in the bathroom and the persistent knocking on our door began, “We have to clean the room! ” I explained to the staff that my aunt was in the bathroom and was experiencing a great deal of intestinal distress. “How much time do you need? ” they barked, “We need to clean the room. You are late! ” I explained the situation again and said that we would leave as soon as possible. Five minutes later, the manager returned, “You need to get out! We need to clean the room! ” Four staff members were gathered outside the room, plus the manager, waiting, glaring, knocking, insisting. I explained again, the unanticipated situation and requested their patience and understanding. No! They need to clean the room NOW! A young man and woman barged into the room and began to strip the beds. My naked aunt, who is partially deaf, has low vision, and is lame on the left side of her body, emerged from the bathroom, asking what was going on.

Inflexible, badly isolated rooms. Not worth the price. I don’t understand giving this property 8/10. Not deserved at all. Breakfast is small (but you find stuff to eat, don’t get me wrong). But if you like me see hotel breakfast as one of the up:s when staying in a hotel you will be disappointed. Staff not friendly, and with kids you feel that you’re not really welcome. We had a TV that didn’t work, instead 5 min after trying to turn it on, lots of white smoke came out of the tv! We pulled out the cord, and got staff to look at it. They told us that it wasn’t their fault that the TV started catch fire (! ) and the hotel was sold out, so we could not get any other room. Instead they sprayed the room with lemon scent to cover the burned electronic smell! That sent us the signal how things are taken care of at the hotel. No compensation was given to us for this, instead we paid over 1300dkr for one night.

Dejligt ophold på et fint værelse, alt var som det skulle være.
