The Note

The hotel was well situated and beautiful. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. Our room was spacious and comfortable. I couldn't have asked for anything better.

Beautiful, comfortable and well-equipped hotel. But what truly made the difference was the attention of the receptionist who worked the evening shift on Thursday the 6th and Saturday the 8th. Despite my issues with the language, she helped me sort out my parking without any risk of fines and made sure I could use the hotel’s agreement with the nearby gym; all with a mix of attentiveness, warmth and professionalism that really stand out. She’s the kind of employee who adds real value to a company, and the kind of person we all feel lucky to come across in our days. You’ll recognize her because she looks like the actress Margaret Qualley. 5 stars because of her.

Very disappointing experience.
Before my stay, I checked the official hotel website, which clearly says that guests may park on Flegmade 6A–6B – and that’s exactly where I parked. I also paid 95 DKK for a 24-hour ticket via the EasyPark app, which even indicates that parking is valid for the entire parking area.
Despite that, I received a parking fine. The hotel later explained that guests are only allowed to park in spots marked with a “The Note” sign – but these signs are barely visible when cars are parked in front of them.
There’s no clear information on the website or in the app that warns guests about this. It’s all extremely misleading and confusing.
When I raised the issue, the hotel just told me that I should have watched a “parking video” beforehand and that it’s the driver’s responsibility – seriously?
For a place that presents itself as modern and guest-friendly, this is simply unacceptable.
I paid, I followed the instructions, and I still got fined. Never again.

Nice hotel with a green profile.
The note is a bit old and you can see this at the outside. But it is very Clean and the rooms are modern. Nice details with chargers for mobile phone and green flowers. The breakfast is good and the area is pretty quiet at night.

It is a lovely hotel with lots of plants which gives the hotel a nature vibe. The green is very calming and relaxes you involuntarily. We were staying on the top floor with view of the park, it was such a lovely room/hotel that we extended our stay!

From check in to check out, it was great.
I was inter-railing with my 2 children and arrived from Billund to Vejle. Søren welcomed usat the beginning and was ever so friendly. The hotel was nothing I have seen before, the plants and colours are just great. ‘Unfortunately’ they had to upgrade us to a suite, the kids were delighted and the view over the park was great.
We did not opt for breakfast due to the fact we were backpacking and tried to keep the costs down as much as we could, but I am sure it would have been amazing.
We would love to come back to the hotel and explore more of Vejle and the vast area around it.

Recently refurbished with Forrest relaxation room, games and drink, coffee tea and snacks areas downstairs and a spacious breakfast area. Breakfast is full of fresh fruits, cold cut meats, cheese and cooked breakfast food. The room is comfortable, clean, beautiful views, with great bed and shower. The location is easy and close to the city centre. We are really enjoying our stay.

This is a great hotel with a good location. It’s close to the major attractions of Vejle and the staff had good suggestions of activities and dining nearby. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. There was also a secure place to store my bags while I explored town after checking out. The lobby has a nice sitting area and a small selection of snacks and drinks available to purchase, or there is a series of shops nearby/across the street. There is a nice park area just outside as well. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Great hotel in Vejle, we are verge happy to have stayed in this beautifully designed hotel.
Was visiting as a photographer to a business trip in town.
The overall design and interior is well thought through and has a cozy touch to it.
A lot of plants and earthy green and grey tones are dropped through the hotel lobby and in the rooms as well.
The breakfast is awesome and the open lobby invites to have a drink or two from the bar.

I had the pleasure of staying at he Note for a two-week business trip, and I couldn’t be more impressed! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by a warm, welcoming staff who made my stay incredibly comfortable.
The rooms are nothing short of amazing—modern, and beautifully designed. I especially loved the unique touch of the room garden above the headboard, which added a peaceful and refreshing vibe to the space. It really felt like a home away from home!
The breakfast was more than decent, offering a good variety of options to start the day. The staff at the hotel were always attentive and eager to assist with any request, making me feel well taken care of throughout my stay.
Overall, I highly recommend Hotel The Note for anyone visiting Vejle, whether for business or leisure. Exceptional service, a great atmosphere, and thoughtful details make all the difference. I look forward to staying again on my next trip!

One of the best hotels I've ever been too. Super friendly, clean and good equipped. Breakfast is included and also fantastic 🥰

Good location and cute decor, but know this:
1. You will pay 90-100 DKK PER DAY extra for parking, so add that to the price (If you find a parking spot)
2. Staff treats you as they are doing you a favor.
3. Showers are not good as hot water comes and goes.
4. There's no food. There's booze and breakfast, nothing else.
5. Might be a danish thing, but they only clead your room if you ask (Would've been nice if they told me that on check-in)
There's nothing that stands out besides location and looks.

The hotel is located very close to the center of Vejle, within walking distance to places to eat and drink and to shopping. It is an incredibly clean and spacious hotel. The staff is very polite, everyone speaks English anyway. They praised the breakfast a lot, it really is as good as they praised, everything in the breakfast was very clean and meticulous. There was a lot of variety, as someone who has stayed in many countries and cities in Europe, the breakfast was well above average. I definitely recommend it. We are thinking of choosing the same hotel again when we go there again :)

Very friendly staff. Especially Soren, he was very thoughtful. My wife and I were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and he treated us like royalty. Many kudos to him. We would definitely stay there again.

Absolutely amazing value for money! Had chosen the hotel because of the low price only and was blown away by the beautiful hotel, everything sparkling new and both modern and cosy at the same time, with an fantastic attention to detail, down to the plugs and ports near your bedside.
I will never stay anywhere else when in Vejle and surroundings.

Dear Hotel The Note Management,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at your hotel. While there were many positive aspects of the experience, such as the beautiful lobby and overall hotel design, as well as the fact that dogs are welcome (albeit with a €40 surcharge), some issues unfortunately overshadowed the visit.
The complimentary dog toy and water bowl in the room were a nice touch and much appreciated. However, the major issue occurred due to an unexpected and very loud techno concert taking place directly outside the hotel. We politely inquired at the front desk about the possibility of moving to a quieter room, but the staff member we spoke to was dismissive of our request, merely stating that the concert would end by 11 PM.
As a guest, there was no way for me to know prior to booking that such a loud event would take place right outside the window. Despite the disruption, I was still charged the full rate for my stay. How can this be fair when the noise severely impacted our ability to relax and enjoy the hotel?
I hope that you will consider this feedback seriously and offer a solution to ensure that future guests do not experience a similar situation.
