Great host that goes above and beyond, nicely decorated rooms, excellent terrace with amazing views of the Danish countryside. Calm, peace, and quiet. Free parking on site. Breakfast can be purchased or you can use the kitchen to prepare your own. My only complaint is that the water pressure could be a little better but it's an old house.
Neatly tucked up the hill from Vejle and only a short drive from Legoland, this elegantly converted farmhouse is a great place to stay. Our room was clean, spacious and included an impeccable en suite. Stine was a gracious and informative host, and she also makes a yummy breakfast. I can particularly recommend the home-baked buns. Bøgehus hit the spot and is well worth a visit.

Stayed here 1 night out of our 16 day tour of Denmark with family and friends. This was our favorite place and our most favorite night. Owner and husband invited all of us as well as a group of South African bicycle racers to a complimentary campfire dinner of snobrod. I had never heard of this delicacy but I ended up eating 2 with wieners. Oh, so yummy! It was a most enjoyable evening full of camaraderie. The rooms were beautiful too and we also enjoyed the breakfast. I will definitely return if I am ever in the area. Price for rooms was very reasonable.
