Kromann's Hotel in Q&A

Information is provided based on reviews and may contain inaccuracies.

What kind of cuisine is served at the restaurant at Kromann's Hotel?

The establishment offers traditional, old-style dishes with a menu that is not overly extensive and avoids standard items found everywhere. Guests note that the food is very delicious and beautifully presented, particularly praising the 4-course menu and the daily special. The menu includes dishes such as mussels and burgers, as well as chocolate cake with cream for dessert.

Is the staff at Kromann's Hotel polite, and how do they handle guest issues?

Reviews regarding the staff are highly mixed. Some guests describe the service as good and the innkeeper ("krofatter") as a welcoming, friendly, and pleasant host. However, other visitors report egregious rudeness and arrogance from the owner: cases of harsh treatment of guests based on their appearance or attire, unjustified booking refusals, and curt responses when attempting to modify an order are mentioned. One guest even stated that they had never encountered such an impossible and unfriendly restaurateur.

What is the atmosphere like at Kromann's Hotel, and is there any entertainment?

The establishment offers a very pleasant and cozy ambient setting, which many guests describe as excellent. Entertainment may include local folk music alongside an open bar. However, some visitors note downsides, such as a strong smell of tobacco smoke in the bar due to a lack of ventilation or specific arrangements.
