Guest opinions are divided. Many describe the employees as warm, attentive, professional, and possessing a great sense of humor. However, there are also negative reviews: some guests encountered rudeness from staff during boat parking, uncertainty at the reception, and a sense of formality or even distrust toward guests. There were also instances where waiters behaved inappropriately, discussing the "importance" of tables in the presence of guests.

The breakfasts are rated very highly, described as luxurious and diverse, featuring high-quality bread and local dishes. The restaurants offer a wide selection, ranging from seafood (seafood towers, shrimp cocktails) to steaks and exquisite 4, 5, or 8-course tasting menus with wine lists. The hotel shows consideration for guests with allergies by preparing special dishes. Nevertheless, some guests found the food too salty and the wine selection in some menus to be of insufficient quality.

The rooms are described as large, stylish, and offering wonderful sea views, with very comfortable beds (although some found them too soft). Nespresso coffee machines are installed in the rooms; however, guests are quite dissatisfied that the capsules are often chargeable (around 10-15 kroner each) and limited in quantity. Some rooms have safes, but there were complaints about them being broken. Issues regarding worn wallpaper, non-functional refrigerators, and poor lighting in the bathrooms were also mentioned.

Most guests are satisfied with the cleanliness and quality of the housekeeping. The presence of a turn-down service and special cards from the housekeeping staff confirming their visit were noted. However, in one of the expensive rooms, guests found food remains (melted butter) from previous occupants and a non-functioning refrigerator.

The hotel has a sauna and a fitness room, although guests note that they are very small and can accommodate no more than two people at a time. According to visitors, these areas seem designed more to meet five-star status requirements than for full-scale workouts. There is also a large bathing pier, although some guests requested that it be kept clean and cleared of seagull droppings.

The hotel may request credit card details and block an amount corresponding to the cost of the reservation, plus an additional 500 kroner as a guarantee. Some guests considered this excessive, especially if the stay had been prepaid. Additionally, there may be notices in the bathrooms stating that charges will be applied for missing or stolen toiletries.

Dogs are permitted at the hotel, including within the restaurant, which has elicited mixed reactions from some guests.
