Hotel Baltic

This hotel is amazing. The rooms and atmosphere are beautiful. The bed was heavenly. A great location on a beautiful harbour, very easy dock for swimming. The breakfast was also really nice.

Personal unfreundlich, Management schlecht, Ausstattung Zimmer durchschnittlich, Essen katastophal. Nie wieder Hotel Baltic.
Unfriendly staff, bad management, average room facilities, catastrophic food. Never again Hotel Baltic. My visit to this Hotel was in the past and the critics were deserved. Now I read there are new tenants — so it can only be better or get better.

This place is unique. A location so beautiful. The rooms are fantastic. We had a room facing the small harbour, it was amazing. Food in the restaurant was excellent and not to forget the service from all the staff. Go for it, you will not be disappointed.

Terrific location by the sea and a small harbor for pleasure boats. We hiked the coastal path with our children (7 and 9) to Sonderborg, which is amazing in the number of sights and landscapes it offers. We stayed in large family room, which is really oversized but great. Restaurant (brasserie really) has very good breakfast, and nice beers and menu. Highly recommended overall.

Exceptional dinner! excellent and mostly local products, exquisite and refined recipes, taste is always very fresh, fine and complex and you can tell there was a lot of research!
Plates and presentation are very much structured and finely researched while keeping things simple and promoting the products. China is serving the recipies too. Wines are surprising and it only adds to the charm of the experience.
Service is discrete and professional. Unforgettable experience, so lucky we have such creative and gastronomy lovers in the area!

A nice hotel in beautiful surroundings not far from Sønderborg. The hotel vas refurbished it many years ago and the rooms and restaurants looks very pretty.
The food in the restaurant was nice with good attentive service and the breakfast was excellent.
I did however miss a television in the room and the cleaning of the room could have been better e. G the trash-bin in the bathroom was not emptied (with old sanitary towels) and the bathrobe was full of hair.
