Quite unexpectedly in the tiny village of Elmelunde, you find this pearl of a classic B&B of high quality. The place was originally built in the 1920's as a home for the elderly but closed down 33 years ago just to be taken over by Brit, who has run the place for the past 32 years. The place is tidy, clean, bright, functional, cosy and in every respect reflects that it is owned by a person who cares for the place and its guests. The maintenance level is impeccable, the breakfast buffet delicious and complete, Brit's relaxed yet professional check in and out service is a joy, the TV room comfortable, the beds and duvets ensure sweet dreams, ready made dinners can be bought and warmed in the microwave oven as there is no restaurant in town and a wide array of drinks can be purchased on trust. I spent just one night here when hiking the Camøno, and this stay was the absolute luxury highlight of our trip with Brit taking good care of us, so I'll remember the place for some other time.
We had a wonderful weekend getaway at this charming bed and breakfast. The owner went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The hospitality was exceptional, and their helpful recommendations for local activities made our trip even more memorable. The cozy ambiance of the place and the warm welcome we received truly made us feel at home. We can't thank the hosts enough for their hospitality and kindness. We highly recommend this lovely establishment to anyone looking for a delightful and personalized experience.
