We had the pleasure of staying at Alokke with my family of four (wife, me, kids 10 and 18) and we had a fantastic stay. It's off the beaten path — in the country — which is what we prefer. But it's within easy reach of Odense (and Copenhagen, with a slightly longer drive or train ride).
The rooms are efficient and clean. We rented the apartment unit, so we were able to prepare meals ourselves, which suits our travel style (and budget). We did not opt for the "breakfast " part of the B&B experience, so I can't attest to the food.
What made our stay truly remarkable was how the proprietor helped us. Unfortunately one of us fell ill and needed to visit a doctor. She went above and beyond, not just telling us where to go, but actually calling ahead to we were able to drop into the medical clinic and be seen right away. Being sick and needing medical attention in a foreign land can be intimidating and scary, but thankfully we were staying with one of the kindest B&B owners in all of Denmark.
If you're looking for a quiet B&B off the beaten track but within easy reach of many of Denmark's castles and other sights, book Alokke. You won't be disappointed!

Beautiful accommodation. The whole building looks very nice and picturesque. In the immediate vicinity there is lush nature and mainly old trees. Rooms and common areas are clean. The two women who took care of our comfort were communicative and nice.
