We came to this hotel with high expectations. We had chosen this hotel as it was close to our route home from Stockholm and was highly rated. We booked the "expensive" suite with sea view. The room was decent, but the sea view was only visible by standing at the window or from the balcony. But okay, I could see it. I think regular rooms have a better view as the this suite was in the far corner of the building. The big suite had some "small" issues. There was a water cooker on the desk, but not an electrical plug near the desk to use it with, other than the electrical plug under the desk, meaning the water cooker had to be placed on the floor under the desk… We decided to use the plug in the entree, placing the cooker in the closet for the jackets. And we were unable to find the light switch for the balcony lighting. Which by the way is a huge balcony, going around the corner of the building. The suite has some maintenance flaws. The drain in the shower was clogged, which resulted in a wet bathroom, I unclogged it myself (and later reported it at the reception). Also the bathroom ventilator had worn bearings. I am not sure what triggers the start of the ventilation, but during the evening and night, the fan kept turning on and off automated, either by timer or by moisture level. As the bathroom had flooded due to the drainage issue, there where some seriously wet towels in the bathroom which might have triggered the moisture meter during the whole night.

Well it's a five-star hotel but I'm giving it 3 maybe the hotel is not to blame although the breakfast buffet was disappointing after the previous day's breakfast in Aarhus at a 4-star hotel. We stayed at the hotel because it was dog friendly however the balconies were interconnected like a long terrace. There were no windows only doors so in order to sleep with some are the door had to be open. I did think my dog might run along the balcony and go to somebody else's room. However he managed to surpass himself. He jumped from the balcony more or less 20ft down maybe more probably to kill a rat which he likes to do during the night… and then was barking at the door at 3 a. M. To be let in. The night staff ignored it and the guest above the main entrance went down and opened the door. My dog run up the stairs hotly followed by The Irate guest and started scratching at my door. She hammered on the door until I woke up and then spend the next 6 hours berating me. Unforgettable experience.

Small but fine hotel in a place I wouldn't have found if my car hadn't stopped. Very nicely decorated and with an extremely professional staff — exceptionally good service and a great breakfast overlooking the water. The hammer: you can see porpoises on the shore 20m away with good luck. A walk to the next bridge is also interesting and the small place next door is quite funny — but nothing more. If you want to go on holiday in this area, you are certainly well served here. Of course not quite cheap, but high-quality.

Good hotel, restaurant and bar. Beautiful view.

Super nice hotel. The breakfast was very extensive and from warm to cold everything was there. Pool, sauna and hot tub were very welcoming. Nearby we found an inexpensive and delicious restaurant "Kitzchen. " That's definitely worth a visit.

Wonderful view and staff but the food was very disappointing.

We where there for their breakfast buffet. It was pretty good. The standard items such as eggs and bacon where not warm enough. On the positive side, they had interesting multi-grain bread and buckthorn juice, as well as local, tasty, unfiltered apple juice.

We were here to spend Easter days, and was really nice. The staff is amazing, specially the reception and bar restaurant … We hope come back in summer…

A beautiful place. Beautiful inside and out. A simple menu, with too few options, but excellent quality. We were there a quiet day and the waiters where not paying much attention to us, unfortunately. Otherwise a great experience.

Lovly location in the woods very close to the seefront. Beatyful hotel, very clean. Very god service. Nice breakfast.

Kongebrogården is one of my favorites. The landscape is beautiful, and the service is great!

New management has created the perfect conference setting. Location, facilities, service and a surprising gourmet kitchen makes this a new favorite for high-end meetings and conferences.

We took a late flight into Copenhagen airport and planned on going to Legoland the next day so we thought this place would be a good place to stay to break up the journey and what a treat. Gorgeous views, a love view and the breakfast was great. Would highly recommend this place. The only downside was that we didn't have longer here.

I went to the restuarant in this five star hotel. The dining room is well situated with beautiful views but the tables should face the views to maximise this. The 30 page menu consisted of one page of food and 29 pages of wine. It was severely overpriced (cost of one main course plus bottle of cheapest wine between three = £34 pp). The food was minimalist well presented but tasteless. We decided to leave after one course and asked for the bill. This was eventually produced and we paid. The waitress did not leave a copy of the bill with me. When I queried this and was given a bill, I had been overcharged by approx £40. No apology, no attempt to make up for the 45 mins it took to sort this out nor to cover the costs I would incur through currency exchange. Very poor and obviously intended target customer is business traveller. Best avoided if you are spending your own money.
