Really nice place. We stayed in a room in ‘Lyset’ about 300 m from the main building. Quiet rooms and a fantastic view towards Feddet.
We had an absolutely amazing stay at GI. Brydegaard! We stayed in the Gimlet cottage. It is incredible. It was very spacious for a family of four and it can accommodate many more. It was perfect for a family spring break holiday trip. The staff is wonderful too. Everyone was so friendly and nice. We loved the Danish breakfasts every morning! It was a hearty way to start the day. On our last day, the staff surprised us with a delicious Danish treat for all of us. It was kind of like a cinnamon roll pie.
The location is super. You are just a five to ten minute walk from the beach (and you can see the Baltic Sea from the cottage). Be sure to watch the sunset there at least one night during your stay. The region is quite beautiful and relaxing with the rolling hills of the countryside, the very quaint towns, and the islands and the sea. Gi. Brydegaard gives you a super base to fully explore the area. One tip we have is to check the ferry schedules in advance if you want to make a day trip to Aero Island. The nearest ferry was completely sold out so we had to go to Rudkobing, about an hour's drive, to catch the ferry there.

This place is very quiet. I suggest having a walk to the seaside. I really enjoyed dinner and breakfast. The room was a little cold, I suggest preparing it warmer before guests arrive. I think I will choose it against coming back to Assen.
