Nice campground. We stayed in a small cabin and it was great. Their isn't easy beach access due to private property and the one closest access having dangerous broken stairs. The pool was not heated, but the slides are really fun. Multiple playgrounds and kids areas, it's a nice location and family friendly.

Our recent sojourn at First Camp Skovlund on North Funen was, shall we say, an experience. A cozy little spot, charming in its own way, but perhaps not quite the digital nirvana one expects in this day and age.
We rolled in after 8 PM, only to find our linen packs had ghosted us. The reception was locked tighter than a drum, leaving us with just a sweet young soul in the bistro, bless her heart, trying to wrangle some colleagues on the phone. It was her third day, so, like, totally tubular.
The cabin itself was decent, fairly clean, though the chairs seemed to be in a collective mid-life crisis, practically shedding their screws. A quick, improvised tightening session was in order.
Now, for the real kicker: the internet. The website promised Wi-Fi, a crucial amenity with three digital natives in tow. Yet, connecting to any hotspot was a pipe dream. The staff readily admitted it was a lost cause. Not exactly a mic drop moment, was it?
Despite these little adventures, we managed to chill out, playing some foosball, basketball, and even getting in a swim. But was it worth the coin, considering the hoops we had to jump through for a mere few days? I'm leaning towards "nah. "
