Great place just in front of chateau Hluboka, nice spacious rooms, historic and stylish decorations.

This particular atmosphere cannot be described.
We felt very comfortable, it was enchanting and enchanting.

Absolutely wonderful, amazing views! Best room I’ve ever seen, the royal suite!

We had our wedding ceremony in the front garden/ entrance. Staff were friendly and things ran very smoothly. Thankyou.

A big disappointment! The first thing which we discovered was that the toilet did not work. It was fixed then. Next problem was the noise. We had booked a quiet room which was confirmed to us one week before. Then we were placed in a room above a courtyard and hotel restaurant where a wedding was celebrated. No other room was given to us. Internet did not work in the room. No air condition in a 4 star hotel. We were told that nobody is responsible here and the manager was away. When we asked for a refund since this was not what we had booked, we were also told that nobody who was present could make a decision. Staff just don’t seem to care. At the end I was told by receptionist Kamila that I should come down to the reception if I want to use the Wi-Fi. Never again this hotel, absolutely not recommended.

Super friendly staff, perfect surroundings and atmosphere. Tiny spa zone but very cosy and not crowded (we wore the only ones there 3 times in 3 days). The brakefast is OK, but what impressed me the most was the look and feel of the hotel. Definetly worth a stay.

Nice hotel on the top of a hill, with castle like surroundings. No AC in the rooms, so it can get a little bit warm in summer time.

We stayed here for our wedding at the castle and it's beautiful; this hotel feels like an extension of the castle (and I think it originally was). The spa in particular was very nice and is free to use, and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Schloss-like hotel in a beautiful location right next to a castle. Very nice view. Very small spa without towels. Breakfast is neat. Unfortunately, the staff does not work in a very customer-oriented way. There is little parking.

Hotel Štekl was the first time away since the birth of our child. Having Hluboká Castle within walking distance and an amazing beautiful parc less than a minute from the hotel is amazing, great for a relaxing walk or maybe running. The rooms are quite large with certain rooms, like ours, having a superb view (front side of the hotel). Though the hotel and restaurant need a general overhaul. The hotel is not particularly clean, the 4-star rating says something about the room size and nothing else. The furniture in the room needs to be replaced; the style looks great with the style of the hotel, but it looks second hand and is broken. For this hotel they do better to have a actual two person bed instead of two singles. We had a corner room (fantastic to have such a room in this hotel), but the escape plan showed a completely different room on another floor. Our windowsills were a whole lot of dead flies and living flies too. Therefore we did not want to open the windows. The lamps and wall sockets gathered dust since a long time, even though the bathroom itself was clean-ish. The hotel pool is much smaller than you'd expect from the photos and does not look clean; we did not use the pool for that reason even though I wanted to swim. In the evening we visited the restaurant and the staff was friendly and did their best (4 out of 5) and the food was good (price/quality 4 out of 5), though table cloths had holes in them.

Great place and awesome value for money. Right in front of the amazing Hluboka castle. Rooms are very spacious and well decorated. We felt like true Czech nobility. The village is also within a walking distance and there are some nice restaurants there. All in all, a highly recommended experience.

If you like the still, it's OK. Great location.

Awesome castle! Very beautiful and astonishingly well-preserved! Best value for money if you want to make your beloved one feel like a princess.

We spent New Year's Eve there, very nice hotel, good food and good service.
Next to it there is a beautiful castle with equally beautiful park.

Very good service, friendly stuff, good location next to the Castle. Over all very good place, only the bathroom in the rooms didn't quite match the standard of the rooms, otherwise all good. Recommend it!

Beautiful views, clean and comfortable rooms with a romantic 'castle' vibe; minus the cold Food was great, massage was even better.

For the romantic weekend. Small fine Wellness area. Good food. Tolkes Breakfast. Pure romance. And next to it a beautiful castle with interesting exhibition.

We've visited only restaurant. Awesome location, sitting outside is just magical. But the food is way behind expectations and price (! ). There are better restaurants around and for a better price. If you still want to enjoy the atmosphere of the place, just order a wine and enjoy!

Just checking out welness centre, very nice, staff kind and not only for the hotel hosts.

The dinner was nice, but not cheap. The facilities were quite acceptable for this part of Europe. Breakfast was mediocre. Nothing special about it for sure.

We stayed one night on a road tour through Czech Republic, and we wished we stayed longer! Loved the private bowling lane, the service from the staff was impeccable. The food in the restaurant was 5 star and the wine selection great. Our suite was larger than I thought it would be, and our views were spectacular. I also had a quick massage before we checked out and left feeling very relaxed. Thankyou for such an authentic experience, we will be back and recommend your hotel to our friends and family.

Stayed Sept 10, with a surprisingly elegant touch. Yes, it is part of the castle and must be your focus for a relaxing time. Staff was attentive, food was excellent, and the wellness center took it to the next level. Toured many castle related hotels, and while just slightly dated it is so nice having a positive experience taking you back in history. Do it!

A letdown. In no aspect the 4star facility they claim to be. Horrible breakfast — cheapest of the cheapest. Coffee from a machine, the type one finds in rundown gasstations. El cheapo bustour tourist wake you with stumbling at 600 am. The wellness a laugh (or cry — whatever you prefer). Hotel down the hill (100m) much better, food excellent, rooms cheaper. Just so much better.

Beautiful ambience of the Palace — is situated next to the stunningly beautiful castle of Frauenberg. Prices are also not too overpriced. The rooms are of course somewhat rustic flavor. Massages are highly recommended.

Brilliant customer service.

Ordinary hotel with high price. Nice old castle atmosphere, spacy rooms with stylish furniture. But you can hear toilet flushing and water running in the next room, hear people in the hall. Breakfast was very poor — almost no selection and low quality food. For all this, czk 2000 per night seems too much.
