I booked a room more than a month in advance, including my credit card information with the booking. The process was difficult as the woman who answers the phone speaks very little English. I had a Czech-speaking friend verify the booking. I arrived around 10 pm to find the door open but the lobby closed. No one answered the door and, after calling repeatedly a woman answered to state that my pre-paid reservation had been cancelled when I did not arrive at or before 5pm. This booking time had never been explained. My wife and I were left on the street with our bags around us. Only a kind neighbor allowed us to find shelter that night.
➜ Great location-in the historic center! Good breakfast. New bathroom, but the room itself was old. Noisy.

Just like most the reviews say, this is not a hotel. You get what you pay for. *no receptionist. Waited 25 minutes for girl to show up. She gave us the keys, pointed in the direction of breakfast, and LEFT *did not give information on bldg access, Wi-Fi, room safe operation, etc. *no air conditioning, not even a fan *you wont get an extra bath towel because nobody here to assist you *located directly across from bar. NOISY AT NIGHT *if youre unlucky like us to get the street side, expect street noise from cleaners at 7am *breakfast located in their sister hotel on another street. Ebersbach Hotel looks much nicer *basic bed, clean bathroom, spacious, creaky wood floors, NAIL HEADS sticking up in the floor to ram your toe into.
