Had such a great experience at the clock inn hostel. Amazing location, rooms were clean and comfortable and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. I especially loved the rooftop terrace/bar. It had an amazing view, a great atmosphere and I found it very easy to make friends as a solo traveller. Would definitely stay here again!

If you are looking for a place to stay in Prague, you definitely should stop by the Clock Inn! Not only is a great place to meet new people as a solo traveler (they organise social activities every single day) but also as a group or couple they have all types of accommodation suiting every one necessities! The location is great, next to the city center and to the river, also with a metro and tram stops just next to the door! Friendly staff and great vibes made the experience in the city way more enjoyable!

Our stay was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The check-in process was poorly managed, leaving us waiting in the lobby for nearly two hours while administrative work was completed. There was no seating available, making the wait even more uncomfortable.
The rooms lacked adequate ventilation, with neither air conditioning nor fans provided. Security was also a major concern, as management appeared to have unrestricted access to guest rooms, which may be unsettling, especially for solo female travelers.
The staff’s behavior was unprofessional and often intimidating. Instead of resolving issues respectfully, they repeatedly threatened to remove guests’ belongings over minor matters. Additionally, penalties were imposed for rules that were never clearly communicated. We were charged 1, 400 CZK for what was described as a violation of an unwritten policy, with little opportunity for discussion or clarification.
The situation escalated to the point where we were threatened with having our luggage removed during the night if the fine was not paid immediately. Based on our experience, I would strongly advise future guests to carefully consider their options before booking.

Scam fines with zero written policy.
Stayed in the 8-bed dorm. One person in our group accidentally slept on the wrong bed — an honest mistake. A guest who checked in later was moved to the empty bed in the same dorm and had a place to sleep with zero issue.
Despite this, the hostel staff demanded 1400 CZK — 700 for the bed + 700 “inconvenience penalty. ” When I asked to see this fine in writing or in the booking terms, they could not produce anything. Instead they threatened to kick us out if we didn’t pay.
No written policy. No documentation.
The room was fine. The location is fine. But the staff will invent fines on the spot and intimidate guests into paying. If you’re a solo or young traveler, be careful — they know you won’t fight back.

Honestly, one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. I’m a solo traveler so I was looking for a safe place, young and cool but still close to the center… jackpot. Stayed there for a couple of weeks and the best things about it were the common areas (they had library, Tv room, study room, terrace) this is great when you don’t want to go out but also don’t want to stay in your room, you can go to the shared spaces and have a good time with new people (or just be on your own).
The rooms are very clean, maintenance everyday which is good. Lastly reception is available 24/7, and they’re all very welcoming and helpful. Would 100% recommend this place!

I would definitely choose it again. The showers and toilets are very large and clean. I didn't hear any noise. The kitchen is shared and very clean and functional. The common areas are adequate and quiet. The hostek is spacious and cozy. The elevator is new. It's so close to everything, I'm so glad I chose this hostel. Just be careful, the water gets cold after a long shower. Otherwise, the staff are very helpful and friendly. I left very happy, thank you.

I had an amazing stay! The location is very central, right in the city centre. The hostel is comfortable, with clean bathrooms, spacious rooms, and nice common areas — especially the terrace. But the staff are definitely the best part. Had to stay for a while and they are really fun. Everyone is very friendly and helpful — especially Anj! They organise events, give great recommendations and are available 24/7. I’d definitely recommend it.

Going to Prague? The Clock Inn is the place to stay. This hostel is amazing! The location is perfect for exploring the city. The rooms and bathrooms always clean, the beds super comfortable, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The social and common rooms made it easy to relax and meet other travelers, and the pub crawls were a lot of fun and a great way to experience Prague’s nightlife. I highly recommend it!

Hostel for kids run by kids. Everyone at the reception has the social skills of a 12 year old, they were not able to communicate professionally about any of my requests. I would’ve enjoyed staying at this hostel and given it high ranking had it not been for the reception telling me “if you don’t like it then why are you staying here? ” in response to me politely alerting them to a broken door on the dorm room. Staff at the reception: pls grow up.

Had a great stay at the Clock Inn! The staff is so friendly and welcoming, the room was very clean. Close to tram stations and easy to get around. Highly recommend!

This is my favourite hostel I’ve ever stayed in. The location is perfect, rooms and bathrooms very clean, and the communal spaces and terrace are great but what really keeps me coming back (4x already), are the amazing staff. A massive shout out to the best of the best Anj, Kat, Hadley and Anne! They truly made the experience unforgettable, they are very good at their jobs, always ready to help and have amazing recommendations. They truly made all my stays great.

Stayed at the hostel and it was the best hostel when it came to accommodation and some of the service, the dayworkers was everything a tired travler would need and makes everything smooth but I can feel I speak for everybody when I say the night staff is the worst, rude och unpleasant. Dident want to do his work and simply just stand there. Would like to give this a 5/5 but because of him it does not live up to that.
I was to believe the service staff almost worked commission based of my experience, they gained nothing doing all the extra work and really went “the extra mile” just so that everything got right, and these are not just lazy teens looking at theirs phones but extremely hardworking, amazing, therefore I would like to mention three workers that really stood out, thank you Anj, Paolo and Rafael.

It's perfectly located only a 20 minute walk from the city centre, and 5 minute walk for daily shopping. The staff were so friendly and so helpful with everything. I only wish there were curtains on the bunk beds but otherwise very clean very comfy.

Coco is so so sweet! She let us store our bags and also let us stay in the lounge until our departure even after checking out. It’s a very nice hostel. Safe too. Good location. It’s easy to walk around Prague from here.

The best thing about this hostel is its warm and friendly staff who are always ready to help you with anything. The location is also perfect, you can easily get anywhere either on foot or by tram. The hostel is very clean and has a beautiful terrace to relax on.

I highly recommend the clock inn hostel! There were plenty of communal spaces to meet other guests, such as the game room, TV room, and work room! I especially loved the terrace where we were able to enjoy drinks while watching the sun set! They have activities sprinkled throughout the week so you won’t get bored. The staff was friendly and they even went out with us and brought us to their favourite bars around town.
