It is the best you can get for this price :) It is not very close to subway. Good place for someone who want to sightsee a lot and only need place to sleep and take a shower.
This hostel is really a college dormitory that gets let out during the summer. It is the least expensive room I have ever rented (~$15/night/room without the large student discount and discounts for staying multiple nights) and you actually get your own room. The quality of the rooms is about what I'd expect from college dorm room and there are often loud college students in the halls but if you are liking for a dirt cheap place to stay, it is great.
